I've actually managed with a 256 GB this gen. I've got most of the big time Nintendo games and some 2nd and 3rd parties thrown I there also.
Mostly gaming on my PS5, PS Portal and since around 2 months ago my Xbox Series S. Still gotta beat Paper Mario TTYD and Zelda Wisdom. Only played each of those probably around 10 hours each because so many great games coming out.
Club Nintendo 😔 I've got a few nice posters and some other physical goodies back then, including a basket like bag that I store all my Amiibos in to this day. Very nice, very cool.
I'm already regretting MK1, haven't even played it in a month and barely played it before that. Played MK11 for 2 years straight and even went back to finish the Platinum Trophy for the PS4 version on my PS5 when I got it.
Bye Bye, Mortal Kombat....a series I've been playing since the first release in 1992. The last 31 years have been fun.
What's with the constant barrage of sounds going on here?
That alone changes my decision to preorder this, I'm definitely going to focus on Spiderman 2 for a while first. I'll pick Wonder up either in late 2023 or early 2024 instead.
Edit: I think starting with the next console, Nintendo need to start adding Accessibility Options and regular options to all their games.
I think it'd be cool if Nintendo somehow made it where updates for physical games updated the actual game card and not take up space on the internal memory. Not for the Switch but possibly Switch 2.
MK11 is one of only a few games I've ever played for more than a few months before I decided I was done.
In fact, I played it online and offline for 2 Solid years, only 3 to 5 games have had that kind of hold on me since the late 90s. Absolutely love it, it even took MK2 and MK3s place as my favorite MK.
I have Street Fighter 4 and 5 and put a small bit of time into them but ultimately their style and gameplay isn't really my cup of tea, but I do love that they are content packed and I admit they are fun in a casual play style.
I'm thinking about getting SF6 and seeing what I can do when I put more effort into learning the game as MK and Smash are the only fighters I played a lot.
Edit: it mostly depends when MK12 is announced and released on whether I go hardcore-ish in SF6. I'm hoping not until at least 2024 but I'll take it sooner if they're working on it now.
You must only have a Switch because 15GB is a very small file size when 3rd Party games on the other consoles can be over 100GBs and probably average 25+
I'm fully expecting a delay to 2023, but I do hope it comes this year. I can deal with some animations being off as long as they plan to fix them in due time. I'm enjoying WWE 2K22 but their was bad decisions made regarding the game and DLC packs.
In all fairness, this game is still in development so there is still time to fix noticeable issues before release. I'm waiting for final gameplay trailers and hopefully eventually they show a couple matches using final gameplay etc.
After the announcement people still had until the price cut went into effect to be eligible for the Ambassador program, which was still a few weeks after the announcement if I remember right.
Also, you just basically had to own one and create an account before the deadline even if you paid less by buying used or new from anyone. There wasn't any kind of check system in place for them to know exactly what EVERY single 3DS owner paid for it, especially if bought used or second-hand.
A teen Mc employee was most likely only making $7.25/hour working no more than 20 hours at best at most McDonald's a week up until recently when some McDonald's raised their wages ($13 here locally, non-corporate).
That's a $145/week BEFORE taxes. It would take around 3 weeks just to afford the Switch itself and then a few more in order to get games/accessories. You're giving the USA too much credit.
A teen working at McDonald's is not affording a 65" TV in 10 days. Maybe on a super mega sale for a non-name brand television. You're giving McDonald's too much credit when they've been paying their teen employees low for decades.
I started out at $6.55 when I worked at a franchised McDonald's 2008 and only got a raise when the minimum wage hit $7.25. I was already an adult then and could work literally anytime and as many hours as they needed or wanted me to and I still was only getting around 20 hours a week until I took on a maintenance role along with the working the grill I already did and started getting around 35 hours a week about a year into working there
Thankfully, I was only there for 1 year and 3 months before I decided I wanted a better paying job.
I know yesterday I commented that I wouldn't buy the game right now due to online requirements for customizations but I caved in order to have a new game to play with the family that we all could enjoy together.
Maybe I'll play online occasionally to unlock some stuff....maybe.
Was very interested in this for Bowling and Tennis to play locally with my wife and kids but reading that customizations are locked behind online play I think I'll wait for a while before I get this. I always felt customizations in these Wii Sports like games would be cool but of course they mess it up for those of us who have no desire to play online.

Re: UK Charts: Mario Wonder Jumps Ahead Of Spider-Man 2 And Takes The Top Spot
I love Spider-Man 2, I'm around halfway thru the story (pre-ordered) but I purchased Wonder a few days ago and SM2 has taken a temporary back seat.
Mario Wonder is fun and wacky. I like Mario Maker 1 and 2 but I'd rather play a whole game of levels created by the Mario dev team.
SM2=10/10
Wonder=10/10
Lets-a-gooo!!
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Super Mario Bros. Wonder?
I'm waiting to purchase either later this year or early next year.
Playing SpiderMan 2 for the next month or two and planning to get Mario RPG next month and those will probably take me to the end of the year.

Re: Video: The Unsolved amiibo Dilemma - Boxed Or Unboxed?
I have around 30 amiibo. I unbox them and keep them in a carry pouch thing I got from Club Nintendo (back when it was good).
I want to occasionally use them, I'm not a collector in the sense of keeping them boxed hoping one day I can sell them for tremendous value.

Re: Miyamoto Wasn't A Fan Of The Art Style In Zelda: Wind Waker

Re: Capcom Has Officially Announced Dragon's Dogma II
I can't really get into the first game.
I probably waited too long to buy it after it first came out as the visuals aren't great anymore and the gameplay just isn't much fun.
Looking forward to seeing if 2 interests me enough, 4k alone ought to at least make it visually appealing.

A free license to continue stealing Nintendo games?
