If Nintendo didn't make a big deal about a 250th game like they did with ours, then maybe they don't consider any of them to be the 250th. Nintendo made a big deal about the 100th game (Zelda 2) and the 250th game (SMRPG) in the U.S. but didn't make a big deal about the 150th or 200th.

Wow, you are right, Mega Man X3 is really hard. Anyway, I'm thrilled Mega Man 2 came out today. I have the Anniversary Collection so I'm not going to buy it, but it more than likely means that Mega Man 9 is coming next week!

Man these weekly Top 20 lists are so stupid. Make it a Top 10 list instead. All the topic creator does each week is complain about how some games are really high on the list and others aren't even there.

I know you haven't posted yet, but enjoy Ys 1 & 2. I know you have wanted that one for a while. Me, I'm enjoying SMRPG since I never played it before. Good update for Europe.

I prefer Gamefaqs when I want actual game info. However, anything VC related has to come from this site. Every topic on Gamefaqs is from some oaf making a topic about how Earthbound has to come out, or Nintendo isn't fair! This site has intellegent people who openly discuss about the VC, and not just complain about no Earthbound.

I know a few of you are questioning the block size, so here it is. 59 blocks for the file and 4 blocks for the save file.

About time Nintendo! I'm excited because I never owned a SNES as a kid, and there for never playyed SMRPG. Also Clu Clu Land is a pretty fun game as well.

I'll gladly trade our update with Europe from last week. I want SMRPG basically because I never had a SNES as a kid and I really want to play it. Oh well, I wasn't expecting it to come out this week anyway, still a good update though.

As much as I want to see SMRPG on Monday, I just remembered that Mario Super Sluggers is coming out this week. I can't see them giving us a big name VC game along with a big name Wii title as well in the same week. Hope I'm wrong though, LOL!

To tell you the truth, I hate RPG's except for the Paper Mario series. I hate the whole "you hit me and then I'll hit you formula". Everyone goes on and on about the Final Fantasy series, but those games are in my opinion boring. I also hate all of the Metroidvania games in the Castlevania series except for SOTN. I wish we could have a pre-IGA game from the NES or SNES era made for WiiWare. I love the 3 Paper Mario games, and I know I would love SMRPG. Please come out on Monday, no more Neo Geo games Nintendo, if for just one week.

Good to see the Lost Levels make a return for you guys; it is so stupid that Nintendo got rid of it to begin with. I pray SMRPG comes out on Monday.

Why do people say it's such a good thing that the 360 is getting the Banjo games. That means it won't be on the VC, so all Nintendo fans are out of luck. Unless your Richie Rich and own several systems, all Nintendo fans are left out in the cold. May I add that vc-reviews is a Nintendo site not a 360 site, so you guys should not post how happy you are that the 360 is getting them on a Nintendo site. It's basically a slap in the face to all of us Nintendo fans.

I think it was EGM magazine. That "Q" guy that does the rumors I think said it a few months back.

I'm surprised it took Nintendo so long to release Ecco Jr. over in Europe. Decent week for you guys.

What I meant was that if garbage games sell better than the great ones like Toki Tori and especially Mega Man 9, then those publishers won't give us gems like those anymore and we'll be left with crap each week.

I heard that a DS remake of Donkey Kong 64 might be in the works.

You guys who say that you are going to buy Toki Tori now just because it's low on this list are idiots. You should have bought the game when it came out, then it wouldn't be as low as it is. That Pong Toss game being so high is really insulting to us Nintendo fans. I think that is what WiiWare will become, a place for garbage . True gems like Dr. Mario, Toki Tori, Mega Man 9, and so on will disappear, and we will be left with shovelware.

Okay maybe I was a bit harsh with my comment, but I'm just sick of anytime someone states their opinion on this site, people flame them immediately. Truthfully eventhough people are pissed off over yesterdays releases, they are actually pretty good compared to some of the games we have gotten this year. The game I'm most waiting for, Mega Man 9. Bring it on!

I'm not really interested in Animal Crossing. The Gamecube version was good, but I don't really care for the sims genre.

They don't know how to run a proper online service dude. The Wii friend codes are BS. Secondly, I didn't say the games that came out are garbage, I think that Nintendo are morons because they don't cater to all genres and systems. We haven't gotten any SNES and N64 games in months. A little variety is all that is needed each week.

