I smell an unhealthy amount of damage control in these comments. Yeah, we understand it's free. Who doesn't? We're used to having better items, and now we're disappointed. Catch that? Not entitled, disappointed. Nintendo surely wouldn't be doing this for free if it didn't have a benefit for themselves, which is our opinions on games. Time really is money, and that's why we're getting items in return. Some people just don't get it and will continue to defend Club Nintendo's decisions :/

I like me some swordsman. Anyways, do people see the NEW in the title? No returners in this trailer according to the title. So no Falcon or Snake.

Orchestrate all of Gen 5. That is probably my favorite Pokemon soundtrack, perhaps tied with Gen 3. This is great news! Hopefully they release a soundtrack CD with the Hoenn remakes like they did with Skyward Sword.

It's cool how the developers can be silly during serious moments. It reminds me of Alan Wake when you can repeatedly yell someone's name during a death scene. It was hilarious.

Sucks to be you, @unrandomsam. I knew some Nintendo fans were against DLC, but you sell your game for free DLC you don't even have to download? That's overboard, even if it looks "too realistic".

Please, PLEASE tell us how much these cost. The anticipation is killing me. I really hope they are less than $10 bucks per figure, or I may just get what I want and leave. This makes me want Chrom even more....

Also, they should bundle a Mario Amiibo with every copy of Smash.

That being said, I'm really happy for this sales spike, and I hope it sells even better in other regions.

@CaviarMeths Wait what? Not a Final Fantasy fan, but 5 million is abysmal? And KH isn't a niche series, KH 2 sold 4 million. Not everything has to sell like Mario and COD to be successful.

@HappyMaskedGuy Not to sound like a jerk, but if you played MW2, you'd know the airport massacre was pretty important to the story. The scene was no different than many other rated R movies out there. I'm not saying COD is the best game out there, but don't judge a game before you play it.

@brewsky This. Its just not fair to give it to those who are near NYC, and screw over the other 75% of the country who can't get it easily. I know I can order it online, but I shouldn't have to. This, or make more Nintendo World stores, which is a good idea.

@Guitardude7 This explains how I feel EXACTLY. I try to limit myself (it gets hard with all these great games coming out) but these damned figurines are about to come in and wreck my wallet and social life.

@JaxonH Have you owned a GameCube before? It had amazing 3rd Party support, especially compared to the Wii and Wii U.

@Hy8ogen That's viewed as a deragatory term to people of Japanese heritage. I know it was an accident, but you should refrain from using that word. It could mean trouble in places other than Nintendo Life.

Missed opportunity to take advantage of the NFC on the GamePad. I know it's a cheap McDonald's toy, but that would still be pretty cool.

@Marre35 Wii Us aren't selling due to small memory that can easily be expanded with hard drive/ SD Cards? May I point you to the Wii, which had half a gigabyte of memory and sold a hundred million units?

@TreesenHauser I have it, and its a good little minigame. It has the depth of your average 99 cent mobile game, but its a little addicting. I'd say its not a bad deal. Make sure you have a nunchuck and Wii Remote, though.

Although I'm deep in the competitive scene, this is a great guide for beginners. Serebii is one of my choice sites for Pokemon, so this was a treat.

@LtAldoRaine I've always wondered that as well. When I hit college and get a career going, not to mention kids, it will dwindle down a lot. Hopefully I can convince my child to like gaming as much as I do now. If anything, I'll be set when I retire.

@bobbypaycheque I'm going to have to agree. Although he's got major skills to back it up, I get the arrogant vibe from him. I remember him against Salem at Apex 2013. It was a great battle, but Salem won.

@Ryno If you can find it, go for it. Very great and unique game. Gamestops around me have em for about 10 bucks complete, where I got mine.

@Hyperstar96 Those reviews are... um... Pretty crappy. I agree with you there. But it's the players' fault, not the game's fault. I don't think core gaming itself was in peril, but for the most part I agree.

Love all the hate on Flappy Bird. It's just a harmless game that some find addicting. It's like people are calling out others for liking a game they don't.

@Phantom_R I agree! Underrated game. Most should go for the eShop version though, as the physical goes for $50-$60+ to buy. I got mine on clearance for about $10 about a year ago.

@BlatantlyHeroic I thought it was going to be tough, like catching Rayquaza in Emerald, so I threw a Master Ball to save myself the trouble- then I hear all my friends caught ''em on the first tries and everything. I've still got that bad feeling from that.

See, this is the problem I had with 2013. Nintendo releases too many good titles for me to keep up with. We haven't even had E3 or any Nintendo Directs and I know 2014 is gonna have some amazing games. This is a good thing, though

I started on this site earlier this year, and I still can't even remember how. It was a fateful encounter on whatever day in 2013 I first visited. Not a day has passed when I haven't woken up, and looked at Nintendo Life for the day's news, even before reaching full consciousness. You group here have my full support.

Anyways, my GOTY is Fire Emblem. Super Mario 3D World was close, as was ALBW, but FE just has so much charm.
