It's really sad about Mega Man 9. Best game on WiiWare bar none!

Finally, it's here! Between getting Kirby's Dream Land 3 last week and now Castlevania 3 this week, 2009 is already shaping up to be much better than 2008. I don't mind 1 game weeks as long as they are quality games, not utter garbage like Enduro Racer and Boogerman. Well done, Nintendo, although why did Castlevania 3 take so long to come to America?

Wouldn't count on it, LOL! But all kidding aside, who really cares? I would prefer something nice for a change like getting 3 or 4 games on Monday. Not likely though.

Besides Bass, why are you getting so excited that you are now only 2 games behind America? Two weeks ago, you were also 2 games behind America after the Christmas update, so nothing has changed.

We could just use the Wii Remote and point at the screen to shoot the ducks. Who cares if it isn't the same as the zapper, it's still Duck Hunt! I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, but Operation Wolf came out and didn't that only use the NES Zapper? If so, then Duck Hunt still has chance.

Sadly, I know I'm right because Nintendo are going to give us only 1 game a week. That's their new sh*tty standard. The U.S. is only going to get 1 game a week, and Europe will only get 2, every 2 weeks. I hope I'm wrong and we get at least 2 Monday instead of more shovelware, but I won't be surprised if we get 1 game. As long as Castlevania 3 is one of them!

Good list. Although the games I want the most are Castlevania 3 and Super Smash Bros.

Well, since I only downloaded 2 WiiWare games in 2008 (Mega Man 9 and Dr. Mario), I couldn't make a Top 5 list even if I tried. I'd rather have more VC games each week and less WiiWare shovelware games.

In all, I think this was a pretty bad year for the VC compared to 2007. I only downloaded 3 VC games in 2008 (Kirby 64, Mario RPG, and Mario Golf), verses 11 downloaded in 2007. Hope 2009 is better, start by giving us Castlevania 3 on Monday.

Here's my Top 10 list, although almost all of them probably won't ever come out. As long as half of then ever came out, I'd be happy.

At least this week is better than last weeks pile of garbage, but I don't like RPG's so I won't bother downloading it. Why can't Nintendo just give us Castlevania 3? Is that so hard!

Hey Bass great idea. We'll give you guys in Europe Mario Golf and Secret of Mana if you guys give us Castlevania 3 and Phantasy Star 4. Not that Nintendo would ever do that, I expect a big lump of coal next week for Christmas.

Another great choice Nintendo. I tell you, the guy who picks the VC games every week should be promoted! I mean come on, there is an awful game that could be given to us like say Castlevania 3, but instead he gives a real gem like Enduro Racer instead! (sarcasam). Nintendo is run by a bunch of idiots.

I take offense to you saying "evil North America". Remember it was North America who saved Europe's butts not once but twice during both World Wars. If it wasn't for North America, the Nazis would still be around. By the way, most PAL gamers on this site are as much whiners as anyone in North America eventhough they think they are superior and deserve more games than America each week.

Why are you so obsessed with passing America? If I recall, last year you guys were close to surpassing America at one point and then all of a sudden we started to get 3 plus games per week and Europe barely got 1 a week. I hope that happens again!

Right on, Manicfatty! These 1 game release weeks blow huge chunks. Boogerman...where the hell did Nintendo pull that piece of crap from? Anyway, Manicfatty you are correct. Every week we get people who complain about how bad the VC releases have been lately (Mega Man 3 is the lone exception), and right on cue, we always get some holier than thou loser defending Nintendo.

Who would buy this when Sonic 2 from the Genesis is available on the VC. Another f*ing lost week. I wish they would stop giving us all this WiiWare crap and start giving us better VC games. Sadly, I have a bad feeling that 1 game weeks are the norm now. Nintendo are such idiots!

I knew we wouldn't get anything good today. The game itself is good, but the slowdown really ruins the experience. I just hope people don't "impulse" buy just because they didn't get the game they want. We had such lousy updates during the summer and sadly it seems to be like that again. Maybe if enough people ignore these garbage releases (Mega Man 3 being the exception), then maybe we will get something good for once.

Well, I did manage to get rid of the 300 points in my Wii Account by purchasing the Endless Mode for Mega Man 9. That's a positive. I've had that 300 points in there for over a year. I just want Castlevania 3 though. I love that game. Oh well, I'm going to play Endless Attack later, and then I'll play Majora's Mask on my Collector's Edition disk.

Wow, yet again myself and other people state their opinion, and some holier than thou loser has to defend Nintendo because a few people complained about their crappy VC release. Releasing one game is a stupid marketing stratergy for the reasons I listened before.

I don't need to re-evaluate what I said. It makes sense. Nintendo are the idiots who keep giving us 1 game weeks. It's likely to piss people off so much that they won't even give a game like Boogerman a chance. I bet Boogerman would sell better if there was another game along with it.

GodsUncle, people have a right to complain. This is a video game blog basically and people complain on those. If you don't like people complaining each week than just ignore them.

Honestly, I think Nintendo are idiots for just putting 1 game up. If they put Boogerman up with another game then maybe people would give it a chance, but everyone here gets really pissed off when we get only 1 game, that they won't even give Boogerman a chance because they are so pissed. I feel that way.

Anyway, I thought that the VC had turned a corner after all of the great releases in September and October, but sadly, it looks like it is reverting back to the sh*tty releases that we got during the summer, with our 1 game Neo Geo fighter weeks.

Another one game week. I'm pissed! I own the MMAC so there is no need to buy Mega Man 3. Damn it, I wanted Castlevania 3 today. On a side note, Mega Man 3 is an awesome game, so to those that have never played it, buy it today.

Why do that have to release this piece of garbage when they could have given us Castlevania 3? I'm sure tons of people are going to download Space Harrier instead of Castlevania 3. Smooth move Nintendo!

I find it interesting how so many PAL owners are complaining this week. A few months ago when the U.S. was getting garbage and people were complaining, all of you guys in Europe were telling us to stop complaining and be patient.

No thanks. Dynamite Headdy doesn't look interesting at all. Besides I didn't like Sin & Punishment, and Gunstar Heroes was just okay. Contra 3 is so much better.

I'm not going to lie, if you never played a MM game before it's going to be hard. However, it's hard only because of the traps and spikes in each stage. The fact that you can buy tons of E-tanks all for just 30 screws each makes beating any boss in the game a chinch. The traps are tough to get around for you the first time you get to them, but like the Contra series and any other MM game, just keep practicing and you will get by them. If you beat Super Mario Bros. then I think you can handle MM9. Go for it, you won't regret it!

Hell no, MM9 isn't the first MM game I have beaten. I would put it's difficulty around the original, but a little harder only because of more traps and spikes per stage. I still say the X series is harder.

Mega Man 9 is simply epic. I mean, you're in Wily's stage. You see 3 1ups. You think it's to good too be true! It is, 2 of them are Mets that look like 1ups. In most games that would be really annoying, but in the Mega Man world it works. I finally beat it last night, and although it was hard it only took me 2 hours. I'd love to plow threw it again, but I got Super Mario RPG and Wario Land: Shake It to beat first. Anyway, it sounds and looks like Protoman will be much harder of a character to use, but bring on the challenge. Glad to see that Protoman's whistle is included before each stage.

Well, that really sucks. It was a Nintendo game to begin with.

Finally, I've waited so long for this to come out. Nintendo better not be giving us some other piece of crap instead at the last minute. Plus, we get it before PS3 and 360!
