I'd love another open-world Zelda, but I'd like more traditional dungeon structure. Preferably similar to how ALBW did it where you can go to them in any order.
@SamiCetinSMK I mean... you said part of it yourself, better visuals, more tracks, obviously those are good, but there's also more characters to play as, more options when it comes to kart customization, better music, it controls better, online functionality... those things are all MAJOR progress from a game made in 1992, thus making an objectively better game. Whether or not it's SUBJECTIVELY better is of course up for debate, but regarding all of those things, Mario Kart has come a long way.
I legitimately do believe that quite a few SNES games hold up to today's standards. Yoshi's Island for example still looks and plays great today. But Super Mario Kart? Sure, the pixel art on the racers still looks moderately okay, but the physics? The weird pseudo-3D tracks? The games have come such a long way since then that while it subjectively holds up under the light of nostalgia to some, it really doesn't to someone who didn't play it back in the day (like myself).
If a SNES game is the best racing game ever made, the industry has made zero progress since 1992.
The correct terminology would be that SMK is their favorite racing game. There are objectively better racing games than this one, so it's absolutely not the best one ever made. That's ridiculous.
@AlexSora89 Well, I'm not gonna deny that the built-in controls are sweet for things like emulators, but I don't really recall the screen being that great. It's not even HD.
Argh, I wasn't able to find all 6 of the previous set (I'll have to order the last 2 online at some point, before they get rare and expensive). I'll probably pick these up if I can find them.
@AyeHaley The PS4 doesn't have enough exclusive games I'm actually interested in playing. In fact, the only one I'm half-interested in is Ratchet and Clank. Whereas, the Xbox One has exclusives like Rare Replay or Ori and the Blind Forest going for it.
However, I'm not about to get into an internet debate about which one is better because they both have their pros and cons. I just know which one I personally prefer and I doubt that opinion will be swayed by anything.
Phil Spencer's got a good head on his shoulders. A lot of people like to demonize Microsoft for the stuff that guy before him said, but Phil's fixed most of that IMO. Were I in the market for a current-gen console right now, I'd be getting the Xbox One for sure. (Well, after the Wii U of course.)
After Sticker Star being rather mediocre and apparently Dream Team wasn't good (still haven't played it), I have high hopes, but low expectations for this.

I still really don't want this to be a real thing.

Does this mean that the kickstand will work better?
Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Says Services Like Netflix and Hulu "Will Come In Time" To Nintendo Switch
Do people actually use web browsers on game consoles? They suck terribly.
Also when the Switch does inevitably get one, it should be called the Web Bowser.
Re: Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap Will Hit The Nintendo Switch On 18th April
I'd never heard of this game before the remake was announced, but it looks fun. I'll be picking it up for sure!

@AlexSora89 Dude, that phone is like 837 years old by this point.
Re: Random: Of Course You Can't Fit The Nintendo Switch In Your Pocket
Just take the joy-cons off, the tablet part should easily be able to slip into a pocket.
Of course that does beg the question of where to keep the joy-cons, but y'know.
Re: Nintendo Treehouse to Provide 'In-Depth Look' at Nintendo Switch Games on 13th January
Oh boy will I be torn between AGDQ and this. >~<
Of course I'll probably be at work half the day anyway, but that's beside the point.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Broadcast Time for January Switch Event
I was all set to sign off from working that day so I could watch it live, but I guess I don't need to now. Nintendo, you're weird sometimes.

Re: Japan Is Getting A Yellow And White 2DS This December
As long as they keep the firmware nice and stable, I don't care what color it is. xD
Re: 3DS System Version 11.2.0-35 is Now Live
Just when I thought the console couldn't get any more stable, they continue surprising me.
Tbh they should build everything with 3DSes at this point so nothing collapses.

Re: Microsoft Blocks NESBox Emulator On Xbox One
The only thing surprising about this is that Microsoft did it before Nintendo did.
Re: Review: Tadpole Treble (Wii U eShop)
I've bought this game four times. Twice for me on Steam and Wii U, and twice for friends. Worth it.

I highly recommend Tadpole Treble. I played the Steam version and it's a lot of fun. May or may not end up buying it again for Wii U. We'll see. xD

Yes!! The game we've all been wanting!!
Witch and Hero 2! I'm so excited!
(cough cough sarcasm cough)
Re: Paper Mario Colour Splash Coming to Wii U
I am... so concerned about this. The battle system looks almost exactly like Sticker Star. Did they learn nothing?
Re: Nnooo Announces Legend of Kusakari for the 3DS eShop
That is somehow worse than Yoshi's New Island's kazoos. Jeez.
Re: Another 17 Games Get North American eShop Discounts in the Winter Warm-Up Sale
I picked up Wario Land 3, but with my massive backlog, who knows when I'll find time to actually play it.
