I used to take my 3DS to the big San Diego Comic Con every year (I haven't missed the event in over 10 years, until this pandemic stopped it, tho, I still have tickets, they just keep getting pushed back to the next year), and there I would get hundreds and hundreds of Streepasses a day, from people all over the world. At every panel, before it started, or in line waiting for something, I'd be on my 3DS collecting the 10 Streepasses, and quickly trying to play the games to use the characters, so I can collect more Streetpasses without the the current ones going to waste. I would get a couple of hundred Streetpasses a day, every day of the event, every year... But, the last 2 Comic Cons (when they still had them) I started noticing less and less Streetpasses, and more and more Switches. At the Nintendo Lounge, in line to get in, virtually everybody was there on their Switch, to pass the time while waiting, but in years prior, it used to always be everybody on their 3DSs. I miss Streetpasses and Miiverse, and Swapnote. I still get Streetpasses every now and then around town, but not often. But I still get Streetpasses at San Diego Comic Con, which is nice. But yeah, not nearly as many as I used to. Those were the days.
Mechstermination Force is fun. Hard, but fun. I haven't played Severed yet, but I loved both Guacamelee games. I liked part 1, overall, better than part 2, but both are fun. 2 has more moves and combos, but story wise, I think part 1 is better. But I might finally try Severed out.
I still have my GBA and those games, among many more. I thought about playing Metroid Fusion again, but, I'm a huge Advance Wars fan, so, was super excited to see anything Advance Wars related. So, I pulled out my 3DS and started playing Dual Strike and Days of Ruin on it, again. I have Advance Wars 1 & 2 on the Wii U already, as well as the GBA originals. But I might play Metroid Fusion again soon too.
I have a 1TB SDCard in my Switch, and have all of my games on there. Physical and Digital game files/saves. Over 330+ games, total, combined. With room to add more. So, I'm good to go. Don't need to get rid of anything to make room for other things. So, that's good.
Hmm. for some reason, it's not putting a "*" next to Game & Watch, Skyward Sword, or BotW 2, and changed it to a little box instead. interesting. But yeah, plan on getting all of those too.
*Kazuya in Smash Bros - Cool choice. I'm sure Tekken fans are happy.
Life is Strange - eh, didn't interest me
*Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Could be fun.
*Super Monkey Ball - Fantastic games. Glad they're getting a revival.
*Mario Party Superstars - This should be really fun.
*Metroid Dread - This was a long time coming, but definitely welcome. A little different than I was expecting, but should be very fun.
Just Dance 2022 - Wouldn't be E3 without a Just Dance game.
*Cruis'n Blast - Been a while since I last played a Cruis'n game. Should be fun.
*Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Always a good time with Dragonball
*Mario Golf Super Rush - I've gotten every Mario Golf game, and I have lots of other friends excited for this one too.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 - I've only played the Wii U Monster Hunter game, for a little bit, and no other games in the series.
*WarioWare: Get It Together - Yes. WarioWare games are always a blast. So much fun. Have gotten all of them since they first started coming out.
Shin Megami Tensai V - The only SMT game I've ever played was Devil Survivor. Its a hugely popular series. And its an exclusive for the switch. So, bonus.
Dangan Ronpa Decadence - I've never played any games in this series. But I'm sure it has its fans.
*Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water - I have the Wii U version, but I didn't get to finish it. Too many Wii U games. Kept switching games, and never got back to this one. But I'd like to finish it.
*Doom Eternal DLC - I'm still working on this game, but, DLC should be fun.
*Tony Hawk 1 & 2 - Been a long time since I've played these games.
Strange Brigade - Don't know much about this
*Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope - Loved the first game. Definitely getting the sequel
*Advance Wars 1 & 2 Re-Boot Camp - FINALLY. I've been waiting for this since the last game came out, forever ago. I've put more hours into the Advance Wars game series than any other game series, ever. I still play all of them to this day. Definitely a Day 1 purchase. Will put many many hours into this game.
*Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC - I like this game. Its fun. Getting the DLC for more fun too.
Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda (35th Anniversary) - I still have several original Game & Watch games. I got the Mario one last year, and definitely getting this Zelda one when it releases too. The Legend of Zelda is my all time favorite franchise.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - I liked the original version. Wasn't in my Top 5 in the series, but definitely had fun with it. Will get it again.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 (or whatever it may be called) - Definitely getting this. Favorite franchise. First Breath of the Wild game was fantastic. Definitely looking forward to this, and having a blast. They clearly showed that they were expanding on the first game and doing a lot of new, and cool things with it. May be in the same lands, but doing so much more with them, for a different experience.
= games I will get
Lots of great games in this E3 Direct worth getting and getting excited over. Almost all of them. Some of the other presentations had some good games too. But nobody else had as good of a presentation as this one, with so many good things all at once, together. Nintendo definitely earned their "A - Fantastic" Grade.
It was worth it then, and worth it now. I had a lot of fun with the Wii U. I still have lots of games for it. Its great. I now primarily play the Switch, but the Wii U was great in its day. Sure, it didn't sell as well as it should have, but, that doesn't take away from its greatness. I had a fantastic time, and fond memories, of the Wii U the entire time I've had it. I still have it hooked up. Again, I mostly play my Switch, these days, but, when my nieces and nephews come out, they love the Wii U too, for good reason. It's fantastic.
