Great system. I remember buying mine way back in March 2000 at Walmart. Seeing Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Castlevania LOD in 3D was awesome since I grew up playing those 3 series on the NES.
Happy Birthday GameBoy. I've had mine since the late 80's, still works as well. I wouldn't mind a backstory about the GameBoy at the top of the page that survived the Cold War.
I wish they didn't change the site to nintendolife. The redesign is nice but now I can't go on vc-reviews anymore at work because the name nintendo is in the sites name. All the other sites like gamefaqs and ign are banned, but vc-reviews was so obscure that it never was banned.
"I predict that the PAL region will get Majora's Mask already this month or next (depending on when Hanabi Festival is) while North America gets Super Smash Bros instead and thus have to wait until the summer to finally get the game."
I'm fine with that since I already own Majora's Mask, but don't have SSB.
These weekly lists are so stupid. Every week they look exactly the same accept when Onslaught was #1 last week. What a insult that Mega Man 9 has fallen out of the Top 20 again!
"Remember when Grandma used to mark your height on the wall every so often, just to see how fast you were growing? Well, if the Wii™ Shop Channel had its own growth chart, she'd be impressed at how the selection of great games keeps getting bigger and bigger each week. "
The person who writes these stupid press releases every week, is the biggest waste of money of Nintendo's payroll. Gradius seems to be a pretty decent WiiWare game, but Alex Kidd seems like a pile of garbage.
Your logic makes sense, although I hope your prediction on April 13th doesn't come true. Clayfighter blows, and I hope that pile of crap never comes to the U.S.
What else is new, our government is always looking for a way to grab free money. Just like how the state of Connecticut has expanded the retarded bottle bill to include water bottles now. Either way, when you want to play, you have to pay.

@127. firebrand Yeah I know about not many games coming because of license issues. I want Super Smash Bros., Mario Party 2 & 3, and Mario Tennis. The other big games like DK 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and the Castlevania games I already own so no big deal if they don't come. Those other 4 games though I used to own, but sadly when I got my Gamecube in 2001, I was spoiled by the pretty graphics and sold a lot of my N64 games because I thought the graphics sucked. I kick myself everyday because of that. Luckily, 3 games that I used to own have already been released (Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Story, and Mario Golf), but I want SSB very badly.
I have no interest in World of Goo, which is why I haven't bought it. Dr. Mario and Mega Man 9 are the only WiiWare games I own. Icarian looks interesting though. When does it come out?
@23. Quimby Oh no, don't get me wrong, 1 game weeks are horrible and Nintendo should be totally embarrased for them. It's just I'm happy (for now) that Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Castlevania 3 came out.
Not for me, but I'm happy after getting Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Castlevania 3 the last 2 weeks. Besides, rather than wait for Nintendo to release them, I just decided to hook up my N64 to play some of the classics from that system, like Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Donkey Kong 64, and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. I like playing N64 games with a Gamecube controller better, but it may take Nintendo years to release those games, if they even come at all.
@22. Shadx Many people feel that way as well about Mega Man 9 being the best game. The only people that say they hate Mega Man 9 are soccer moms and wimps who can't handle the difficulty.

Re: Review: Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)
Fantastic game.
Re: Nintendo Download: Mixed Messages, Pitfalls, Magic Tricks and Pirates (US)
Another sucky update.
Re: 20 Years On, The Power Glove is Still Awesomely Bad
A complete piece of junk. I tried it at friends house once, and wow was it a pain to use. Love the Angry Video Game Nerd's review of it.
Re: Sony: PSP is Better Than The DSi
I own both a DS and a PSP, and I enjoy both.
Re: Top 20 WiiWare Games in USA (8th Apr)
These Top 20 lists everyweek are getting boring. The Top 3 never change.
Re: The N64 and Nintendo’s Fall From Grace
Great system. I remember buying mine way back in March 2000 at Walmart. Seeing Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Castlevania LOD in 3D was awesome since I grew up playing those 3 series on the NES.

