Oh my goodness, I need all of them! :3 Seriously, I've always wanted a model of adult Link from Ocarina of Time (my favourite design of Link) and at last we have it! I just hope they're stocked well enough.

What's funny is that a video of unboxing the toys-to-life figures would be longer than a video of showing the toys coming to life in game.

I was in a Target that had 3 of those yesterday, just missing 8 bit Link, and several cool Jakks Pacific figures.

Not a chance. I require (want) one Link per Amiibo and Toon Link still holds true, same as Dr.Mario is my pick with this character. Buying into all variations of one character is a dangerous path.

My OoT Link came in the mail today! It's very detailed, and overall I'm very pleased with it.

Loved the video, though the shooting gallery theme admittedly annoys me after a little while.

Can't wait to get a closer look at Metroid's 30th Anniversary amiibo.

I wasn't tempted to get the wind Waker two pack but bought a game instead. The 8-bit Link is quite big though.

I thought you were going to lose some fingers with your knife. I had to explain to my 5 year old daughter, watching with me, that sometimes adults make unwise choices and she can't mimic what she saw in the video.

All I needed was the 8 bit Link to go next to my 8 bit, brown sleeved, 30th anniversary Mario, and I couldn't be any happier. They now guard my TV fiercely.

Too bad we didn't have Amiibo's when DK's 30th anniversary passed. I'd love to complete the "Miyamoto trio"

A bit late, I've had mine for over a week now.

I have all the Zelda series amiibo. I even had to import wolf link. I preordered all these new ones from Japan but sadly has no shopped yet. Also waiting on my display case.

I got the 8 bit link just now but now they I see the squid and go see if Best Buy has it I never got a chance to get the trifecta the first time around..

Got mine last Monday from the GameStop I buy 95% of my gamer needs from. Usually they arrive a day before release and since "they don't have a release date" I can take them with me once they arrive. But the mail man just didn't come that day and I couldn't be bothered driving all the way into town on my free day. Anyway, I naturally love Toon-Zelda and Toon-Link - Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda - OoT Link looks great, too. What annoys me about 8-bit Link, though, is that the downside of his mouth isn't the color of his mouth but of his skin. Takes me out of the experience a bit.

@arrmixer The US never got the squid amiibo separtley as far as I know. That pic I took is just a toy. I recently bought the re-skinned boy and girl inkling b/c they were about $4 each clearance at Target. I've been using them to do the challenges in Splatoon.

Usual stupid Nintendo stuff I think, US only gets the bundle, UK gets them individually. I still don't have a squid amiibo b/c I have never seen that by itself in the US. And I've still only seen wolf link amiibo in the game bundle.

Just watched the 1st episode of Westworld w/ my wife. Probably not you're thing but it was even better the 2nd time I watched it. 9 more to go as we avoid all the online spoilers. Going to go play Bayonetta 2 now, trying to get it done this weekend so I can start focusing on the holidays.

Maybe Wolf Link will come out w/ Cloud and Bayonetta and all be playable skins in Darksiders? Have you played Bayonetta 2? About 3/4 done and I honestly would not have believed Wii U was capable of those graphics if I hadn't see them w/ my own eyes. So so good. Hyrule Warriors and XCX were great, but Bayonetta 2 is a whole other level. I'm pretty sure a PS4 port wouldn't be noticeably different. No need.

Does anyone know 100% for sure yet if the Toon Link amiibo here reads as Toon Link in Smash?

He mentioned to look it up online but I never have been able to find anything clear on if it reads as Toon Link or Regular Link.

Do these work in Hyrule Warriors? If so, what do they do? In other words, do all the Link variations give the same weapon for the same Link or do they give weapons for separate Links, etc?

I just need the OoT Link one to stand beside Shiek on the shelf with all my versions of OoT

I was in Target today and saw Windows 10 in a small box on USB. I'm assuming there was some type of thumbdrive in the box, but I had never seen that before. Probably been doing it for years but it's news to me.