I plan on getting the "Switch Pro" too, when it comes out. But I have a launch Switch, from Day 1, and it's still going strong. Runs smooth. Vent slates are still perfectly intake. No cracking or anything anywhere. No bending or heat warping, which I've read about too. Mine still looks new and performs perfectly. And I play in handheld mode 99% of the time. I only play docked when I go to friend's places and play there. But, since the pandemic, haven't gone to a lot of friend's places. But also, they now have their own Switch's too. So, even if I do go over, they have theirs docked. So, I don't play mine docked much. At home, I'm 100% handheld, to keep my tv free so I can watch something on tv while playing games on my Switch. I travel a lot too, and I play in cars, and on trains, and in planes. I take my Switch with me everywhere. My Switch gets played every single day. I have tons and tons of games with hundreds of hours each. Several with over 300 hours. I have over 320 games, both digital and physical. I play all of the time. Yet, my Switch still runs perfectly. It looks perfect still. Even my screen protector doesn't have any scratches on it. I look at your pics, and I wonder, are you dropping it, or squeezing really hard, or something. You don't "Rage Quit" and throw it across the room, do you? I've easily put several thousand hours into my Switch already, and its still in perfect condition, after thousands of hours of playtime. So, it feels like there's something you're not telling us about yours. Tho, I do have 5 pairs of Joy Cons, plus 2 Pro Controllers, plus 2 SNES controllers and 2 NES controllers. But only 2 of the 10 Joy Cons have "JoyCon Drift". The other 8 are perfectly good still. I also use the Breath of the Wild travel case that came with the Special Edition. It has a hard rubber outer case, and I use the 'pouch' inside not for controllers and cords, but instead, I put all of the remaning loose Switch game cartdriges in there. It comes with a flap with game holder spots, which I put with the games that I most want to play (at the time), and the rest i put in the pouch, with all of the microfiber towels that I got from the DS, 3DS, Wii U, and Switch, from different things, that I use to "clog" the opening of the pouch to prevent the games from falling out. So, everything is pretty secure, and traveling I have no problem, as everything is well protected. Maybe that's it, maybe you're not well protecting your Switch when you travel. Something. But even with high high usage, your Switch should still be in better condition than it is in.
For the past week I have been playing EVERY game I own on the Switch (over 330+ titles, both digital and physical). Put at least 30 to 60 mins into each one, even the ones I beat already. I do this every April, and then play all of the new games I get after this point, so that at the end of the year, I can check out my Nintendo Year in Review website by Nintendo, and check out my stats. Also, some games I just like to beat again and again. Or just play for a while, just because. So, for the rest of the month, I'm playing every game I own on the Switch. Some games I haven't beat, so, making a list of them as I go, so, when I'm done replaying everything, I can go back and try to beat the ones that I haven't beat yet, so that I can try to beat as many games I can that I own. Hopefully all of them, one day. But, even if not, will be fun to try.
I didn't care much for Phantom Hourglass nor Spirit Tracks. And the stylus touch controls was part of the reason why I couldn't get into them. Both are definitely NOT in my Top 10 Zelda games.
I still have the Nintendo controllers layout memorized and with muscle memory. The Xbox controller layout messes with me, and I find I have to look at the controller to know what button to press when I have to press a certain button. The Playstation controller I can easily use, because I don't see the buttons as letter. I see them as symbols. Square, Triangle, and Circle, are obvious. But for "X", I don't see it as in the letter "X", I see it as a "cross". Like the "X-ING" street signs for "Crossing". So, Playstation I can adjust to easily. But I can't stand using Xbox controllers. I've been using the layout since the SNES, and it's ALWAYS been the same. Always. So, for decades I've been playing with the same layout, the Nintendo way. Tho, I do play the other consoles too. And every time I play the Xbox, I just can't get used to their backwards concept. Feels unnatural to me. "X" on the Sega Controllers I can totally adapt to tho, in the 6 button layout, with X, Y, Z (top row), A, B, C (bottom row). That's easy, because the layout is a little differnet, and there's more letters to help balance out the placement and knowing what's where. Even when I game on PC, I connect Nintendo Controllers (The Wii U Pro Controller is my all time favorite controller, so far). .. But yeah, the "X" button situation... its only a problem for me on the Xbox. The other consoles I can easily adjust to. I primarily have played on Nintendo consoles my whole life. So i have their layout memorized by heart. But the Xbox controller I don't like using because their layout always throws me off. When its games that tell you to press a certain button, by name. If they don't tell you to press a certain button, by name, and I just play, by feel, like any controller, I'm good. But is otherwise, I ALWAYS have to look to xbox controller to know what button to press, when it tells me to press a certain letter button, as I always guess wrong, and fail, or, take too long looking, and fail. But Nintendo's way is how its always been, from the beginning. So, I go their way, and like their way the best.
Zelda was always considered an "Action RPG" back when that genre used to be commonly used, for decades, in the past. Now, people don't use "Action RPG" much anymore, if at all, but, not sure why. So, yes, its technically an RPG, just in the "Action RPG" genre.
I've beaten Majora's Mask 7 times, and it's not even in my Top 10 favorite Zelda games. In no particular order (so I'll just go release order), my Top 10 include.... The Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, The Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild.
I've written, in the past, several times, why Majora's Mask isn't in my Top 10. Arguably not even in my Top 12. So, not going to go into detail right now, as, I don't want to right a full article about it right now. But, perhaps I will again, soon enough.
