Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Nintendo Direct At E3 2021?

Nassov

Average at best. Metroid was a nice surprise, but it looked like it was still in its early development. And WarioWare was a pleasant surprise as well. Zelda was known and the trailer didn't add a lot of new information, we could've guessed from the first trailer that it would go skybound (Hyrule castle lifting up).
Other than that, a lot of remakes and releases of games that have already been playable on other systems for many years

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 12.0.2 Is Now Live

Nassov

I'm sorry, but I'm getting kind of tired of these cryptic system updates. Don't we have a right as an owner / consumer of their products to know what is actually being altered / updated? The fact that we have to get this info from a third party is frankly bullsh*t

Re: Class Action Lawsuit Officially Filed Against Nintendo For Switch Joy-Con "Drifting" Issues

Nassov

I've always considerd myself to be neat and someone who takes good care of his wares, but my left Joy-Con started drifting after like a year, just after my warranty expired... I haven't had my Switch undocked or the Joy-Cons removed since, because it's such a nuisance when you mostly play platformers and FPS games. Heck, even selecting something in a menu becomes impossible.
I've read about so many complaints and even some my friends who own it have the same issues.
I've always trusted Nintendo to deliver good products, but the Switch (eventhough it's a great system) feels a bit cheap and fragile.
I hope this lawsuit pays off and that people who have the issue can return their Joy-Cons to Nintendo for free.

Re: Bill Trinen Discusses Smash Bros. Invitational 2018, Won’t Disclose Whether It’s A Port Or New Game

Nassov

@Yoshi Just because they're going all in and making it the spotlight, doesn't guarantee that it's 'more than just a port'. Remember how they went all in with Wii Music?

It's definitely going to be a port. So many evidence points towards it. The font of the title, the style of the trailer (very similar to the Wii U), the timing of the game. The fact that Masahiro Sakurai was/is tired of creating Smash.

Re: Editorial: Cheer Up, There Are Some Exciting Games on the Way

Nassov

Sure, there are some great games on the way. But PR-wise, Nintendo failed again... miserably.

It's like they still don't realise what E3 is really about. You need to wow the crowd. The problem is... Nintendo doesn't think they have to. Or even worse, they think they have wow'ed the crowd.

Re: First Impressions: Our Maiden Flight In Star Fox Zero Prompts Mixed Emotions

Nassov

And they want to release this in December 2015, right? I bet 10 euros they will broadcast an apology / postpone video in the next 3 - 4 months...

They should've let Factor 5 (Rogue Squadron developer) veterans work on the new Star Fox. Imagine epic battles / dog fights with an even grander scale than the Battle of Endor in Rogue Squadron II.

So far this E3 has been a complete disaster for Nintendo.

Re: Metroid Prime Producer Wants to Make Another Sequel With Samus, "Not Involved" in 2D Titles By Yoshio Sakamoto

Nassov

Sure this game can turn out to be fun, perhaps even great. But the thing we got to see in that trailer... What the bloody hell was that? There were so many things going on, so many conflicting colours. Such a mess. They rammed into the presentation like it was a last-minute hassle. If only they'd worked longer/better on their presentation, perhaps people would've been more enthusiastic.
