I was not so keen on the regular soundtrack for Excite Truck so I just made my own. Good times...
... wonder what the guys at Monster Games are up to these days?
@Magician thats because it is from the same developer.
I'm a bit baffled at you guys for the reception of that trailer. If you played Guns, Gore & Cannoli 1 and 2 you would know that looks can be misleading, its one of the finest run'n'guns I played in this hardware generation and now you put a WH 40.000 license on top of that? This is a instant winner in my books.
@Oddball83 ... oh, you speak of the original Arcade version I had the utmost pleasure to review for this very same website that is my life's work for the past +6 years, the very same game that introduced my all time favourite video game character of all time? Truly I must need mental aid so if you happen to find my mind wandering, please return to sender.
PS: Surely you were a Commodore 64 owner in the old 8-bit wars of old, the ZX Spectrum vast library vs the Commodore 64 CHIP music and improved colours battlefields in the playground of old.
@Precinct1313 yes , indeed it is, manages to be better than the arcade original which is a real shocker. Not as big a shock when I discovered that the 128k version had the overhead shoulder throw, making the game so , so much easier!
@Andee well, just you wait until you discover the hot garbage dumpster fire that was Renegade 3. In fact, we don't even speak about it. It never happened.
Come on, retro Nintendo Life gang! Only @HamatoYoshi guessed this one right, this is Target: Renegade on the ZX Spectrum. The producers set out to make a no-compromise spiritual reboot of the game and I'm super stocked to see this Switch bound.
... By the Load"", I am so, so very old. So old...
@Ks123 300+ straight days on Ring Fit Adventure produced better results in legs and abs as expected. This is one showing similar results to the 250+ straight day of the original. Its all about disciple, what you eat, how much you rest/sleep how much you walk outside your house per day. A combination of all 4 will make you look the business. But Ring Fit > Fitness Boxing 2 > Fitness Boxing. Mix and match at least 1 hour a day for visible results.
I calculate my chance of getting this to be 0.00%.
Joke's on me when this thing becomes a rare NFT or the like down the line and the rarest Nintendo eShop title of all time.
@Retrogamindaddy Absolutely, even more so if you're going freash into the franchise. It is sadly missing a few key titles, most of all Super Turrican II and the Director's cut for the SNES and Mega Drive that includes come missing content from the original releases. The upcoming Turrican Anthology will be a better option... assuming it ever ends up on the eshop, that is (it was a limited run physical edition thingy from last year and should start shipping any day now).
Ah yes, that time of the year I am constantly reminded of the completed and unreleased Wii version of Rogue Leaders and always hope they make a new HD remaster of the entire trilogy. But alas, no... it is things like this this that turn people to the Dark Side.
No fancy photo with all my game cartridges this year (putting 470 cartridges aside is way too much hard work for this NL staffer) so here is an artistic image instead with a reminder that life was so much simpler merely 4 years ago. Seize the day, gang!
This game puts SFV to shame and made with a fraction of Capcom's budget. About time this comes to the Switch, I will gladly re-buy it (I've waited years until I gave in to a STEAM sale last December). Plus: Skullomania on the Switch? Triple sold!
I'm into the late game and I have indeed been fighting crash-to-dashboard bugs, hope The Game Bakers is aware of the situation because I really, REALLY love this whole package. It's like "FURI" for couples but that didnt' stop me from enjoying it alone.
Was just playing it last month, there are so many forgotten Wiiware gems and this one is on the top 5 of my list. I would promptly re-buy it for a second round in full HD glory.
@ThanosReXXX thats because itcwascthecfirst game to bring the genre sucessfuly on the Switch. But it remains a linear if ever beautiful experience and I fully exhausted it. The games I mention above have yet to stop giving me new ways to enjoy them.
@ThanosReXXX but wait, Redout: Space Assault also has ...free roaming flight levels! ( plot twist ) Both offer linear progression, both have a ton of eye candy but if I had to pick one... well, neither because we all know that EVERSPACE and "Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw* are the two finest examples of space shooty thing on Switch. If you have exhausted both of those, these two are solid next game choices.

Always a good time to remind everyone that the best TRON game ever made is a Nintendo Wii exclusive by n-Space... and I need to replay that ASAP.
