@sik187 it is a simple image gif, not a clip. Just use the tag <IMG></IMG> with the image url in the middle but replace the <> with the rectangular brackets (Alt Gr+8, Alt Gr+9).

So, about that price point:

I see most of you are not getting the joke. Both Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta are two of Kamiya's personal favourite games of all time. In fact Terra Cresta also makes it to the top 10 favourite shmups of all time from yours truly. I would very much like that announcement to be real. So don't be mad at a company that keeps on pumping quality on the Switch for this April's fool. Instead be mad that Sol Cresta isn't a real thing. In fact, kickstart it and I will 100% finance it.

@Tasuki The American NES games were bonus content for the Japanese release, but even that one didn't have Nintendo World Cup. The reason surely must be licensing because that game was remade and published by Nintendo themselves, removing every mention of Kunio in the process. Arc System Works has no reach into that one because they only got games published and owned by Technos.

@Moroboshi876 The Mega Drive soccer game, the Neo Geo Dodgeball one and so forth. Let us dream.

@Moroboshi876 Figured it out. The Japanese release has 19 games if you pre-ordered it, but the 19th game is Hanazono Koukou Dodge Ball Bu, not Shodai Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun as I believed in the dark corners of my mind. I will update the review ASAP.

@Moroboshi876 No my good sir, the one game omitted I refer was the one present on the original Japanese release. I have in the past review both the missing title and sequel for Nintendo Life, feel free to look them up. I still hope some day someone will fan translate the Super Famicom baseball game, the only sport that Kunio didn't get to represent in 8-bit format... or let me dream of a Kunio World Classics Collection Volume 2: The 16-bit rubmles even including the solo Mega Drive and Neo-Geo games.

PS: I'd be happy with a Kunio Game Boy collection too.

@Ooyah Not a single one of them. Target Renegade was an excellent Renegade sequel exclusive to Europe , developed by Ocean in order to continue the legacy of the original Renegade western reskin. The best we speak of Renegade 3, the better. As you can quickly glance from the Kunio lineage, the series evolved quite differently in Japan.

@Drac_Mazoku Would be really cool if they updated the original release with the English translations, but it would be even cooler if they translated the Super Famicom missing game.

You guys know how this goes, as part of the NL post-review duty, I'll be around all day and night if anyone needs any clarifications regarding this lovely 8-bit compilation.

@YANDMAN You are right, I have been eagerly following the development of Apex Racing until they went dark an year ago and its very nice to see them secure a release.

@YANDMAN I fear you were not the only I have diserviced but I can assure I reviewed the game in a timely manner, it was just not a priority among games being released that week and that explains the publishing date. Also note the lack of review codes, this one came out of my pocket.

Been keeping up with development for some time now, day one for me.

@YANDMAN I too bought it on release but the red flags were already up due to lack on trailer or review codes. Once I saw 60fps where out of the window I knew it could not live up to what we want or deserve on Switch, but I still managed to have fun with it for that weekend.

@YANDMAN If you take a look at my gameplay video above, you will see that it is far from a 1/10.

@Bucket That one is a bit more cell shaded, but I would not dismiss some sort of asset pack for racing games out there.

@Benji80 fear nothing about investing into GRID Autosport, you can play it as unrealistic as you want, and there is even stock car racing.

@nocdaes Please understand I have seen far, far worse on the eShop.

Some East Cup gameplay for you, so you can see it is not a complete wreck but simply not up to the game it is paying homage.

It's like ID acknowledging that it's the "not so best DOOM". Happy to have this with proper lighting at last.
