Slightly late considering we've just received the full schedule for the entire E3 2021 weekend, Square Enix has now confirmed the date and time for its Square Enix Presents conference.
The show will be taking place on Sunday, June 13 at 12:15pm PT / 20:15 BST / 21:15 CEST and will last for approximately 40 minutes. It's hard to say how many Switch titles we should expect to see as the presentation unfolds, but the team has shared a purposefully vague list of games that will be making an appearance.
"Rest assured we have plenty that will definitely make you go ‘ooh' and possibly even ‘ahh’," Square Enix says. "...but we’re going to keep the line-up mostly under wraps for now. After all, we don’t want to ruin the fun."
- The world premiere of a new game from Eidos-Montréal
- An exciting update on BABYLON’S FALL
- New details about Marvel’s Avengers Expansion: Black Panther- War for Wakanda and updates on upcoming in-game events
- A deep dive on Life is Strange: True Colors and a first look at Life is Strange: Remastered Collection
For those not in the know, Eidos-Montréal has previously worked on games like Marvel's Avengers, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and also Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the Wii U. It hasn't released a game on a Nintendo platform since then, so here's hoping that changes for this latest reveal.
Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the comments.

Finally an update on Babylon's fall. Hopefully Bamco shows Digimon Survive as well.
The world premiere will probably be that Final Fantasy souls-like.
I am actually relatively excited for their presentation. They have a pretty large catalogue of titles that I like so the options are pretty good for this one.
Triangle Strategy release window would be nice.
Fingers crossed for a new Deus Ex but I'm not expecting it, realistically.
Meh. Not really expecting much. The Dragon Quest presentation covered most of what I am interested in from Square Enix... unless they announce something related to the Chrono series after all these years.
Or maybe there won’t be any switch related stuff in this show
I hope there is more from Square because that is a weak line-up and that world premiere is likely the PS5 exclusive Final Fantasy game
Can we get a Balan Wonderworld sequel?
Not expecting anything for switch other than the games already announced for switch.
I don’t think life is strange would come to switch anyway
They "don't want to ruin the fun" of someone leaking it.
The World Premiere is probably that other PS5 exclusive FF game
Really hope they show more of FF16 though. That first trailer looked great. At least a cinematic teaser for Remake Part 2 would be nice as well
@TheFrenchiestFry
Eidos Montreal is not making that PS5 Final Fantasy spin-off.
Wow.... the avengers game is still a thing?
@westman98 Oh wait Eidos? Ok it's probably the Guardians of the Galaxy game then.
Is that everything they're showing? Cos if so, it's gonna be a boring 40 minutes. I was hoping for more FF16 or FF7 Remake stuff.
FF 4 and 6
Chrono Trigger
KH Story so far
DQ 4-9
Announced for Switch, I'm ready!
Tactics Ogre port from the PSP please on the Switch. That is all I need from SE
Tomb Raider collection for the Switch and I'm happy.
I hope to see more on project triangle. would love to see an ACT RAISER remake of the SNES classic as well. any Super Mario RPG related news is just a dream so I am keeping it real.
@stinky_t You're like the only person on Earth that's asking for a sequel to that game.
And it's unlikely that will happen since the game crashed and burned pretty badly both in review scores and sales. So, I don't know what makes you think a sequel will happen.
Honestly, all I really want is Chrono Trigger, FF VI (III in the US) and Final Fantasy IV (II in the US) coming to the Switch.
@russell-marlow It was sarcasm.
@anoyonmus We could at least get some Deus Ex games, maybe even a port of the 1st game or a port of Mankind Divided.
Knowing Squeenix, they'll unlikely bring any of their western owned IPs to the Switch because of how much they don't care for those studios. They probably lost trust in them after the whole Avengers game fiasco cost Eidos time and money that could've been spent on another Deus Ex game. And of course Disney won't get the blame for that. (sigh)
Here's hoping they bring back Legacy of Kain.
@NoTimeForBS I couldn't tell, there's no emote in his comment.
People need to look at the developer: Eidos Montreal. RPGs are not their wheelhouse.
Not feeling overly excited about that line up. Square had so many games I enjoyed back in the 90/00s, now it feels like I'm waiting for remakes/remasters.
Since most of its still under wraps, I'm hoping for an FF Advance collection (Maybe they'll even dig out something from the canned Wonderswan version of FF3? I doubt it, but a man can dream) and maybe a port of something NeiR related, but that's about it. If we're going completely insane, though, I can always keep hoping that the secret Forever Entertainment project is actually full, Trials of Mana style remakes of the 6 2D Final Fantasy games. I know that it won't happen, but I want to believe.
Imagine this
World Premier: Metroid - 2021, launching on Switch Pro in 4k
Can you imagine? it would blow us all away. I know it wont happen but damn that would blow all our minds.
@Quantaur Nope...but Square is really trying to beat a dead horse.
@MS7000 I too have lost interest in Square Enix except the Dragon Quest side of it. Not that the Dragon Quest presentation blew my mind but still was probably better suited to my taste than this is going to be.
They recently pulled Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver off Steam, I was just trying to purchase the game the other day and it's unavailable.
It's quite possible they're making a remake of that game, which it very well would need and a lot of people have been interested in.
How about FF VI redone with the same treatment DQ III is getting?
Ah E3. The best time to kick back and watch Gamers™ get upset and disappointed at video games.
Is anyone else really anticipating something from Tokyo RPG Factory??? Oninaki was so great!!!
It's a guarantee that Balan won't even get a mention.
Did they just use a power-up from Balan Wonderworld to advertise their show?
I want Crisis Core: FF VII and Type-0 HD Remakes. Also an action-RPG spin off like Crisis Core for Switch
