As a side note, did anyone else accidentally get to this location way earlier than they were supposed to? I haven't even done the regional quests before I accidentally started Guidance From the Ages

Good article. Kind of off topic but ever since TOTK came out there's the same 5 or so commentators in these comments sections writing essays about why it's actually a bad game. Find something better to do guys

Never heard of this game but I really like the European cover. The IGN quote on the NA box sure is... something. Frothing.

TOTK deserves it from what I played so far, I think OoT also does, the other ones are not 10/10 games IMO.

@somnambulance IIRC GTA4 was the most critically praised game at launch. I think it got 10/10 from everyone everywhere

I hope they fix the texture issues. On my main save with 100, about 95% of the planets I land on have missing textures. I haven't seen a creature with it's proper texture in over 20 hours.

That picture of Pikachu on its back in the middle of the ring is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I love this. Imagine if we'd got a No Mercy style wrestling game with Nintendo characters?? Created wrestlers in Wrestling Empire is probably the closest we'll ever get

After a previous article discussing hard video game moments, I decided to give Viewtiful Joe another try after the boss rush ended my last playthrough more than a decade ago. Good news; I actually beat Fire Leo this time.

I've also been shiny hunting in Pokemon Legends because it's much more enjoyable than shiny hunting in other Pokemon games.

Dead Cells,one of the characters even references the fact that you're messing up the whole time loop by repeatedly running the game

@Flying_Over_Trout whenever I see a GameCube for sale, it's about $30. The expensive part is the controllers and games.

In 007 Nightfire, there's a special variant of the Kowloon pistol that's fully automatic. This gun can only be used by selecting the "Random" weapon set and restarting until it spawns. It appears nowhere else in the game.

Jinpachi in Tekken 5 is the only time I ever threw a controller. He's not actually that bad now that I'm a bit older and beat arcade mode with everyone about a million times (Tekken 5 is awesome) but that first attempt...oof.

@87th Fire Leo is absolutely insane. I've beaten a lot of hard games, I greatly enjoy difficulty, I have rare platinums on PSN ect ect.

I literally gave up on Fire Leo. It's the ONLY time in 20+ years of video gaming that I've straight up said "this actually seems impossible and I don't want to try anymore". It takes so much to push me to that point but that goddamn game did it.

Picked up No Man's Sky on my birthday weekend as it was at a slight discount. I played it for a week or so way back when it released in 2016, amazing how far it's come since then and even more amazing that it runs so goddamn well on Switch.

Retro Bowl is fun, but I can't see an offense-only football("soccer") game working as well

@HammerGalladeBro when you get down to the nitty-gritty, Melee is almost completely busted as a game. It's very stable, so it won't crash, but the amount of bizarre glitches and character oddities are truly off the charts. Despite that, or perhaps maybe a bit because of that, it's a fantastic game.

@LP09 I'd say Crank with Jason Statham feels the most like a GTA movie. The adrenaline fueled heart feels like it could be a side mission plot

@ketrac I really enjoyed the snowboarding minigame to get there, as well. Twilight Princess is the bomb

I log in occasionally, every month or so, when my wife needs me to build a bridge or whatever. I still plan on getting all the bugs at some point, and I actually like the DLC quite a lot, but it's not a daily thing at all anymore. My wife still plays it fairly regularly though.

@bonjong23 I found that guy when I was exploring in the post game, looking for random little things. He was my favorite too, poor guy is so concerned

If anyone wants a more zombie themed Oregon Trail on Switch, check out Death Road to Canada. It's a blast and way cheaper than this remake.

As a side note, the back of the box (at least the NA one) is pretty terrible too. It shows a bunch of beta guns that aren't even in the game.

Europe's is better art, NA represents the actual game better. Both are pretty terrible, which is a shame because TS2 is one of the best games of all time.

@Dm9982 I'm 99% sure this wouldn't lock any pokemon out. Nothing in a den can't be found in the overworld (albeit with horrible odds)