Re: Nintendo 'Not So Green' Based on Environmental Report
Who cares about greenpeace, losers!
Re: Top 20 WiiWare Games in USA (1st Apr)
That Top 20 list simply fails since Mega Man 9 is no where to be seen.

Re: USA VC Update: Super Punch-Out!!
"Strangely enough, there are no new C64 or Arcade games today. Get on the ball, Nintendo!"
Took the words right out of my mouth.

Re: SD Card Game Launching + Arcade Games Available on VC Now!
Even better, now we're just 8 games away from the big 300!
Re: USA VC Update: Bomberman '94 and Detana!! Twinbee
A good update, plus we got 2 games for once. Glad to see Hudson back on the bandwagon.

Re: USA VC Update: Summer Games II
I hope Nintendo doesn't waste a VC week on a pile of garbage like Clayfighter.
Re: USA VC Update: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
I was, my mistake.
Re: USA VC Update: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
@45. Metroid133
You would rather have Clayfighter over Ogre Battle? Are you nuts?
Re: USA VC Update: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
Unless we get back to back 3 game C64 weeks.

Re: USA VC Update: Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen
Maybe last week gave everyone hope.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - March 2009
Oh well for Japan, they already have more games than U.S. and Europe so if they get less games per month that's too bad.

Re: Top 20 WiiWare Games in USA (25th Feb)
Mega Man 9 should still be on it instead of all that soccer mom shovelware crap.

Re: USA VC Update: Commodore 64 Launches With Three Games
"Did any of you actually own a Nintendo 64 ten years ago?"
I did and I loved it.
Re: USA VC Update: Commodore 64 Launches With Three Games
@Versus22
It's really been that long?
Re: USA VC Update: Commodore 64 Launches With Three Games
Hey Bass, now we're 5 games ahead of Europe. Since you always seem to post how many games Europe is behind the U.S. I decided to post it for you, LOL!
3 games is great in all, but I don't care about the C64.
Re: Take Five and Double It!
Maybe it will be something good for once.
Re: Take Five and Double It!
They should've got all the kinks out of the new system so the user-rating feature wouldn't be eliminated.
Re: USA VC Update: Life Force
@82. Bass X0
Who cares, give us Nintendo games before stupid C64 games.
Re: Rumour: EarthBound Not Coming to Virtual Console
Not a big deal, I hate RPG's anyway.
Re: OFLC Update: Even More Imports!
I don't see why Nintendo needs a Hanabi to release imports in Europe. When the U.S. gets an import, we just get it, no Hanabi needed.
Re: USA VC Update: Wolf of the Battlefield: MERCS
This is a better choice than Clayfighter. I hope Clayfighter remains one of those exclusive PAL games, at least until SSB comes out.
Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
I agree with Objection_Blaster, both America and Europe are getting screwed compared to Japan.
Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
I agree!
Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
I still don't want this pile of garbage on Monday.
Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
Great, we'll probably get Clayfighter on Monday, a pile of complete garbage! Give us SSB, damn it Nintendo!
Re: USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos
The game is alright, but still a pretty crappy update in all. Another 1 game week. Japan gets 10 games a month, we get 4. How does that make sense?
Re: Super Smash Bros.
Better get it sooner than that!
Re: Top 20 WiiWare Games in USA (28th Jan)
I have no interest in World of Goo, which is why I haven't bought it. Dr. Mario and Mega Man 9 are the only WiiWare games I own. Icarian looks interesting though. When does it come out?
Re: USA VC Update: Wonder Boy in Monster Land
Too bad, SSB would have been a better game to be released.
Re: EU VC Update: Mario Golf and Wonder Boy in Monster Land
Wouldn't count on it. Buying games is a luxary not a necessity.
Re: EU VC Update: Mario Golf and Wonder Boy in Monster Land
DK64 was a pretty good game, but the 2 Banjo games were much better.
Re: USA VC Update: MUSHA
@23. Quimby
Oh no, don't get me wrong, 1 game weeks are horrible and Nintendo should be totally embarrased for them. It's just I'm happy (for now) that Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Castlevania 3 came out.

No. It's like the NES ones.
