It's not amongst the possible choices, but I always found Luigi's Mansion 2 criminally underrated. Sure it's not perfect (that damn ice boss!), but I consider it superior to the original, which was too short and quickly ran out of ideas. LM2 gave up on the openness of the world, but the themes of each mansion were geuinely interesting and lead to great ideas. Guess I'll vote for Mario Land 2 then.
Pretty sure the treasure pocket has been there since SwSh. Either way, fast traveling was for sure in SwSh, Titan Pokémons are basically the Totem 'mons from Sun/Moon and the critical capture has been in every game since Black/White. You could've just done a top 10, y'know.
Nintendoland is the funniest party game of the last decade, too bad we didn't got a sequel, either on Wii U or Switch. Smash 4 still has some unique stages and modes that make it different enough from Ultimate. Free online too! Xenoblade X is a must-have, it's not flawless but it's amazing to just walk or fly across planet Mira. Awesome OST too! Twilight Princess HD is technically the best version of the game, but it's a bit expensive nowadays and I think it's gonna get a port on Switch soon enough. Screw TWW HD and its new artstyle though. The Wonderful 101 on Wii U is the best version of the game too, it's just so intuitive to use the touchscreen to draw formations. If you don't care about the new modes of the 3DS version, Yoshi's Woolly World looks best on Wii U and it's an amazing platformer. ZombiU is...ok I guess? Kinda buggy and not that hard, but its gimmick was really cool back then.
Not to forget Wii retrocompatibility and the Virtual Console!
Of course Dexit is stil a thing, it's clearly written on the official website. https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-scarlet-and-pokemon-violet/ It was never about technical limitations or remodeling each and every Pokémon (the 3D models in SwSh are basically the same than the 3DS ones). They just don't care and want you to pay for HOME storage.
Meh. I feel like 2001 (Adventure 2 + switch to third-party), 2003 (first multiplatform 3D game + Mega Collection + Sonic X + more!) or 2006 (a bunch of games) were far bigger than 2022 (one compilation + one new game + one new cartoon). That's way better than what we got between 2018 and 2021 though.
My first ever shiny was a Weedle in Gold's Bug Contest. I also caught a Gligar on the same file. Unfortunately, Gen 2-3 transfers were impossible and my Gold battery has been dead for long, so I lost my beloved Pokémon.
I've recently decided to shiny hunt those two Pokémon again in X, which is my favorite game of the last decade. I've caught a shiny Gligar yesterday on Route 19 after a solid 600 horde encounters, now it's time to hunt Kakuna in the Friend Safari!
@Yosher I can relate. I bought it for 5€ during an eShop sales and it was worth the price. Even if it was clearly a cashgrab that reused assets, it was still pretty fun. And we eventually got a true RE on the 3DS, so no hard feelings.
The 3DS game is not a port but its own thing, so it is basically a game lost forever. The Wii U version also did neat things with its double screen, too bad. I don't understand how this and the DSi purge haven't been told before they pull the trigger...
Well, it was either that or Paper Mario (I suppose remakes like Xenoblade or Pokémon MD were excluded from the list and Hyrule Warriors 2 was released too late). Not too surprising then, 2020 wasn't exactly the best year for the Switch.
The first Crazy Castle game is so awesome, it's one of the very first games I've ever played and I still own it. Straightforward and filled with content. I've bought Crazy Castle 3 and 5 a few years ago, and I was extremely disappointed to see these games being more like puzzle games with collectibles and less about beating your foes.
So a game completely destroyed by both time constraints and clear lack of programming skill on the latest console will end up outselling truly amazing games with lots of post-League content (DP and GS). Yeah, sure, whatever. It's hardly a surprise after the sales of the Let's Go games.
The words "flame", "puzzle" and the latin sentence make me think of a Sonic Storybook 3 for some reason. Probably not gonna happen, but that'd be cool.
It's not like the series has never done that in the past. Ruby and Sapphire had an entire museum dedicated to sea environment. But eh, gotta write a pointless news on a divisive game just to get more clicks, am I right?
Ok, and...? Everyone knows that third-party controllers have always been weird and don't control well, and you didn't event test the second part of this assessment. So what's the point of this article?
> Pokemon fan: WE WANT A NEW POKEMON GAME EVERY 2-3 YEARS.
Yeah, sure, except no fan ever asked for it. GF has been doing it for years and it's an efficient commercial strategy, but no one got mad in 2015 or 2008 where there were no new games.
Anyway, bad article, written with arguments that have been debunked for 2 weeks. But hey, at least NintendoLife will have free copies of the game, so who cares about ethics?

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Name Link When You're Playing A Zelda Game?
I always use my name, and I was quite saddened when I discovered we couldn't do that in BotW.

No update or DLC for the already-existing version, then?
Good thing I haven't already bought it then.
Re: PSA: Dragalia Lost Has Ended Its Service As Planned
Never been able to play it since it was never released on the French PlayStore, it looked fun. Thanks, Nintendo.

I was already surprised to find online players for RE Mercenaries back in 2013, and it's still alive and kicking in 2021?
Amazing, I should say.
Re: Feature: 10 Years Later, We Return To Our Abandoned Animal Crossing: Wild World Village
