This isn't that exciting to me. I own Castlevania on the GBA, Castlevania 2, 3, and 4 on the VC. I can play Rondo of Blood on my PSP, and I own SOTN when it was originally released. Plus, the N64 games I already own on the N64.
Strange that Castlevania Bloodlines (the only Castlevania game I don't own) isn't mentioned.
Back to 1 game a week. That kinda sucks a little bit, but with all of the great games we got over the last few months, it's not a big deal at all. At least we got a VC game, which sadly our friends in Europe haven't seen for a few weeks.
@13. WonderboY101 America went threw a dry spell like the one Europe is experiencing now last summer. The VC isn't dying, things will pick up again for you guys.
@23. Mickeymac I wasn't just refering to Jack Tretton, I was talking about Sony Execs as a whole. They always bash the Wii. Type in "sony" in the search bar at the top of the page, and listed there are several articles where Sony cuts down the Wii like when they say all of the Wii's success is because of the PS3. Honestly, I love my PS2 and PSP, but it really pisses me off when they released the PS3 and assumed people would pay $600 for the system just because they think they are #1. And I have the Nintendo Power and EGM magazines where they flaunted that crap.
By the way. Mr. Jack did a interview in EGM a few years back where he flaunted the PS3's success after launch. He bet the interviewer that if he could walk into any store and find a PS3, Jack would give him $1000. The interviewer said Jack owes him $5000 because he had seen 5 PS3's at a Gamestop. Jack then proceeded to call him a liar. Jack is just an another loser who has no idea what he is talking about.
@18. Mickeymac I don't feel like looking for them, but there have been several on this site in the past few months. Sony's VP Jack Tretton does it all the time even though the guy is a complete jack@$$.
@21. Super Smash Bros. Fan1999 You are correct, our summertime releases this year were just painful, just like Europe's are now. It will probably happen again this year in NA. Of course the only games I'm looking forward to are the Mario Party games and Mario Tennis on the VC since it looks like the Ninja Turtle games won't ever come out. And of course Mega Man 10.
I love the God of War series. Now David Jaffe has earned even more respect in my eyes. The morons who run Sony could take a page out of his book instead of just bashing everything that has to do with Nintendo.
Castlevania Rebirth is pretty darn good. I already beat it and I can say it is worth the 1000 points. The only weird thing is that stage 5 is really long and stage 6 is really really short. It takes up a boat load of memory as well (263 blocks). I heard in Japan it was only like 156 blocks.
Yes, finally! I've been waiting for SSB since Europe got it. About freaking time it was released in North America. I guess we all know which game is coming next week (Pilotwings), not that I care about it anyway, I got SSB so I'm happy.
@52. Sneaker13 That may be true, but it still doesn't excuse the fact that America doesn't have SSB yet (although we will finally before the end of the month).
@35. Rensch There have been only 2 updates without Super Mario Kart. Try being in America and still not having SSB! Still, I think both Europe and America will get those games for Christmas; Europe will get SMK and America will get SSB.
@58. MJsbff MJ was a good singer (although I don't care for his music, I can admit he was good). Still, I find it funny now that he has died that people have forgotten about all of the pedofile issues with MJ and treat him like a God. The guy was a complete freak.
I hope it comes out on Monday. Perfect timing with Halloween around the corner, although I thought that with Castlevania 3 last year and we didn't get it until January.
Damn, eight games! But I don't own the DSi, just a regular DS, so it's really only the standard 3 games to chose from. Sadly, nothing again as usual, but I hold out hope for Castlevania Rebirth next week.

Re: Even More Nintendo Titles Get The Axe
I already got Wario Land and Mario Strikers Charged, so I'm set.
Re: Nintendo: Hey, We're Green, Honest!
Just like I said back in the other article, who cares what Greenpeace (and PETA) have to say. People in Greenpeace and PETA are morons.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11 January 2010 (North America)
I guess we are back to a crappy VC release schedule. At least November and December were good months.
Re: Nintendo No Longer Publishing Metroid Prime Trilogy in US
I already own Metroid Prime 1 and 2 on the Gamecube, amd Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii so I could care less about Nintendo getting rid of the collection.
Re: Nintendo Hits Rock Bottom In Greenpeace Rankings
Like someone else said, who cares about Greenpeace and PETA!

"If I were a collector, this would be very irritating."
Tough luck to them. Collector's who are complaining that it is decreasing the value of their games can suck it.
Re: David Jaffe Inspired by Zelda
I'm not upset, but I'm glad Sony got knocked down quite a bit with the PS3 when the Wii came out. Deep down, I simply want Nintendo to be #1.

Re: Review: Castlevania The Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare)
I beat it the first day it came out. Really good game although it's weird that the fifth stage is so long and the sixth stage is so short.

Re: Nintendo Download: 28 December 2009 (North America)
Castlevania Rebirth is nothing like the Game Boy version, except for maybe the rolling eyeballs.

