Got the Windwaker bundle when it came out and have loved the Wii U ever since. I'm not blind to it's serious short comings but I had fun with it and to me that's all that mattered.
I love my Wii U. Still my most played system in my apartment. With that said Nintendo dropped the ball right out of the gate with it's name, poor marketing, online restrictions, YouTube rules and so much more. It never would've reached Wii heights but it could've eclipsed the Gamecube in sales I feel had it been handled right. Nevertheless I'm ready for the Switch.
I've heardthe NX kills men by the hundreds. And if it were here, it would consume the English with fireballs from it's eyes, and bolts of lightning from its arse.
@Sir_JBizzle Yamauchi bought it for $125 million and are now worth 1.1 billion according to Forbes, so I'd say a pretty good ROI. Owning a baseball team is extremely lucrative even if they don't win
Don't know enough about the firing but before that I would've liked to see Nintendo come to the defense of Alison who was taking heat for something she wasn't involved in. She doesn't work in localization and had nothing to do with the censorship. She was simply the PR rep for that game. The attacks on her were brutal and sad. Nintendo should've stepped in and done something in my opinion.
I'm enjoying it. Hope the rewards improve and hopefully they eventually give you coins for physical games, but it's a step in the right direction regardless. Thanks for the hidden block secret!
After reading a lot of the comments I feel like a lot of people never played The Death and Return of Superman. It's fantastic.....and really the only good Superman game. Though Shadow of Apokolips was fun in my opinion.
@Rocky2418 I honestly didn't expect anything older than OoT. I was pleasantly surprised that they had Link to the Past. But now that you tell me they did some Link's Awakening last time, I'm very disappointed. Still an amazing show. The Majora's Mask stuff especially was incredible.
Upsetting that Super Mario was only at 10 but I understand why. Each Mario has improved and been better than the last for the most part but SMB still remains my favorite game to this day. It's the only game I can ever say was perfect when it was released. The colors, the graphics, the music, the gameplay. It was a work of art the likes of which were never seen before. Oh man, I can still remember the excitement.
The beauty about video games, and Nintendo especially is that it has a wide range of ages enjoying the hobby. If someone was born 5-10 years after me and started with SMW or SM64 they probably aren't going to have the same experience I had with the original. No fault of theirs. I'm just glad so many people, regardless of age, enjoy Mario!

I'm one of the weirdos that prefers 2D Mario to 3D but a 3D one will push the system to sell much better than a 2D one would.