I don't care about folders at all, and don't understand why a small vocal minority keeps asking for them. They seem so unnecessary. The Wii U way worked tho. So, instead of having all of the cartridge based games mixed in, it had a 'cartridge slot', where only the cartridge inserted into the system would show up. Then, having the ability to move the digital games around, to manually change the order around, is all that's really needed. Like, just "pinning" the games you want to the home screen, for quick access, and then, when you open the 'view all' page, you can move things around on that page manually, as needed/wanted, to help organize it a little better. That's it. Folder are unnecessary. Just being able to manually change the order of the apps/games would be good. Otherwise, the Switch UI is good how it is. Its clean, its sleek, its function, its not cluttered, its user intuitive, etc. Now, I get wanting more "themes" and 'icons' for customization reasons. That's cool. For personality and customization, and what not. I'm not one to constantly change themes or anything, but I get, and like, the idea of having the option to. Folders, on the other hand, just seem so unnecessary. And I have over 320 games on my Switch, so a full list of games on my 'view all' screen. But even then, is not a problem at all.
I played the Early Access version on PC. Bought it right away on Switch. Having fun with it. Definitely like Hades, but with a Mayan story, instead of Greek, as well as a few changes to how certain things are done. But still fun. Definitely play it if you like Hades.
I already own, and beat, the game on the Wii U, but, will happily get it again on the Switch. So far, every Wii U port to the Switch I owned the Wii U, beat there, and got again on the Switch and beat there too. Fun times all around.
There's a lot of stuff listed here. Tho, out of everything, I only plan on getting...
100% - For sure will buy on the day it releases (already pre-ordered) Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
50% - Might consider buying, at some point Little Nightmares 2
25% (at best) - Maybe if they go on sale one day Asterix & Obelix XIII
Other than these, there's not a lot I want to get from this list, even tho this list is admittedly pretty big. But, I'm positive that there will be lots of more games that I'd want to get, later this year.
Nice, 20/20. Question 15 was a total guess. I had no clue. Just did process of elimination, and hoped I was right. 1 or 2 other guesses too. I wasn't sure about them. But otherwise, I knew what the rest were. So, good times.
I've played it several times. I got 1st place several times too. Not every time. I got 2nd place 4 times in a row once. But I had fun with it. I also participated in this Bowser event. I made sure to kill at least one regular Bowser, and one 'Ghost' Bowser, in both, the regular 35 Battle mode, and the Special Event mode, for this event. In the end, I ended up beating 3 regular Bowsers and 2 'Ghost' Bowsers in the regular 35 Battle Mode, and 1 regular, and 2 'Ghost' Bowsers in the Special Event mode. So, I did my part to take down Bowser and earn these Platinum Points. Currently, I have over 1000 Platinum points, and over 2000 Gold points. Not sure what to spend them on yet, so, just been waiting.
Once Breath of the Wild released I didn't play another single game until I had beat Breath of the Wild, with 100% (Korok Seeds and DLCs and all). I've put well over 350 hours into it. After beating it, I got the promise of "more" when I started the harder difficulty, and replayed the game all over again. So, you not finishing it, or the previous games, so there will always be "more" is just odd, and, quite frankly, stupid. I don't mean that in a mean way. I just don't agree with it. Honestly, I'm positive that everybody I tell about why you won't finish the game is probably going to laugh at you and make jokes at your expense. Again, not saying it to be mean. Just how it is. They will definitely get a lot of "mileage" out of making fun of that fact.
There's only 1 game where I made it to the end of the game, saving right outside the final boss, and didn't finish it, on purpose, and that was Final Fantasy X. I just didn't like the game, tho, I actually didn't know that I saved at the final boss until later. I loved FF7 the best (Yes, more than 6. Been in many debates about that, just like I've been in many debates about how I like Mega Man 3 more than Mega Man 2). But I didn't like FFX, and I felt like it was a chore, as I was forcing myself to play. I got to the point where I finally said I was done. Later, out of curiousity, I looked up how much further I had to go, and it turns out that I had saved just outside the final boss. I turned the game, saw that yeah, it was at the final boss. But I just had no desire to continue to play. I was done with the game. Never went back. I still have that save file, and have never been tempted to re-load it up again.
But yeah, like you, I too have a game where I have it saved at the final boss, and will never go back and complete it. But for vastly different reasons. I just really really hated the game, and didn't want to put the effort into beating it, or even giving it the satisfaction of being beat. But for you, your reason is just, so... I don't know. Very odd, at the least. Its honestly kind of a dumb reason. I'm kind of flabbergasted that not only would you not beat it for that 'reason', but are willing to go around telling people that that's why you won't beat it. Like I said, my friends will make fun of it a lot. Like, a LOT. Not gonna lie. A lot. Personally, I get not wanting to beat a game, but not for that reason.
But to each their own, I guess. Meanwhile, when Breath of the Wild 2 (or whatever it ends up being called), I will not only get it on release day, but I will definitely beat it, regardless of how many hours it takes. When Age of Calamity came out, I put 100% of my gaming time to 100% that game too. I definitely beat that game through and through. Cant wait for Breath of the Wild 2. Will definitely beat that too.
I don't agree with your reasoning over why you won't beat games in the series. But kudos for being brave enough to admit it. Definitely an odd choice, but again, to each their own.