Cool picture!
Re: Nintendo Download: 25 December 2009 (EU)
So Europe doesn't get any VC games for Christmas? Ouch (goes and plays SSB)!
Re: Nintendo Download: 21 December 2009 (North America)
Yes, finally! I've been waiting for SSB since Europe got it. About freaking time it was released in North America. I guess we all know which game is coming next week (Pilotwings), not that I care about it anyway, I got SSB so I'm happy.
Re: Feature: For Your Consideration - New Super Mario Bros. Wii
New Super Mario Bros. Wii would get my vote.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14 December 2009 (North America)
"Well obviously. They wouldn't release such a big title on a random day, they would be saving it for the Monday before Christmas."
I know, but it never hurts to hope just a little.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14 December 2009 (North America)
Damn no SSB or Castlevania Rebirth. Oh well, SSB should be hear next week for the Christmas update.
Re: Nintendo Download: Alex Kidd, Rubik, Pallurikio, Monkey Island, Hell's Kitchen and PictureBook Games (EU)
@29. Gavin Rozee
SSB is way better than SMK in my opinion at least.

22. Sean Aaron
Hell no! Hells Kitchen is way better than Kitchen Nightmares.
Re: Megaman 10 Heading to WiiWare!
I beat Mega Man 9 within the first couple of days. I guess I'm in the 10%. Anyway awesome news about MM10!
Re: Nintendo Download: Rayman, Notebooks, Stress Busting and Ninjas! (US)
@42. LEGEND MARIOID
Yes, but this summer saw North America get dismal update after dismal update while Europe got decent updates.

There have been only 2 updates without Super Mario Kart. Try being in America and still not having SSB! Still, I think both Europe and America will get those games for Christmas; Europe will get SMK and America will get SSB.
Re: Nintendo: We Don't Want To Remake Past Zelda Games
I'd be okay if they remade ALttP in 3D because it wouldn't change the way the original looked. Or better yet, a 2D remake of OOT.
Re: Nintendo: We Don't Want To Remake Past Zelda Games
Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would be great with graphical upgrades, but I would rather play the games the way they were when they were made.
Re: Nintendo Cutting Back On Wii Production?
The Wii is already a success, so who cares?
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkey Island, Zoos, 'Copters, Face Stealing and Puzzles! (US)
Nothing great this week.
Re: Review: Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Wii)
Can't wait to get this on Christmas!
Re: Nintendo Download: Flip Champs, Missiles, Shanghai II, Copter Crisis, Dragon Master, Rabbids Lab and Solitaire (EU)
@6. bboy2970
"Maybe Nintendo will let Europe sweat about Super Mario Kart for a while. Then they can feel America's Super Smash Bros. pain!"
That seems fair to me. LOL!
Re: Sony Boss: All Your Sales Are Belong To Us, Nintendo
Even if the PS3 is catching up to the Wii, it's only because the PS3 is now $299. They are still millions and millions behind the Wii in sales.
Re: Super Mario Kart Hits Virtual Console on Monday
Can't wait for both SSB and SMK. I've been waiting all year for these 2 games.
Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Shootanto, All Time Classics, Army Defender, myNotebook and UNO (EU)
You guys just had a Hanabi like 3 months ago.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
Great game, plus the Koopalings are back!
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Packaging Is All Kinds Of Awesome
Sounds cool. Can't wait until Sunday.
Re: Nintendo Download: Bikes, Frogs, Dragons, Bombs, Plankton and Cybernoids (US)
Good to see we are getting 2 VC games a week recently. Still no SSB though!
Re: Michael Jackson's Moonwalker Coming to Virtual Console?

MJ was a good singer (although I don't care for his music, I can admit he was good). Still, I find it funny now that he has died that people have forgotten about all of the pedofile issues with MJ and treat him like a God. The guy was a complete freak.
Re: Game Boy Granted Access To National Toy Hall Of Fame
Congrats Game Boy!!!
Re: Nintendo Download: Fights, Shooters, Sparkles, Vikings, Dragons, Carnivals, Escapes and Card Games (US)
@24. Bass X0
SSB should come before any of those other crappy games you mentioned, since we are way overdue for SSB.
Re: Nintendo Download: Fights, Shooters, Sparkles, Vikings, Dragons, Carnivals, Escapes and Card Games (US)
Back to back weeks of 2 VC games is fantastic, maybe Nintendo's finally decided to give us more than 1 VC game a week.
Re: First Impressions: Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth
The game sounds great, how about we get it Monday?
Re: More Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth Screenshots
I hope it comes out on Monday. Perfect timing with Halloween around the corner, although I thought that with Castlevania 3 last year and we didn't get it until January.

Re: Captain Lou Albano Passes Away
RIP Lou!
Re: First Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth Screens Appear
I'm glad it will be like the classic Castlevania games and not the Metroidvania games.
