I either don't recognize or wouldn't recommend the vast majority of these titles except for Full Metal Furries. Do not let the name deceive you. It's not about Furries. It's about a rag tag group of female bad@sses. The game has great dialogue, fantastic pixel art, a beautiful soundtrack and it is a blast to play on the couch with family and/or friends. The difficulty can get hard at times but it never feels cheap and the sense of accomplishment you feel when overcoming a difficult level or boss is second to none. Highly recommend if you are remotely interested in action games that require skill, strategy and teamwork.
I will defend Dead or Alive and even Street Fighter (especially SF in Spanish, don't know why but it's better in Spanish). Both are over the top cheesey movies but what else would you expect from a movie based on a fighting game. Furthermore, how can you not enjoy Street Fighter which gave us a coked out of his mind JCVD playing Guile and Raul Julia's (RIP) amazing portrayal of Bison. I guess Nintendo Life never watched Far Cry or any of the Blood Rayne movies.
Someone at Sega must have approved this hideous thing being labeled as Sonic and that person should be fired immediately. Everything about this abomination is just wrong and reminds me of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (the one Urkel voiced). At least that one resembled Sonic. This seems to take that design to an extreme. They copied the blue legs just like in the cartoon and said "Cover him entirely in fur. Sonic will show NO skin." And then they stole his gloves because why not. I'm surprised they gave him red sneakers.
Trying to unload stock prior to E3 and the announcement of new Switch hardware. A portable only Switch will be announced as well as a "slightly" improved Switch. Not this Switch Pro nonsense. Maybe it will be a bigger battery. That would force Nintendo to lower the Switch as we know now down to $250.
@ShadJV You are correct. The very first Kirby game, Kirby's Dream Land for the Gameboy did not have a capture ability and it's almost as boring as what was created in this PS4 game. Keyword, almost. I would still rather play the Game Boy Kirby.
I was initially impressed but without Kirby's powers, it's really not Kirby. It's the equivalent of throwing Wolverine into that game without his claws and healing ability.
Waiting for more reviews. This one seems off the mark. I agree with others here who said they were surprised by the 6 after reading the review. I was expecting an 8 since the only negative things said was the game doesn't hold your hand or explain how some tasks affect your character. Sounds to me like someone doesn't enjoy games like River City Ransom, Shenmue and Persona which is fine but those games are all gems in my eyes.
Looks like they threw a bunch of ideas in a blender with some zombies. I'll wait for the reviews. It looks interesting but it also gives me that mobile game vibe, especially at that price.
I want to say "nope" but I need to see the arcade stick first because part of me wants to throw my $ at Capcom. I would have preferred a sequel to that Capcom beat em up compilation and an arcade stick for the Switch.
@Itzdmo Well my comment regarding the quality of games was in reference to the Switch's overall library of games not just this specific week. Now the amount of games being released on the other hand, well as you can see week after week, Nintendo has been allowing a lot of games to be released on their system which I think is a good thing. I can separate the winners from the stinkers by using a piece of plastic that magically spits out money.
@hihelloitsme No question here. It appears to be heading that way. On the brightside, there is a better ratio of quality for the Switch than there was for the Wii. The shovelware on that system was out of control towards its final years.
I bet that my daughter will have more fun with this, than she would with any of the Labo kits, the VR kit being the one and only exception. Kids don't seem to mind low resolutions and huge pixels as much, if at all.
Well, you definitely can't say that the Switch doesn't have games. With the rate their releasing, the Switch's library might catch up in numbers with the Xbox One and PS4.
That sucks for those with poo poo internet download speeds and/or a data cap. Would be nice if Nintendo could get the costs down on the carts so that publishers did not have to resort to this.
@The_BAAD_Man Beware. Mine turned back on last year and Sony got me for an entire $60 when I could have picked up a year for $45 elsewhere. I wonder if a system update did that.
What a missed opportunity by Sega. I think there is a big enough audience to justify testing the waters with a Yakuza port (unless Shenmue 1 & 2 bombed on the Switch). Sega should just do a worldwide Switch release of the Wii U port of Yakuza 1 & 2. That can't be that difficult or expensive. Release it digital only for all I care.
Keep your expectations low. I can't imagine the image quality/resolution being any good. I have Samsung's Gear VR with a Galaxy 7 and boy was the image quality on that BAD. I just can't look past have huge looking pixels in my face. Maybe the Switch 2.0 can do VR right but there is no way this can.
Kudos to them for not only accepting responsibility but addressing the issues and offering upcoming solutions. If only the bigger studios would take notice and humble themselves but that will never happen.
The blame falls on Nintendo. It's their digital storefront and they should be responsible for ensuring that screenshots posted are from their console and not from competing platforms or the PC.
I can only speak on what I know and I can say this with the utmost confidence, a gaming platform based on streaming games, with zero hardware aka a physical console, will not work in America. Maybe in other parts of the world with better and more stable internet connections, places where ISP'S don't throttle their customers and give them data caps but not here folks. Not anytime soon. ISP's in America are trying their hardest to buy politicians off in hopes that one day a bill can be passed that allows these companies to treat the internet as a utility such as water and electricity. It will be a dark day in America if that ever happens.
I bought a third party Switch controller that looks and feels almost like an Xbox One pad and I've been meaning to calibrate it. Hard to explain but I noticed that the analog sticks were off while playing Minecraft with my daughter. I doubt that recalibrating will fix the issue but I'm hopeful.

Oh I see what's going on here. That's not a 6. They either forgot to finish that 8 or it's an upside down 9.

Re: Random: Warren Spector's Nintendo Switch Has A Battery Problem
Warren can afford to buy a new Switch but instead turns to Twitter for attention.
Re: Don’t Expect A Skies Of Arcadia Port Or Sequel Anytime Soon
@Aneira Grandia 2 combat was better but overall I prefer SOA. I recall the ship battles being impressive at the time.
Re: Don’t Expect A Skies Of Arcadia Port Or Sequel Anytime Soon
I own both and would gladly buy it again on the Switch.
