The Great Ace Attorney, which takes us to 19th Century England and teams our hero up with an interesting version of Sherlock Holmes, is rather close to release in Japan - it arrives on 9th July in the country.
As regular readers will also know we rather like 3DS HOME Themes, and it's perhaps no surprise that Capcom has showed off four themes that will be released on the same date as the game.
These are some of the neater themes we've seen; unfortunately we'll likely wait a while to see them in the West. Unfortunately Capcom didn't use its E3 announcements to confirm localisation details for this title, though as it's not quite out in Japan we may just have a little longer to wait.
Are you eagerly awaiting The Great Ace Attorney localisation news?

Aww man I just bought some stuff off of play-asia too....would have bought an eshop card if I'd known they were going to do this.
Capcom... Just give us the first AA themes. I would buy at least the pixel sprite one.
It seems that the Wii U was not really a part of E3 this year... many games we already know about were either not mentioned or not given a definitive release date. Strange E3 for Nintendo...
If by some chance the game doesn't get a localisation, even if it's just an eShop release, I'll be crushed. It seems even easier to localize than the other titles, too, since they don't need to pretend anymore that the characters are not in Japan.
Oh, as for the home themes... they're sweet, but I don't really buy these things.
Those themes would be nice if they were free.
Wow, I hope the English versions don't come with the voices. Dear God they're annoying O_o
The themes are alright but it would be even nicer for The Great Ace Attorney to venture West I don't mind eshop-only releases, just give me the game!
Beyond their "excellent" E3 performance (), I also feel Nintendo really dropped the ball in terms of 3DS themes during the expo. (Well, they've been lackluster in delivering themes at a steady pace before E3, honestly.) I would've thought they'd deliver themes for SMB 30th, E3, etc. Themes are extremely simple: they're essentially wallpapers and that's it. Maybe at a couple bucks a pop, they're more concerned with amiibo (ugh) at $12-15 a pop... Visiting the PS Store, there are scores of themes and new ones always on the way (and probably the same for Xbox but since I don't have one I can't say for sure). Hmmm... Oh well, I guess. (smh...)
Please Capcom, bring the game to the west. I don't care if it's eShop only, we need this game.
I'd pick this game instantly if it came to the west. Those home themes are also looking great. I'd be tempted to buy the 2nd theme.
I just really haven't been able to get excited about this game at all. I'm really over this crush pop culture has had on Sherlock Holmes the past several years.
@LoveSugoi But...But...it is gyakuten saiban! Who cares about sherlock....it is all about the CASES and TRIALS! and the MELTDOWN!...Not mine obviously.
Don't forget the Gyakuten Kenji (Ace Attorney: Investigation) 2 was not localized yet and probably will not forever. I doubt if this game will get localized. Don't forget that while Naruhodou Ryuuichi is a Japanese, Phoenix Wright is an American.