Check your holier than thou attitude at the door! Me and many others on this site have every right to complain if we don't like the specific games that you do. The VC has sucked this year. That is my opinion and I have every right to think that even if you don't.

Plain and simple. Nintendo has no clue how to run an online service. It's just as stupid as not going with CD's for the N64 era.

I will say this. I assume Mega Man 9 is going to be released on the PS3 and 360 in September. The game better not get released on those systems, while Nintendo holds the release back in order to give us more shovelware WiiWare games. That would be a very stupid mistake!

If this game is so much like Link's Crossbow Training, then I'll stick with Link's Crossbow Training. Why waste $10 when Link's Crossbow Training is better.

Who cares about either of these two games. I've played this Sonic version. I'll pass, the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis is so much better. Splatterhouse 2 blows compared to the original. But seriously guys, if you don't want anything, please don't "impulse" buy. Why give Nintendo your money when they treat their customers like crap.

Did anyone ever think that maybe that the pre-release anouncements were authorized by Nintendo so people would be duped into buying Wii Point cards?

What's even more important is that the U.S. is getting Mega Man 9 in September.

I totally agree with your comment about the Mega Man Collection. It isn't a big deal that the buttons are swapped. It's the same as people who complain that Majora's Mask was clitchy on the Zelda Collector's Edition when the game was free to begin with.

I just want to say for the record since a lot of you guys are mentioning Game Informer that I think the magazine blows. All they ever cover is the PS3. Sadly, EGM is going down this same route. That magazine used to cover every system, but nowadays they don't cover the Wii at all. I think EGM has actually sucked since Shoe left. Every game they put on their cover is from the PS3 or 360. The last game that was on the cover was SSBB. When my subscription runs out in January, I don't think I'll renew it, I'll just stick with Nintendo Power. It blows because I've subscribed to EGM for 6 years, but the magazine isn't what it used to be.

I agree with this guy. We are currently in the good, good, good cycle. Soon we will enter the crap, crap cycle. I'm surprised Rexy or Demon haven't posted yet...

We probably will get a TG-16 game on Monday as well.

Don't worry, I didn't buy Pong, that steaming pile of garbage. However, I'm finally glad that Star Soldier R is out of the Top 20. Not because it's not a good game, because it is, but basically now the TC who makes these Top 20 lists every Wednesday won't cry about it anymore like a baby.

I hope this comes out in September for the U.S. like in Japan.

Another lost VC week. At least the TG-16 has made a return.

The Neo Turf Masters game looks fantastic. You're right with all of your comments. There is a sports game, a car sim, and a fighter. Variety is the spice of life. Aside from a platform game, everybody has something they can enjoy. Off hand, how many blocks does the Neo Turf Masters game take up?

You are right about one thing, Nintendo would try everything to remove the original Excitebike from Excitebike 64 so it does cut into the Excitebike VC version sales.

I always found myself after going threw SMB3 that I hardly broke a sweat. The original and Mario World are much tougher. I agree with Rexy that Mario 2 is pretty easy. By the way, I love the 3 Bonk games!

I'm so sick of every Wednesday the writer that posts the Top 20 has to keep complaining about Star Soldier R being so low. We get it already, you like it!

Well, it's nice to see the Genesis get some lovin, plus both of these games are imports which is always nice. However, what happened to the TG-16 games? Maybe, we will get all 3 next week, or Hudson pushes those releases into August. They have done that before.

Mega Man 2 and 3 were the easiest games. Mega Man was the hardest game.

I agree with maka. I don't mind that NES style of difficulty, but I'm afraid if the game is too difficult that it will put off gamers. Plus the game will get a bad score from gamespot if it's too hard, since those guys always give lower scores to games that are difficult. They are such babies!

I wasn't saying that you said Castlevania and Mega Man 2 weren't classics, I was just using them as an example of what I thought was a classic. Let's just leave it like this, you think Dig Dug is a classic, and I don't. Done.

Meanwhile, I agree with you that all of the E3 whinning is really dumb. I don't know why people make such a big deal about it nowadays, since it's a shell of what it used to be.

Even if they did arrange a deal like that, Nintendo wouldn't announce it because they are jerks and they want to keep any announcements VC related a secret.
