No way id pay 70€ to play AAA sequels of sequels every year, but for something close and true to the heart like a new F-Zero? Day one!
I believe I will be retiring after this hardware generation and become a full-time retro gamer. Will still keep tabs on anything Nintendo related but probably just look at the current industry from afar.
Sure, Super Mario Kart had all the street cred, Street Fighter II was on everybody mind... but did you rent Herzog Zwei for a day and sit down with a mate for hours straight playing this in versus mode? One of the best local multiplayer games ever, right next to Mega Bomberman and Micro Machines on the Mega Drive. Perfect for the Switch in tabletop mode.
Can't believe how much I still love this whole series. I double dipped and am now waiting for my Western version of the game to arrive. Really happy with the news of both G and Burst Chronicles making the jump to the Switch later this year. I am abit concern if Burst will include all the (truly expensive!) DLC, but that is something to worry about later.
Anyway, have some Zuntata to brighten your day while reading Stuart's review.
You guys DON'T want us to cover something made by fans that obvious took a ton of work to produce and as such should be celebrated by all of us Nintendo fans who gather at Nintendo Life.
Ok, now I understand why I woke up today and felt something was slightly off...
@outsider83 I am very used to people just taking a look at the final score. This is an issue we have with modern society that I have been aware and leanr to live with for many years now.
@outsider83 One of the games I mentioned on the review, Einhänder.
Big influence on Rigid Force Alpha / Redux for sure. Fear not, this one has aged flawlessly.
@Agent721 I've heard of it but never played it. The collectors edition really is that: for collectors. I prefer to invest that money on indie eshop titles rather than physical good that eventually just end up taking precious space at home.
@EmirParkreiner Thanks for clarifying that, I was surprised to find a coupon for it in my box since the initial news was that it was a bonus download of the Special Edition. I am unable to edit my own review once it has been posted, but if one of the senior staff members happens to read this, they might do so.
@zool Space Invaders is a very special series for me because it is where my feverish, unending passion for mush began. To be able to have this ready to go anytime, anywhere is priceless.
@zool The Play-Asia one. Considering there is a good possibility this won't make it to the West, I found it was acceptable trade-off to play Space Invaders Extreme on my 56" LCD.
@MattAllsopp Q*uick *T*ime *E*vents, as seen on *Resident Evil 4 and Shenmue. Mid cutscene, a prompt pops up with a button, direction or combination of both to press and if you don't do so in a timely fashion, something bad happens.
@KoopaTheQuick It's checkpoint based and it works wonderfully. You hit the brakes at a stop light with a racing event and the game generates a "track" across the city streets by adding numbered checkpoints.

@Mr_Horizon Just making sure you had the right level.
Re: Review: 1993 Shenandoah - One For Hardcore Amiga Fans Only
@Mr_Horizon Even bugs feel like real Amiga game "features". I think you forgot to move the map past the last level, where the real bonus level is btw.

Downloading it ASAP, played the heck out of this on Zx Spectrum and Amiga.
@OorWullie Hamster usually includes all versions of the ROM in their Arcade Archives so its very likely.