I had all of these games, except 2 of them, and many more. I had about ~120 physical games, and a good 150+ digital games. The Wii U was great, and had tons of games. I loved the Wii U. Totally an underrated system. It was a blast, and I got as many games as I could for it. I used to show off my collection to people and they would freak out going "I didn't know the Wii U had half that many games", and I'd say "why, its a great system". Tons of stuff on it. I used to travel a lot, and I had the car adapter for the system. So, I'd plug it in, and play games on road trips, and show the Wii U Gamepad and me playing games on it, to other cars as we drove by. I always got shocked looks like "you can do that with that?'. I used to have the portable tv adapter to the Gamecube as well, and I used to travel and have road trips with the Gamecube in the car too. It was great. l, of course, do it with the Switch as well. The Switch is the best. But the Wii U was great. I loved being able to watch tv at the same time as playing on the Gamepad. Now I get to do it with the Switch too. But yeah, the Wii U was a fantastic system that had tons of games for it. I heard lots of people complain that it "had no games", but it totally did. People just didn't pay attention. Or didn't want to. But I had a lot of games for it, and I didn't get to buy every game I wanted on it. I could of had even more on it.
The original Clubhouse Games for the DS was one of my most played DS games, next to Advance Wars. I put hundreds and hundreds of hours into the original Clubhouse Games, and was hoping that a new one would release one day. So when Clubhouse Games was a surprise announcement and released last year, i got it on day one. Pre-Ordered it too. There have been tons of other games that I got on the Switch too (I have over 300+ physical & digital games, combined). But I also make time to play some Clubhouse Games here and there. I currently have over 330+ hours in it, and will definitely be putting a lot more time into it too. It doesn't quite have the charm that the first game had, tho, it's also by a different developer too. Which explains that. But still, its a great game, and will get many many more hundreds of hours out of me. Happily.
I had been looking at these games, but haven't bought them yet. Now that they are on sale for this price, I jumped at it, and bought all 3. But I also noticed that the Aladdin/Lion King double pack was on sale for $11.99 too. So I bought all 3 Konami Collections and the Aladdin/Lion King double pack. So, good times all around. Can't wait to play them all.
I got Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game, on the Switch, and played it all morning. Beat the game, and maxed out every characters stats, already. Will play the other modes later. And I have friends that want to play together later too. So, fun times all around.
I play everything I get. I try to beat everything I get as well. For years I kept buying game after game, and on some consoles, I had hundreds of games that I played for a little while but never beat, as I got new games, and kept jumping from game to game. So my backlog on those consoles was huge.
Starting with the Nintendo 3DS, I decided that I would make an conscious effort to beat every game I owned. Sometimes, on the 3DS, I would buy a new game when it came out, but not start it until I beat the previous games I owned, using the new unplayed game as motivation for completing the previous games. Tho, at times, I did start to play the brand new games too. In the end, I beat about 95% to 98% of the 3DS games I owned, both physical and digital games.
I kept that same "must beat every game" philosophy for the Wii U as well. Beat tons of games on that too. Had lots of physical and digital games on there, and made sure I beat as many as I could. I beat almost every Physical game, and most of the digital ones. I had a lot of both, but I had a blast with that console. Was one of my favorite consoles. Its vastly underrated. Then I got a Switch, and that's basically taken over everything.
For the Switch, I'm continuing the tradition of trying to beat everything I own. Currently I have over 300 games for the Switch, both physical and digital. I vastly prefer physical, but some games are just digital-only. So I buy physical games when available. But I still try to beat them just the same. That said, I'd say that digital games, I've beaten about half, give or take. Physical games I've beaten at least 75% of them. Still working on them all tho.
But, when it comes to video games, the more the merrier, I always say. There's a lot of games that are already out that I just haven't picked up yet, but plan on doing so. But there's also a bunch of games that I know are coming that I want to get too. So, I keep chugging away at trying to beat everything. A never ending battle, but, I'm ok with that.
Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, had 2 of my all time favorite ending songs on the Gameboy. In the modern Link's Awakening, I had fun playing through that again on the Switch, tho, I found that I liked the original Gameboy ending song better on the Gameboy. The Switch remake of the song was good, but not as good. I hope if they do remake Super Mario Land, that they keep the original ending song, or don't change it too much.
For those who haven't heard either, here they are. Enjoy.
Somebody's been watching the "Larry Bundy Jr" Youtube channel, before writing this article. Had a video on this exact thing just less than a week before this article went up.
@Kalmaro Hades is great. Have fun with it. I'll play it again soon enough. I have other games I'm trying to catch up on.
Also, I manually updated this update. I have Auto-Updates turned on, and it sometimes updates things, but not everything. Usually I wait a couple of months, and then manually go up and down the list to manually update everything, one by one. A few things I would see update on their own. But when I do it manually, there's usually 20 to 30 games that have updates that weren't updated automatically. Not sure why. I haven't done it in 3 months. Just went up and down my list of ~300 games (both physical and digital), and 48 of them had updates. I hope there's an "Update All Now" button coming at some point.
Famicom Wars is great. I had lots of fun with it. It's on the Wii U. That's where I played it the most. Tho, I played a lot more of the Advance Wars games too. Been waiting for the next installment of the series for a long time. Tiny Metal 1 & 2 and WarGroove were good. But still waiting for a true next title in the series.
