Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

@roy130390 Dude. You're taking this so seriously its sad. An anime fight? You know I can respond to YOUR responses to me just because I want to since this is a public forum for discussion right? If what I say is bad, the mods will delete my posts. You come and reply to me and try and police me, and when I don't back down like a good little boy you claim I need to seek help and that its some anime fight. This is what happens when you live eternally online I guess 🤷

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

Levantine

@roy130390 I'm not a good guy. I've never pretended to be a good guy. I bantered with him and I apologized to him. You've done nothing but make me laugh. Keep it coming dude. I'll keep replying cause you keep thinking you're gonna get me good.

Edit: Yep we devolved into the projection argument. You ran out of material already. Sad.

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

Levantine

@roy130390 The most hilarious part about this entire discussion is that you're taking this more seriously than me and even @OctolingKing13 are. I'm sure that kid is able to brush off an internet argument. You just come off as someone with a hero complex. Don't worry soldier there's plenty more out there to save 🫡

Edit: I read your second paragraph again and "I just explained why you were misunderstanding him. It was until you said that his apology wasn't sincere for some reason that it gave the opposite impression and at that point you can't blame anyone of bringing it up, it was you not letting it go." I never wanted an apology? You brought it up to me. I never spoke about it at all and it was in response to you, but keep thinking I'm offended. Don't worry bro you got me I'm kneeling aiiieeeeee and all that. That holier than thou syndrome applies to you too. 🤭

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

@roy130390 His old comment classified every one of us that didn't agree with him as boomers. You still aren't getting that the BOOMER part was just the laughable part to me, of course I can't let it go when Summer235 replied to me talking about it, he replied to me about it, and you replied to me talking about it. What I was focused on was his comments about eco-friendliness first and foremost the boomer part at the end was just a quip, but you can keep going on and on to defend some kid on the internet.

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

Levantine

@roy130390 Oh please. He isn't sorry for anything dude. It's a comment section about video games and we're all hiding behind usernames. I couldn't care less what he buys, you buy, or anyone buys. I spend money in genshin impact on rolls for characters. I just think his eco-friendly argument was horrible and then tries to tell me I'm offended. I also think it's sad that kids want v-bucks more than actual games, but do I really care? Not one bit.

Edit: I also like how you say he never said I was the one offended but he replied to me and said he was sorry he offended me. Lmao. Can't make this up

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

Levantine

@OctolingKing13 C'mon your first post reeked of holier than thou syndrome, and where in my post did I ever even express being offended? Ohhhh cause I pointed out your terrible logic of being eco-friendly and your use of a buzzword? Kids these days making up assumptions of others based on nothing. 🤭 The real world after being a teenager is gonna give you a very rude awakening lmao.

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

Levantine

@OctolingKing13 Digital games are more eco friendly? Oh so the carbon emission from the actual console, and waste that comes from the console (packaging, wrapping etc), and from them having to be dumped someplace since they're basically plastic bricks eventually is totally okay, but physical games are where you draw the line? Seems like a cope response because you wanted to try and stick it to us boomers.

Re: Review: ASTLIBRA Revision (Switch) - Flawed, But One Of 2023's Most Intriguing Action RPGs

Levantine

@MeloMan Minor early gameplay spoiler but:

An example I can give you is at one point you need to turn a wooden skull into a gold one. Earlier in the chapter in a cutscene someone falls in a lake and the lady of the lake pops out and talks about silver, gold, or the plain object. So you need to take a wooden skull and drop it in the lake. The game doesn't TELL YOU that you need to go to the lake, just that you need to turn the skull gold, but again there's an entire cutscene showing you what to do 30min before you actually need to do it.

Re: Review: ASTLIBRA Revision (Switch) - Flawed, But One Of 2023's Most Intriguing Action RPGs

Levantine

Glad you guys reviewed this no matter the score given, but there is one thing I have a gripe with. I played the entire game on steam plus postgame and never once needed a guide, and this was BEFORE they re-translated the entire game prior to the switch release. You really only have so many areas to go through in a chapter, people to talk to and key items to use. It's pretty hard to get lost. The game is a little old school but if you can play any of the old Zelda games pre-windwaker you will be fine with this game.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Also Had A Strong Start In The US

Levantine

Absolutely well deserved. Wonder is up there with World for me in regards of 2D platformers and I'm not even finished with it yet. The amount of pure fun and creativity in these courses show the EPD team haven't lost their magic making 2D Mario games. I think with digital sales included Mario could've beaten Spidey here in the US.

Re: Poll: What's The Best RPG Starring Mario?

Levantine

Extremely tough decision for me. TTYD is an easy answer, but I do really REALLY like the first Paper Mario, but Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is also like a peak game for me and they all hold heavy nostalgia value in my heart.....hmmm thanks NL now I'm going to be up all night debating this in my head way longer than I really should lol

Re: Action RPG With 'Overwhelmingly Positive' Reception Launches On Switch This Week

Levantine

I've dumped at least 150+ hours into this game on steam. It's made by one guy and it has some of the best ARPG combat I've ever experienced. The amount of customization and playstyles for your character is insane, and with mastering gear giving you their abilities innately ala FF9. This game is an absolute gem. Yes the graphics look like a flash game, because this game WAS a flash game. Thats why it has revision in the title. Anyway I'll stop shilling this game now. I already double dipped on the pre-order but wanted to say it's not just the steam reviews.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 4th)

Star Ocean 2!! I've said it before, but it's my favorite series. For the longest time 3 was my favorite and it was partially due to quirks I had with 2. Every single issue I ever had with 2 was ironed out with this remake and it is absolute perfection, and is now my favorite. I don't mean to gush so much, but have to show love to my favorite series!!

Besides that though I've been playing MGS (originally was only gonna get MGS3 but I bought the whole collection like a sucker) and currently going through 2 for the first time in....ages lol. Amazing series. Have a great weekend 😁

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 28th)

Levantine

I'm playing Sonic Superstars still (love the game...probably my favorite classic Sonic game since 3&K, I loved mania but this is a fully new game) and Mario Wonder, and both I've been playing with family at times too. Also playing MGS3 for the first time now that it's on switch. I picked a ton of games up on this huge Eshop sale and I'm still sorting through them all lol 😅

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 14th)

Levantine

This week I picked up Silent Hope after hearing Dragalia Lost comparisons and already being interested in it from what I had seen. Awesome little ARPG that's like diablo 1/torchlight and Dragalia Lost combined. Also playing Disgaea 7 still, and playing some Pokemon Platinum since I got a random itch to play some older Pokemon 😅

Re: Review: Fate/Samurai Remnant - Musou Evolved, With Patchy Switch Performance

Levantine

Being a huge Fate fan I double dipped and have both the switch and PS5 version. Performance issues are definitely there on the switch version, ESPECIALLY docked. The PS5 version runs pretty much flawlessly and looks beautiful as one would expect. This port is about on par with the warriors games on switch, which is to say not amazing but not bad if you prefer portability over performance. Either version though the game is awesome.
