I never understood why Nintendo doesn't just release demos on the eShop, like, normal people would.

They should put GX on the eShop with online play to generate interest and hype within the series before the new Wii U game comes out.

Actually, I just wanna play GX against real people and not the relentless CPUS.

Huh. While I think Pokemon deserved NOT to make the list (the game played it way too safe and was very boring IMO) , Tomodachi Life shouldn't be in the top 3. Put Bravely Default as #3 and I agree. I'd rather have Smash as GOTY, but I respect all opinions and this was a very good list.

I know graphics isn't everything and all that, but I hope Nintendo can make a system at least somewhat comparable to the next Sony and Microsoft systems so that it will be easier to get third party games. And so that they won't be butchered when we get them.

Well, I found my 3 in a BestBuy in the boonies. And they were $10 each with GCU.

Next up is Captain Falcon, Pit, and Shulk.

@LunaticPandora Yes I do. Put together two of my favorite developers with excellent track records and I want whatever game they're putting out. I can trust that it will be something worth playing, even without seeing anyone it. I'll be the judge if it's good or not, thank you.

@WaLzgi As salty as I am about not getting a steelbook case and better CN rewards, you're right. People seem to forget that Europe got shafted earlier on to the point of not even receiving games at all.

Yeah... 8GB, or even 32 was never a good idea. You should be able to buy at least a few downloadable games without having to shovel out more money for a hard drive.

Going against multiplatform giants like FIFA and Destiny, Smash is doing great on only one system. Not knocking other games, but that's pretty impressive. We just need a steady stream of quality games to keep it going.

Sounds like 8 Player Smash could ruin many friendships at one time.

Aww... I thought the title of the article was a pun about the game getting a case, or a physical release in other words.

It would be nice if the Wii U could match those numbers. Anyone on the fence about a handheld Smash, I can confirm that it is awesome and worth every penny.

@Mega719 It doesn't warrant alienating 30,000,000+ 3DS owners, it's just not good business sense in my opinion. If a game isn't possible on current hardware, Nintendo should do what they have in the past (ex. Star Fox 64) and wait till the next generation of consoles, instead of making yearly releases like a phone company.

Although I'm not on board with the whole new 3DS thing, I'll probably end up buying one anyway XD

I sincerely hope these numbers get better, Nintendo needs to push this game. Hopefully in the future when more Wii Us are purchased, this game will keep steady sales.

@Link506 Great minds think alike, my friend. But that's my main problem with the New 3DS; they're alienating over 30 million 3DS users by making exclusive games for it. The DSi only had mediocre downloadable titles in my opinion, but the N3DS has Xenoblade on it, and probably more to come. I'd be fine if it was just an extra circle pad and NFC features, but it's not.

Still not on board with this revision thing. These new 3DS models come out as often as cell phones. Why they can't keep one system in the generation like most consoles I'll never know why.

Also, whoever's in charge of naming consoles should be fired.

Before anyone accuses Nintendo of Day 1 DLC or whatever, remember this game has been out in Japan for almost two years now, they've already has things up and running by the time we get the game.

It was kinda weird for me. I didn't receive any codes despite qualifying. I shot them an email, and I got an automated response saying that many people are asking us this, blah blah wait till next week. Low and behold, my codes arrived this morning. I squealed like a little girl.

Looks great, but I'd prefer a traditional AA game with Phoenix. I'd even take Athena Cykes: AA.

Can we just do WiFi for pretty much every event? I couldn't do the last event with. Heracross because the employee was so sure that I had to preorder ORAS in order to get a code, I had already preordered it elsewhere.

@AkDeath This. This game is my definitive Golf game, too bad the one on 3DS isn't like this. If you're on the edge, this game gets my highest recommendation.

@Imagamerboi Well, that one came with a strategy guide and a soundtrack CD. A copy without those goes for about $20.

Lmao at peeps against DLC. Clearly if this was on-disc DLC, those hackers we heard about would have easily found it. Chill out, their extending the longevity of the game. As long as it's not like microtransactions, we're golden.

@CaviarMeths It hurts to say that I agree with this guy. I have a hard time buying a Sonic game nowadays when the chance of the game being good is like flipping a coin.

@jrob23 Wait, Wii U didn't have enough launch titles? Was 23 solid first and third party outings not good enough? We have reason enough to hold through with Iwata, he's been at the helm with both of Nintendo's best selling console and handheld. Slow starts don't mean bad finishes, look at the PS3 and 3DS.

@Unca_Lz I know what you mean. The REAL entitled ones are those who expect Iwata to come massage your feet and feed you cereal. Sure, I wanted a physical item, but I downloaded Earthbound and I'm really enjoying it. I just feel bad for those who own most or all of those games and got screwed over. e-Shop credit would make the ideal gift next year, if they've gotta go digital.