Oh, I know exactly why they got divorced. There's definitely more to that story and situation. But this isn't really the time or place for that story. This article just reminded me of the story/situation. So I tried to keep it relevant to the ring situation.
As for how she lost so many rings, I'm not 100% certain. Without going into too much, she was a 'mamas girl' who refused to move out of her parents home. So yeah, she was married, with 3 kids, BUT, still lived in her childhood bedroom out of her parents house, and refused to move out. Yes, he lived in her bedroom, with the 3 kids, all out of that one bedroom, because she refused to move out into an apartment like he wanted to do.
As for "controlling", that was definitely her mom's thing. His mother-in-law was the controlling and demanding one. There's more to the story and that living situation (a lot more), but I'll leave it at that, since this really isn't the time or place for it all. This article just reminded me of the situation. So I was trying to keep it to just the relevant parts, with all of the missing wedding rings.
But yeah, there were definitely other reasons that also contributed to the divorce. And as far as the missing rings go, again, I'm not 100% certain how/where they were lost, given the living situation and circumstances, and knowing how seldom she left the house, and never had guests over. So, who knows for sure.
My ex-fiance's sister was terrible about losing her wedding rings. She lost her first one, and her husband bought them a whole new pair, so that their rings would still match. Then she later lost the 2nd pair, and he bought a 3rd pair, again so they would match. She lost the 3rd ring, then the 4th, and then the 5th. So he told her that that was it, he's not buying anymore sets. Said he's never lost his ring once, so he can't understand how she keeps losing hers. He said if she loses her 6th ring, then he will take off his ring on purpose and refuse to put it back on until she finds her ring. As he's tired of saving up money for stuff he plans on doing or getting or what not, but then have to spend that money on a new wedding ring set. So he was done buying her rings. He bought 5 sets in almost 4 years, give or take. Shortly after getting her 6th ring set, like maybe 2 or 3 weeks after that, she took her 6th ring off when painting her bedroom, as she didn't want to get paint on it, and put it on the dresser, but her 3yr old son climbed up and grabbed the ring and threw it, and they couldn't find it, and the husband, who was at work when the ring was lost, was furious when he got home and found out that she lost it again. So he purposely stopped wearing his ring, and refused to buy a 7th set. Things didn't go well, as there were other issues. But she kept insisting that he wear his ring, and that he buy her a 7th ring. He refused, to both. But she kept asking him to buy her another set and to put his ring back on. It didn't end well. They later got divorced, maybe 2 or 3 months later. But her losing her 6th wedding ring was the beginning of the end for them.
Also, as a side note, she didn't like video games, and wouldn't let him have any. Maybe, just a thought, if she had let him have video games, perhaps they could of found at least one of her rings in the console. But alas, no such luck, as there were no video games for them to search in, as she refused to allow video games in her home.
@Desrever @0ohHeWrong Yeah, for me, I don't mind starting to get into the groove of things. But after a while, I lose total motivation and am more interested in other things that come up. So, I only stick with stuff like that for so long. Once I have a good groove on it, I'll continue with it for a long while. But if something comes along that messes up my routine, its hard for me to get back in the swing of things again. Usually because I'm not interested in it anymore, or don't want to put the effort into it, or, because there's 1000 other things I'd rather be doing.
@Kezza64 Yeah, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition has tons of stuff to do in the game. I just beat Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, 100%. There's literally nothing left to do in the game. I beat every level. Unlocked everything there is to unlock. Upgraded everything there is to unlock. Maxed out all of the characters. etc. etc. There's literally nothing left to do, except to start a New Game and replay the entire thing all over again, from scratch. Took about 110 hours.
Also, I just watched The Completionists video on Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, and it took him over 1020 hours to 100% the game. Which, honestly, doesn't surprise me. I have well over 300 hours into it. About 350 hours, more precisely. And yeah, give my progress, i'd say I'm about 1/3 of the way done with the game. There's just so so much stuff to do. The Adventure Maps take forever to complete, and on lots of them you have to level up specific characters for specific levels, in order to advance on those maps. Even characters you don't, or rarely, use. And you either have to grind out playing with them to raise their levels manually, or, grind out with other characters just to make enough Rupees to level up the characters that way. So, yeah, takes a long, long time to 100% complete that game. Here's the video of it, if you want to check out what that all entails.. (good luck if you decide to play it. I do plan on 100% completing it myself, but, I'm going to take my time with it, as I have so many other games to play still)..
@rjejr I'm fine with the OS how it is. Folders don't really mean anything to me. I used like 2 on the 3DS. One for the demos, and I forget what the other was for. But otherwise, I didn't use folders on the 3DS. I just organized it the same way I organized things on the Wii U. I now have more games than I did previously, on the Switch. Currently, I'm at 75 Retail games, and 227 Digital games. Luckily I have a 1TB MicroSD Card, so, plenty of space for everything.
Honestly, I'd be ok if they just did what they did on the Wii U and 3DS, where there was a cartridge slot for the physical game, and then all of the digital games being shown how they are, with the ability to move the digital games around to organize them how you want it. Like, keep the Switch menu the way it is, but have a "cartridge slot" first in line, with whatever game was in your console, and then have the top ten most recently played games on the main screen, but then, when you go to the game list screen, the "All Software" screen, keep the default organizing sort filters (Last Played, Total Play Time, Title, Publisher), but add a 'Manual" option, where you can move and slide titles around how you want, so I can put the games I play the most up top for quicker access, and the games I play the least at the bottom.. or, maybe group similar type games or whatever. Just be able to manually move the games around to where I see fit, and then the stay there. And if I put anything in the top 10 or 12 spots, it changes what's on the main screen. That's really the only changes that would be needed. Folders are unnecessary. I'm not against having folders, I just wouldn't use them, personally. I couldn't care less about them, honestly.
