I played Fortnight on the PS4 and on the Switch in handheld mode and to be honest, 30 fps felt pretty good, especially when you take into consideration that it's a portable version of the game.

Picking one up. It'll go nice with the SNES pad I bought from them.

I hope this is better than Tetris Effect which in my opinion was highly overrated. Maybe it was cool with the PSVR which I don't have but playing it on a TV sucked. Everything that was supposed to make it different quickly wore out it's welcome and was just distracting, especially at higher levels.

It looks awful. I own it on the Wii U and I don't recall it looking that bad. Actual I know for a fact that the Wii U version looks better than what was shown. I remember being impressed when playing it. The Switch version looked bad in every scene.

I would love for Sony to release another handheld. The PS Vita is an amazing piece of hardware that was held back by Sony's greed and their insistence on using expensive Sony branded memory cards for storage. If Sony created a handheld that was backwards compatible with the PS1, 2 and 3 games, I would buy it on day one.

@Jokerwolf i recently got it. It's random. I received it by defeating an elite. That's one of the things I love/hate about the game, the randomness.

I absolutely love Dead Cells on the Switch and have zero issues with the game not achieving 60 fps. I just wish that the developers would add a mode that made the game less rogue like. Maybe a new game plus mode that allowed you to decide your weapon load out and that didn't punish you for dying.

I see no reason why this game won't see a release on the Nintendo Switch. I have a feeling that this will be announced during the next Nintendo Direct.

The Pikachu amiibo has to be the absolute worst one. It just looks so cheap compared to the others. Like something you would get from a coin vending machine at a local laundromat.

I really, really want to like this game. I really want to believe the score. But I don't know. After watching some gameplay this morning, I found myself bored out of my mind. Maybe I need to watch a different video.

@Silly_G I want it now. I bought my wife the Animal Crossing 3DS when it released and I'm still jealous to this day.

Very tempting but I will hold off for the eventual (God willing) Animal Crossing bundle. I have made the mistake in the past with owning only one console and one copy of the game (Gamecube and Wii) and will not make that mistake again with the Switch. Resolved that problem real quick with the 3DS and Animal Crossing. The arguing and complaining got so bad that I eventually bought a 3DS and a copy of Animal Crossing (both of them) for the wife and the kids.

I think the original DMC trilogy has a chance of seeing a release on the Switch but it depends on how well Onimusha sells.

I was about to buy this and then noticed that I actually own a copy on PC. I really need to check my Humble Bundle monthly subscription and Twitch Prime more often.

I can't believe I clicked on this article. The seal meant that the game would work. That's all it meant. Lots of garbage games wore that seal like a badge of honor and it meant absolutely nothing other than if you placed it in your NES and turned on the power, the game would work.

@Ogbert I wasn't trying to pick a fight. Just pointing out facts (whether their are facts or opinions is debatable). I absolutely love the Wii U. True story. One of the main reasons why I bought a Wii U was because of an article that Game Informer ran about the Wii U version of Aliens Colonial Marines (that we now know NEVER even existed) and how it was the definitive version because of the Gamepad being used to track xenomorphs in real time. I canceled my subscription shortly after the truth came out and I do my very best NOT to give Gamestop any of my money since they own Gameinformer.

@KIRO Same here. If you haven't played Kingdoms of Amalur I highly recommend you do. It's as close to Fable 4 as we're ever going to get and it was in my opinion a much better game than the Fable games.

@Ogbert The only misstep with the Wii U was Nintendo's SILLY branding, marketing and lack of support on their end. Every Nintendo Direct would include 10 times more game announcements for the 3DS than the Wii U. They knew they MESSED up with the name Wii U and how they marketed the system (people thought it was an upgrade for the Wii) and that their was no going back. So they gave up on it and focused on the 3DS instead. And then third parties dropped support, most didn't even bother and the system died. The end. System was fantastic though and had potential but unfortunately Nintendo failed to realize that potential.

I would love to see a new Fable game but unfortunately Microsoft owns the rights and has no intention of continuing the franchise in any meaningful way. Would be nice if Peter created an action RPG similar to Fable and Kingdoms of Amalur. Take my money!

If this gets fixed with a patch, I would strongly reconsider but without it this game is a definitive pass. Who the hell wants to play a Metroidvania game with zero guidance? I have better things to do with my life than to walk around a game lost.

It's coming. It will release just in time for the holiday's this year for either $200 or $250 with a game.

@Aneira I guess so. If almost every game is going to get an 8 which according to this website means the game is "great", then I guess they should start using decimals as well. Which I personally can't stand. For example, giving a game an 8 or an 8.5. Seriously? You were that torn that you couldn't decide whether the game deserved an 8 (great) or a 9 (must buy) so you took the cowardly route and gave it an 8.5. That's just my personal view on ratings systems that use decimals.

The Switch Mini isn't for me since I already own a Switch and prefer the ability of using it as a console and a handheld. In my opinion, Nintendo needs to make and market a handheld Switch in the same manner they did with the 2DS. Make a Switch that is more durable and has a better battery life for $200 (or less if possible) and I can see myself buying one or two of them for my kids.

I haven't played one of these games in years but I recall the earlier Modern Combat games being pretty good, especially when compared to what was being released on mobile at the time. With that being said, this can be a good thing. If you think that Activision won't be paying attention to this games sales, you are sadly mistaken. I hope this does well enough for Activision to realize that they made a HUGE mistake not putting out a COD game on the Switch.

Wargroove is tempting (I haven't read anything negative to date) but my back catalog is immense. I'll add it to my wishlist and grab it later.
