Re: Review: Crawl (Switch eShop)

No 8 bit game looked like this. Its simply a retro style but those that think 8 bit moved or looked this good don't really remember 8 bit graphics that well. It's just an artistic retro style. Even Shovel Knight, while looking fairly 8 bit, could never have run on an NES or Master System. Actual 8 bit games are limited by color palette, sprites on screen, etc. No current game has that limitation. If you don't like that style its certainly understandable but it's hardly 8 bit simply because it uses sprites.

Everyone has their own valid point in why they will or will not purchase it now/later. I'm personally grabbing it at launch. I love the idea of console games on the go and plan on buying most 3rd party releases on it because of that. For those that aren't interested right away that's just fine. What they are looking for in the console just isn't there yet. Each to their own! Have a great week, all!

Re: Video: Check Out a Graphical Comparison for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

I'd say I have a pretty good grasp of the difference. I see entitlement in people all the time. I live in America. I know Nintendo drops the ball. Look at the 3ds "Metroid." The graphics are a typical HD upgrade. As far as we know this is just an HD port, not a remaster. All the details aren't even known so how did Nintendo screw it up already? There could be well needed gameplay changes like Wind Waker.

This has gotten out of control on both sides. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally have a lot of faith in this website, its staff and their reviews. Do I agree with everything said about this game? No. Watching the video shows me it doesn't look as bad as a PS2 game and the framerate can be jumpy but doesn't make the game unplayable. Does it look pretty? Oh no. Fun? Yes. To me. The creator's comments were insulting and reviewers are retaliating. Its a bit of a back and forth. I commend the site for going back and offering more insight and opinion.

Re: Talking Point: The Realities of Wii U System Memory Have Become Clear

I'm fine with this because hard drives are cheap and I can get it when I'm ready. I still prefer to buy the discs and not exclusively download so space won't be too much of an issue initially.

I do not understand why people say that the system is expensive though. 360 and PS3 debuted at higher price tags. Heck, the Vita is the same price and its just a hand held. Also look up the cost of the older systems with inflation. You are paying the same for a Wii U as you did for an NES. I'm happy with most of Nintendo' decisions with this. Not all, but most.