I would also like to see a "Update All" button somewhere, so I can check for updates for all of the games at the same time, instead of having to Press + on each and every game and manually check for updates. I have Auto-Updates on, and I do see games update themselves, from time to time. But every 2 months, I manually check for updates, up and down all 300+ games, and there's usually, on average, between 20 and 30 games that had updates that didn't update automatically.
But yeah, that's all I would like to see happen. Just make it more like the 3DS/Wii U style (in the Switch's current format), where it removes the physical games from the list (tho they will still have the save data there in the save settings), and then add the ability to manually move the digital games around at will, to reorganize what games are where (besides just the default sorting filters).
Adding Folders seems unnecessary, and I wouldn't use them anyways. Well, except to put Demos in, which I don't keep anyways, nor do I count them when counting which games I have. As for Rows, I originally wanted a 2nd Row to have one for Physical games that require the cartridge, and a 2nd row for the Digital games, so you can have that better organized. But after thinking about it more, that would be unnecessary too. Just have a single "cartridge slot" like the 3DS/Wii U, and then add the ability to move the digital games/apps around, to manually reorganize the games/apps list, and that's all that's really needed. Everything else if perfectly fine how it is.
@Mr_Persona Nope. I wouldn't bother with it on there. I'm happy to play on PC, mainly. I basically got it on Switch because I had tons of Gold Coins, so I used those and didn't have to pay for it, and, because I can play with friends while I'm out and about. But otherwise, I'll play on PC when at home.
I finally 100% completed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity last night. Nothing else left to do. Completed everything on the map. Unlocked everything. Maxed out the levels of all of the characters, and at least 1 weapon for everybody. Found all of the Chests and Korok Seeds. etc. etc. Absolutely nothing left to do but to start a New Game and replay the entire thing all over again. I put about 110 hours into the game. Meanwhile, I have over 350 hours in Hyrule Warrios: Definitive Edition, and still have a LONG way to go to 100% that game.
But now that I'm 100% done with Hyrule Warrios: Age of Calamity, now I have other games to attend to.
Doom: Eternal Immortals: Fenyx Rising Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered Sniper Elite 4 Transformers: Battlegrounds Cobra Kai Pikmin 3 Deluxe Paper Mario: The Origami King Torchlight 3 Borderlands Collection Super Mario 3D All-Stars etc, etc..
Just to name a few. Not to mention to go back and play more of Hades, Clubhouse Games, Super Smash Bros., Among Us, Dead Cells, and a bunch of others. Perhaps another Swith playthrough of The Angry Video Nerd I & II games, just because. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
I played it on my PC first, and had fun with it. Played it on my phone afterwards, and it was still fun, but I didn't like to play it on my phone nearly as much. (I think it was the touch screen controls that I didn't like to play with so much). So I play it on my PC instead. But I got it on my Switch now, as I have lots of friends who want to play it, so, I'll get to play it with them on my Switch now. So, good times.
Back in the late 90's my cousin got this at a Goodwill store, along with Aerobiz, for $1 each. So, for $2 we got to play both games. Loved them both. Had a lot of fun with both. So now I always think of both games at the same time, since I got to play both at the same time. I even bought Sol Seraph on the Switch just because I liked ActRaiser so much. But Sol Seraph just isn't the same tho.
@ElectricBacon - I bought it on Amazon on a Black Friday deal last year. I currently have about 280+ games. About 80 or so physically, and the rest digitally. Still plenty of room for more games.
I have a 1TB MicroSD Card in my Switch, so, I have more than enough space. Space isn't a concern for me. Still, I'd prefer to have the game physically as opposed to digitally.
I'm in the middle of several games that I keep bouncing around..
Hyrule Warriors: Ago of Calamity Sniper Elite 4 Transformers: Battlegrounds Cobra Kai Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered Super Mario Bros 35 Pikmin 3 Deluxe Paper Mario: The Origami King Torchlight 3 Borderslands Triple Pack
as well as some other games I've already beaten before, like
Hades, Clubhouse Games, Resident Evil 4, and some others. So, my plate is full. Tho, I'm also adding Immortals: Fenyx Rising soon too. So, lots of stuff to keep me busy for a while. And I still have tons of other games too, these are just the most recent ones. Currently, I have about 280 games, both physically and digitally. So, lots of options.
Primarily I will be playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but I'll also be bouncing back and forth between Sniper Elite 4, Transformers: Battlegrounds, Cobra Kai, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Paper Mario Origami King, Torchlight 3, and back to some Hades again. So, my plate is full, but I'll definitely be having fun.
I found several in the demo, and they carried over as already being found when I started the full game. I'll happily search everywhere for all of them. I don't know how many there are in this game, but I imagine its considerably less than the literal 900 from Breath of the Wild.
Yeah, Gamestop called me to tell me that my Pre-Order has been cancelled because it's now Digital Only. However, I have a 1TB SD Card in my Switch, so, I have more than enough space. So I'm ok with it. But, as a physical collector, I'd prefer to have the physical version. Shame. I always choose physical when there's a choice between physical or digital.

