@rjejr Yes, Knee Lifts are a regular feature every single day and those require some clear space above since you also stretch both arms above your head.

@Ks123 They're great to smash nuts. Also destroy all silly bias towards gamers as a bunch of "lazy coach potatos".

@MeloMan Russian Twists (with your feet in the air, not on the ground!) and a particular level that has you rowing up huge waterfalls are your tickets to abs land!

@coolwali ... "still going strong"? Yuke's bailed out leaving an inexperienced team to complete a messy bug that came out on the shopes called 2k20, an insult to wrestling fans and video game consumers in general. So much so the sim series is taking and undefined hiatus break while Battlegrounds tries to buy some good graces from the audience. When a Nintendo 64 wredting game made in 1998 (WCW/nWo Revenge) outclasses your current gen wrestling game in every aspect except graphics perhaps it is more than due time to take a long break and rethink the whole "plan".

@coolwali ,,, did I stutter?

There is place for both styles of games, or rather there used to be because 2020 is a very strange year and we still don't have Fire Pro Wrestling on Switch. In my life experience as soon as wrestling games became full-on simulation of a pre-determined "sport", the less fun they have become which inevitability lead to the full-crash of WW2k series last year. Now WWE 2k Battlegrounds might not be a masterpiece on the leve of N64 and GameCube wrestling bliss but it is by far a lot more fun than any wrestling simulator released in the past several years.

Now understand that this is not a right or wrong situation, everyone has the right to their opinion and both are valid because in the end its your money and your choice. I will certainly keep carrying on my beliefs in the genre as I'm quite sure you will continue with your own. Plenty of room in the world for both.

I leave you with the wisdom of my ancestors.

No way id pay 70€ to play AAA sequels of sequels every year, but for something close and true to the heart like a new F-Zero? Day one!

I believe I will be retiring after this hardware generation and become a full-time retro gamer. Will still keep tabs on anything Nintendo related but probably just look at the current industry from afar.

Re: Herzog Zwei Is The Next Sega Ages Classic To Come To Switch

Shiryu

Sure, Super Mario Kart had all the street cred, Street Fighter II was on everybody mind... but did you rent Herzog Zwei for a day and sit down with a mate for hours straight playing this in versus mode? One of the best local multiplayer games ever, right next to Mega Bomberman and Micro Machines on the Mega Drive. Perfect for the Switch in tabletop mode.

Re: Mini Review: Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade - Coin-Op Highlights From Taito's Seminal Shooter Series

Can't believe how much I still love this whole series. I double dipped and am now waiting for my Western version of the game to arrive. Really happy with the news of both G and Burst Chronicles making the jump to the Switch later this year. I am abit concern if Burst will include all the (truly expensive!) DLC, but that is something to worry about later.

Anyway, have some Zuntata to brighten your day while reading Stuart's review.