Anyway my point was if Win 10 can do it, how long before games start coming that way? Switch carts may lead the way. And I'm still waiting for toys-to-life to have built in thumbdrives. Yoshi Wooly World, Chibi Robo on 3DS, TP HD. If you are going to ship a toy w/ the game why not put the game on the toy w/ a slide out port? XCX special edition came w/ a few tunes on a cool thumbdrive, they could have put the game on there too.

@Captain_Gonru I vaguely recall you getting an X1, and I vaguely recall about 8 years ago when Xbox got FF and it broke my brain. I still can't comprehend it.

If you still have 2 episodes to watch from that 4 ep crossover there are still another weeks worth of shows for you to watch before the mid-season break. Well maybe not all 4, but Arrow and Flash.

I wish I could have slept in until past noon, but things to do. I have to transfer my families accounts from PS3 to PS4, but I can't remember any of the passwords. And I set them all up in foreign countries to gt all the demos foreign countries used to get but now I feel like giivng them US accounts so they can buy stuff bu then they'll lose all their trophies. So it's early and I'm pre-caffiene trying to figure out what I've done and how to best undo it.

And finally this morning I have to hook up my sons NES Mini, but I don't know how. His PC monitor only has 1 HDMI in port and nothing else, I think his PC has HDMI and VGA out, and his 32" 720p HD TV only has DVI and VGA. Which is why it's in his room, I gave it to him when we got a 39" 1080p for our bedroom. So I might try to talk him into buying himself a new tv for his bedroom. He's 14 and has about $350 cash in his wallet, he can spend $150 on a cheap TV.

So the 3 days of Christmas stress is over, now I have to figure it all out. And the PS4 is weird getting used to the menu too. Man I'm tired.

Were the Legends even in it? It was the Oliver & Barry bromance hour. OK, I suppose White Canary is a Legend, but Rip didn't even make an appearance. Works for me of course.

Thinking about buying a $1 female coupler, leaving that on a short cable on the monitor, then PC and NES Mini can keep their own cables. Guess I'll have to see what my kid wants to do, how much he thinks he'll be using each 1, what he wants to spend. $10 for a switch isn't bad either. I just went thru all my old PC cards and considered sticking one in his 5 month old PC but the on board cheapie graphics are just as good, and don't require a 400 watt power supply, his PC only has 300 watts.

Ah look, the sun came out, that's nice, maybe we'll go outside for 15 minutes and shoot some hoops, all of this electronics stuff is starting to give me a headache.

The thing about going back in time was Cisco did everything, even the guilt trip afterwards, so unless he's on Legend snow, I still say it was more about Arrow and Flash than Legends.

Watched the anime Brotherhood film, not bad. Will probably get to the feature film on Thursday and game not until Sunday or Monday. Still haven't started Uncharted 4 either, my wife said we have to watch the last 4 episodes of Westworld first, which makes sense. She's going clothes shopping all day tomorrow, I'll be napping as much as possible while the boys play on the NES Mini. Friday night her dad and his wife are coming over for Hannukah dinner so we'll be busy all day cooking and cleaning. Saturday night we're going to a new years' Eve party at 6. I need a vacation from this week's vacation.

So you go ahead and start FFXV, I'll catch up. Once I start it will be 2 hours a night every night except Fridays when my kid has basketball. Should finish the man story just before the Superbowl, then I hear tons of monster hunts after.

Did I show you my pick? The guide came w/ a 25x35 poster map. If it was 24x35 I'd frame it. Still working that part out.

I like that, reminds me of comics I used to read in the 70's. JSA should be enough of a hook. Couldn't be any worse than Legends. I guess the hardest part would actually be behind the scenes w/ agents working out salaries for appearances on a 2nd show for the regulars on Arrow and Flash. And I like your idea of Felicity and Cisco setting up shop together, a hacker overlord/underground where they monitor trouble worldwide and call in who they need. I think Challenge of the Superfriends used to work that way, focusing on different characters in different episodes. Had Cisco not made up w/ Barry him and Felicity both had reasons to leave and form their own team. Plus w/ Cisco's worm hole powers they can bring on whoever they want. Maybe transfer the generator from Starlabs, I've had enough HRs.

Guess we'll see, I can't imagine Legends getting renewed if as you say it's worse than last year, last year was a horrible mess.