Re: Random: An Eager 3DS StreetPass Fan Spent A Day In New York, Got Zero Hits
Re: Best Cheap Nintendo Switch Games - Switch eShop Deals (US)
Mechstermination Force is fun. Hard, but fun. I haven't played Severed yet, but I loved both Guacamelee games. I liked part 1, overall, better than part 2, but both are fun. 2 has more moves and combos, but story wise, I think part 1 is better. But I might finally try Severed out.
Re: Metroid Series Tops Wii U eShop's "Best Sellers" List Following Dread Reveal
Re: Talking Point: What's That One Switch Game You Can't Bring Yourself To Delete?
I have a 1TB SDCard in my Switch, and have all of my games on there. Physical and Digital game files/saves. Over 330+ games, total, combined. With room to add more. So, I'm good to go. Don't need to get rid of anything to make room for other things. So, that's good.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Nintendo Direct At E3 2021?
Hmm. for some reason, it's not putting a "*" next to Game & Watch, Skyward Sword, or BotW 2, and changed it to a little box instead. interesting. But yeah, plan on getting all of those too.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Nintendo Direct At E3 2021?
A - Fantastic.
Lots of great games in this E3 Direct worth getting and getting excited over. Almost all of them. Some of the other presentations had some good games too. But nobody else had as good of a presentation as this one, with so many good things all at once, together. Nintendo definitely earned their "A - Fantastic" Grade.
Re: Talking Point: Is It Worth Buying A Nintendo Wii U In 2021?
It was worth it then, and worth it now. I had a lot of fun with the Wii U. I still have lots of games for it. Its great. I now primarily play the Switch, but the Wii U was great in its day. Sure, it didn't sell as well as it should have, but, that doesn't take away from its greatness. I had a fantastic time, and fond memories, of the Wii U the entire time I've had it. I still have it hooked up. Again, I mostly play my Switch, these days, but, when my nieces and nephews come out, they love the Wii U too, for good reason. It's fantastic.
Re: Soapbox: Hurry Up And Release The Switch Pro Already, My Switch Is Dying
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 10th)
Re: Feature: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Is Secretly One Of The Best Zeldas
I didn't care much for Phantom Hourglass nor Spirit Tracks. And the stylus touch controls was part of the reason why I couldn't get into them. Both are definitely NOT in my Top 10 Zelda games.
Re: Talking Point: The Problem With The X Button
Re: Talking Point: Is Zelda An RPG, Or Not?
Zelda was always considered an "Action RPG" back when that genre used to be commonly used, for decades, in the past. Now, people don't use "Action RPG" much anymore, if at all, but, not sure why. So, yes, its technically an RPG, just in the "Action RPG" genre.
Re: Feature: Zelda: Majora's Mask Is A Testament To What Nintendo Is Capable Of When It Gets Weird
Re: There's A New Nintendo Switch System Firmware Update Coming Soon
Re: Video: Ten 3DS Exclusives That Could Be Better On Nintendo Switch
Advance Wars
Re: Review: Curse of the Dead Gods - Fans Of Hades Will Find Lots To Like Here
I played the Early Access version on PC. Bought it right away on Switch. Having fun with it. Definitely like Hades, but with a Mayan story, instead of Greek, as well as a few changes to how certain things are done. But still fun. Definitely play it if you like Hades.
Re: Poll: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
I already own, and beat, the game on the Wii U, but, will happily get it again on the Switch. So far, every Wii U port to the Switch I owned the Wii U, beat there, and got again on the Switch and beat there too. Fun times all around.
Re: Street Fighter II Turned 30 At The Weekend
Super Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Capcom vs SNK 2, are my top 3 favorite fighting games.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For February And March 2021
There's a lot of stuff listed here. Tho, out of everything, I only plan on getting...
100% - For sure will buy on the day it releases (already pre-ordered)
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
50% - Might consider buying, at some point
Little Nightmares 2
25% (at best) - Maybe if they go on sale one day
Asterix & Obelix
XIII
Other than these, there's not a lot I want to get from this list, even tho this list is admittedly pretty big. But, I'm positive that there will be lots of more games that I'd want to get, later this year.
Re: Can You Name All This Nintendo Hardware?
Nice, 20/20. Question 15 was a total guess. I had no clue. Just did process of elimination, and hoped I was right. 1 or 2 other guesses too. I wasn't sure about them. But otherwise, I knew what the rest were. So, good times.
Re: More Than Five Million Bowser Were Defeated In Super Mario Bros. 35's World Count Challenge
Re: Soapbox: I Never Completed Breath Of The Wild, And I Never Will
Once Breath of the Wild released I didn't play another single game until I had beat Breath of the Wild, with 100% (Korok Seeds and DLCs and all).
Re: Feature: Best Wii U Games
Re: Clubhouse Games Outsold Ring Fit Adventure, Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity And Paper Mario: The Origami King In France
Happily.
Re: Konami's Anniversary Collections On The Switch eShop Are Currently 75% Off (US)
I had been looking at these games, but haven't bought them yet.
Re: Reminder: Splatoon 2's Mario-Themed Splatfest Takes Place This Weekend, Pick Your Power-Up
Hands down, Team Star all of the way. Don't even have to think about this one. Easy choice.
