I'm calling it a big useless paperweight and I stand by my statement. Yes the system is cheaper now, but $600 when it came out was a joke. Compared to the PS2, the PS3 is a giant paperweight. And before you call me a fanboy, remember that I own a PS2 and a PSP.

Well seriously, come on! Everyweek we had to hear about the "Big 3" with World of Goo leading the pack. If another game gets number 1, then at least mention it.

Why is it when World of Goo was number 1 for God knows how many weeks, it was mentioned every Wednesday? However, this is the third week in a row that there is no mention of Contra: Rebirth being number 1.

I've never liked Jake Trentton. The guy is a complete arrogant moron. He did an article in EGM magazine about 4 months after the PS3 came out. The guy basically in the article rips on Nintendo and Microsoft. When the author of the article said that PS3's were not selling like Trentton thought, Jack told the author to go into any store and if they have any PS3's in stock, Jack would give him a $1000 for each one. The author then basically said you owe me $3000 since in was in a Gamestop yesterday and they had 3 in stock.

Jack thought the PS3 was a little slow out of the gate but said that within a year the PS3 would be blowing away the Wii and 360. Well, 2.5 years latter, the Wii is blowing the PS3 out of the water, and the 360 is doing better than the PS3 as well. I guess Jack can’t come to grips that the PS3 is basically a big useless paperweight.

Pretty boring update. By the way Bass X0, since you always point it out, now America is 7 games ahead of Europe.

You're still counting how many games Europe is behind North America? Why? You're not really getting closer, actually you are getting farther, since most of this year you were only 2 games behind us. Besides, it will be 7 after Monday.

Fantastic update! I've been waiting for Contra Rebirth ever since it was announced and released in Japan months ago. I will admit that I was getting a little nervous that Contra Rebirth might remain Japan exclusive because after it was released in Japan, we didn't have any news about it coming over here at all. But that is a distant memory now, it's here!

Also, while I have no interest in Super Return of the Jedi, I know a lot of people have been waiting for the 3rd Star Wars game that was announced to come out, so I'm happy for them as well.

Wow, for the first time in a very very long time, I'm looking forward to Monday. It would be even better if we got SSB as well, but at least Contra: Rebirth will finally be out. I was starting to fear that it was one of those Japan only games.

Also, Castlevania: Rebirth is a great idea, to whoever said it before in an earlier post.

The Nyxquest or Icarian, whatever it's called looks good, but I hate Star Wars, so nothing for me this week. And when I say I hate Star Wars I'm talking about both the movies and the games. I just never got into Star Wars. I just wish they would release SSB already!

Sales are down because of several reasons. The recession and the fact that millions of people are out of work. The casuals and soccer moms who thought the Wii was the biggest thing in the world are likely now bored with it, which happens to every fad. The biggest thing is the software. No big name AAA titles have come out since last year. There are good games, but nothing truly big. This also could apply to the VC as well. Stop giving us no-name titles every week and start giving the big time titles like SSB, Super Mario Kart, the Mario Party games, and so on. Stop trying to please the casual crowd, because they will never support you in the long run.

I still wish Nintendo had given us SSB today. I'm on vacation this week and it would have been perfect. Overturn seems okay as does Tecmo Bowl, but who cares about a mature rated poker game. Do people seriously have no life that they get excited about this game. This is an example of shovelware pure and simple. If they want to make a poker game for WiiWare thats great, but don't put a stupid gimmick like strip poker in a game. It isn't needed.

I don't give a sh*t what Japan gets. Seriously, everyone keeps saying that poor Japan are only getting 6 games. Shoot in America we are lucky if we even get 4 a month, and it's been that way for 8 months now.

Greatest handheld of all time. The Game Boy and the NES were the video games from my childhood.

Oh come on! Yes we didn't get VC games the last 2 weeks, but the VC service is not coming to an end. Two big WiiWare titles came out today, which could be the reason why we didn't get any VC games. Or maybe we will get something big next week. Maybe Nintendo will release all of their VC games for the month on the first Monday of the month. I wouldn't mind that.

If the VC service was coming to an end, Nintendo would flood the VC with tons of games. They would never not release SSB, Super Mario Kart, Final Fantasy, etc. Why? Because those games equals profit. To those that think the VC is coming to an end; just try and not worry about it too much.

Whatever. The WiiWare games look good, but there is still no excuse for no games 2 weeks in a row. Or maybe something big is on the horizon with the VC and this is the calm before the storm, maybe? I personally don't care anymore, this doesn't surprise me one bit with Nintendo. SSB will probably be the 350th game, which will likely come in the year 2012. Whatever, when it comes it comes. I decided to play threw The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess again, so I have something to play.

The Three Musketeers: One for All! I've never heard of this game until today, but man, it looks freaking awesome! The visuals look great, and it looks like the game is injected with quite a bit of humor. I look forward to Monday for this one.

Europe wasn't anymore mature about it than we were this week, so don't paint them out to be more mature than us. They complain just as much as people in America. Why should we have to get used to it, when it likely won't continue past this week.

Yeah, I remember the first time Europe didn't get a VC game. The title of the topic was "Epic Fail", and just about every person from Europe complained about it. One guy complained and said that Europe was being treated like a bunch of used condoms. Stop acting like you guys were so much more mature than us when you were not. I have a question. Why is it everytime America gets screwed over, Bass XO is always the first one to post? To keep things even, Bass XO? What the hell does that mean. I know deep down you enjoy it when America gets screwed because you always talk about America's updates have to be even and fair compared to Europe. However, when Europe doesn't get any games, you always say it isn't fair because Europe is always getting screwed and such. You always point out how many games Europe is behind America and such. Why does it bother you so much that America has 8 more games than Europe?

You talk about being even huh? So how about this. Europe has gotten 2 games each week during the Hanabi Festival. Since you talk so much about being even, then after it's over, you guys shouldn't get any games for 4 weeks. That way 8 games in 8 weeks. That's nice and even huh? I bet you wouldn't like that one bit, so don't talk about our update today being nice and even, okay? That post you posted here and at Gamefaqs really pissed me off today. To me it seems like you are rubbing it in, especially since you made a special topic about it on Gamefaqs highlighting that we got no games.

I like my white Wii anyway. It always looks clean while my black PS2 is always dirty looking thanks to dust.

SSB, Super Mario Kart, Mario Party 1-3, TMNT 2, 3, Turtles in Time, Mario Tennis, and Duck Hunt.

Not sure if the turtle games can be considered, but hell, I love them!

Maybe people that played SSB, Melee and Brawl actually enjoy all 3 games. The game hasn't aged poorly, it's just the game is pretty bare bones compared to the other 2.

Good update, especially with 2 VC games for once. I'm still bummed about no SSB, but the games look really good. I wonder if Pulseman is a better Mega Man clone than Shockman was?

Well, I want SSB badly, I said the WiiWare games look good and I didn't complain about no SSB. Does that make me greedy because I like SSB and want to play it again?