Re: Here's A Closer Look At Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night's Classic Mode Update
I beat this game 3 times on the Switch already, but its been a while, so, ready to go back for more with this newest update.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th January (North America)
I got Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game, on the Switch, and played it all morning. Beat the game, and maxed out every characters stats, already. Will play the other modes later. And I have friends that want to play together later too. So, fun times all around.
Re: Talking Point: Are You A Player Or Collector?
Re: Best Of 2020: 8 Games That Could Really Benefit From A Modern Remake On Switch
Enjoy.

Re: Best Of 2020: The Game That Starred Mickey Mouse, Ghostbusters Or Garfield, Depending On Your Region
Somebody's been watching the "Larry Bundy Jr" Youtube channel, before writing this article. Had a video on this exact thing just less than a week before this article went up.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 10.1.0 Is Now Live
Re: Best Of 2020: 10 Nintendo Games We'd Love To See Finally Come To The West
Famicom Wars is great. I had lots of fun with it. It's on the Wii U. That's where I played it the most. Tho, I played a lot more of the Advance Wars games too. Been waiting for the next installment of the series for a long time. Tiny Metal 1 & 2 and WarGroove were good. But still waiting for a true next title in the series.
Re: Random: Nintendo Extracts Customer's Missing Wedding Ring From Their Wii U
@Jayofmaya @Ooyah
Re: Random: Nintendo Extracts Customer's Missing Wedding Ring From Their Wii U
Re: Poll: One Year Later, How Are You Getting On With Ring Fit Adventure?
@Desrever @0ohHeWrong Yeah, for me, I don't mind starting to get into the groove of things. But after a while, I lose total motivation and am more interested in other things that come up. So, I only stick with stuff like that for so long. Once I have a good groove on it, I'll continue with it for a long while. But if something comes along that messes up my routine, its hard for me to get back in the swing of things again. Usually because I'm not interested in it anymore, or don't want to put the effort into it, or, because there's 1000 other things I'd rather be doing.
Re: What's Up With The Frame Rate In The Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Demo?

Re: QubicGames Is Giving Away 10 Free Nintendo Switch Games: Today's Game Is Space Pioneer
Re: Poll: Among Us Is Out Now On The Nintendo Switch, Are You Getting It?
@Mr_Persona Nope. I wouldn't bother with it on there. I'm happy to play on PC, mainly. I basically got it on Switch because I had tons of Gold Coins, so I used those and didn't have to pay for it, and, because I can play with friends while I'm out and about. But otherwise, I'll play on PC when at home.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 19th)
Doom: Eternal
Immortals: Fenyx Rising
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered
Sniper Elite 4
Transformers: Battlegrounds
Cobra Kai
Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Paper Mario: The Origami King
Torchlight 3
Borderlands Collection
Super Mario 3D All-Stars
etc, etc..
Re: Poll: Among Us Is Out Now On The Nintendo Switch, Are You Getting It?
I played it on my PC first, and had fun with it. Played it on my phone afterwards, and it was still fun, but I didn't like to play it on my phone nearly as much. (I think it was the touch screen controls that I didn't like to play with so much). So I play it on my PC instead. But I got it on my Switch now, as I have lots of friends who want to play it, so, I'll get to play it with them on my Switch now. So, good times.
Re: Anniversary: ActRaiser Turns 30 Today, And There's Still Nothing Quite Like This SNES Classic
Re: DOOM Eternal Switch eShop File Size Revealed
@ElectricBacon - I bought it on Amazon on a Black Friday deal last year. I currently have about 280+ games. About 80 or so physically, and the rest digitally. Still plenty of room for more games.
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B08HCPTMJG/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=1tb+micro+sd+card&qid=1607114918&sr=8-4 .
Re: DOOM Eternal Switch eShop File Size Revealed
I have a 1TB MicroSD Card in my Switch, so, I have more than enough space. Space isn't a concern for me. Still, I'd prefer to have the game physically as opposed to digitally.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 28th)
I'm in the middle of several games that I keep bouncing around..
Hyrule Warriors: Ago of Calamity
Sniper Elite 4
Transformers: Battlegrounds
Cobra Kai
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered
Super Mario Bros 35
Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Paper Mario: The Origami King
Torchlight 3
Borderslands Triple Pack
as well as some other games I've already beaten before, like
Hades, Clubhouse Games, Resident Evil 4, and some others.
Re: Devolver Digital Cyber Sale Discounts Lots Of Switch Indie Favourites (North America)
I had fun with Pikiniku. Beat it twice. So much quicker the 2nd time around, once you knew everything. But still fun none-the-less.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 21st)
Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Korok Locations
I found several in the demo, and they carried over as already being found when I started the full game. I'll happily search everywhere for all of them. I don't know how many there are in this game, but I imagine its considerably less than the literal 900 from Breath of the Wild.
Re: Poll: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
I preordered mine so that I can pick it up on day one the moment the store opens. Going to have a lot of fun with this game.
Re: Doom Eternal For Switch Will No Longer Receive A Physical Release
Yeah, Gamestop called me to tell me that my Pre-Order has been cancelled because it's now Digital Only. However, I have a 1TB SD Card in my Switch, so, I have more than enough space. So I'm ok with it. But, as a physical collector, I'd prefer to have the physical version. Shame. I always choose physical when there's a choice between physical or digital.
