Re: Guide: Where To Find Your Course ID In Super Mario Maker 2

Lawnachaun

743-8XW-WFG - Probably the best, and most fun, and easiest, of the 3 I made.

30V-G9K-LTF - Fun stage, A bit shorter, but probably a bit trickier. Still easy.

43F-Y4G-YDF - Forgot to add a Check Point, and the middle can sometimes be slightly tricky for people, while the ending can be really tricky for people. So, try at your own risk. Overall pretty easy, except for maybe the middle for some, but probably the end for most.

However, their is an easy way to win all 3 stages. So even the tricky parts can be beat easily (which is why I forgot the Check Point in the one stage).

Feel free to try. The more the merrier. All are welcome. Good Luck.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 29th)

Lawnachaun

I beat Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (100%), and Super Mario Maker 2 (Story Mode), and I will no doubt play them both more.

Speaking of Super Mario Maker 3, I just uploaded my 3rd level. If you'd like to try it, it's here: I uploaded a few levels. My 3rd on probably being my best, so far. You can find it here... 743-8XW-WFG.

My 3rd stage is my most complete, and fun, stage, I believe. My 2nd stage (30V-G9K-LTF) is decent too. However, my 1st stage (43F-Y4G-YDF) I forgot to add a Check Point, and the ending (and a section in the middle) might be a bit tricky. Tho, there is an easy way to beat all 3.

So, if you'd like, feel free to try all 3. I suggest the 3rd stage first. All are welcome. The more the merrier. Good luck.

Re: Video: The Secret Super Mario Maker 2 Power-Ups We Couldn't Talk About

743-8XW-WFG - Here's a new level I created, using the Hammer. Anybody/Everybody is free to try it.

I tried adding the Supeball Flower, but it wouldn't let me. I unlocked it. In fact, I got it before I got that Hammer. But for whatever reason, it wasn't an option when making my new level. So I designed it around just the Hammer instead. But I'll try to make a Superball Flower level soon enough. Perhaps its just the theme I used that wouldn't allow it. I'm guessing.

Anyways. Good Luck to all who try it. It shouldn't be hard for anybody. Just good fun. Enjoy.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Has Already Received Its First Update

Lawnachaun

@sanderev Thanks. I put more time into that one, to make sure it was fair and playable. Still has the same trick as the first level, to help beat it really easily. If you've figured it out, great. If not, it'll definitely help in both levels. It's towards the beginning of each level.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Has Already Received Its First Update

Lawnachaun

@sanderev Here, try this level instead.. 30V-G9K-LTF

Same design style, only it should be easier, with more Power-Ups (including Fire Flowers, Invincibility Stars, and a Big Mushroom), a check point, no 'boss' at the end, and some secrets along the way. I was going to add a 2nd check point, but it said I reached my limit after 1. So I adjusted where the single Check-Point went, made things easier, and even had other people test it out a few times before I uploaded it, to get some design critiques and suggestions, and adjusted accordingly.

Good luck with that one. Shouldn't be too hard. I plan on making other style games, with more 'advanced' tools/techniques. But, just getting back into the flow of things. Been a while since I played the first game.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Has Already Received Its First Update

Lawnachaun

@sanderev Yeah. I spaced out the Monty Moles pipes a little further out, and added more mushroom spots there, to make it easier. I also added a checkpoint between the Monty Mole pipes and the the Bowser Duo, just before the flame pipes. I thought about putting another before the Monty Moles pipes, but now that they are spaced, with more mushroom, it feels like the two checkpoints would be too close to each other for that spot. And it (should) be really easy to get the Monty Mole spot. I'm not able to edit the uploaded level tho, I don't think. Will have to delete that one and re-upload a new one, I think. Will do that shortly.

In the meantime, the hint is towards the beginning of the level. There's a secret there that makes the level far far easier. I can give you another hint if you need one. But for now, check around the beginning area of the level.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Has Already Received Its First Update

Lawnachaun

@sanderev There are two mushrooms between the red pipes to help get through it, and another mushroom afterwards. So getting hit isn't a problem. Plenty of time to get a mushroom and get out, even if getting hit. And a Fire Flower would of made it too easy. Tho, a check point towards the end might work.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Has Already Received Its First Update

Lawnachaun

@quinnyboy58 Yeah. Same when the first came out. Give it time. Also, it helps to "advertise" your levels, to help get them out there for people to try. Speaking of which, you can try my first level, if you'd like. Not too hard. And there's a way to make it much easier, as I said in the previous post. Feel free to try, if you'd like. I'll make more later. Gonna work on Story Mode more soon.

@sanderev Ok. Just uploaded my first Super Mario Maker 2 level. It's slightly tricky in parts, but not hard. Especially the ending, which isn't too hard. Just timing. Tho, there is a way to make it much easier. But I won't spoil it. Feel free to try it, if you'd like. It's a full fledged level. Tho, kind of basic, for the most part. Should be easy enough to get you into the flow of the game. Good luck.

@sanderev When I played it, it said that nobody had played it yet. I even got the award for being the first to complete it when I beat it. I went a little slow, on purpose, since I wasn't sure what to expect. But I can definitely get a better time. Tho, I set the "record" when I beat it. But it didn't last long. Somebody beat it just a couple of mins after I did.

I'm in the middle of making my level. I have the beginning, and ending completed. Just working on the middle section.

Re: Random: HBO Uses Wii U Controller To Promote Streaming App Only On PS4 And Xbox

Lawnachaun

The Wii U was a fantastic system, even if it didn't sell well. Also, the Wii U Pro Controller is currently my all time favorite controller. It's very comfortable. I love the layout of the buttons and analog sticks. I feel that layout is perfect, and is what I had been wanting for years, and finally got. I like the Wii U Pro Controller better than the Switch Pro Controller, and better than any of the Microsoft or Sony controllers.

Re: Deals: This 256GB Micro SD Card Is Dirt Cheap And Perfect For Your Switch

Lawnachaun

@YANDMAN I just counted, and I definitely have more digital games than I expected. I knew I had over 30, but it turns out I had more than I realized that I had. I counted exactly 52 physical games, and 71 digital games (not including the apps for NES, Youtube, Hulu, etc, which I'll count as 'extra'.), and, not including any demos (which I've deleted them long ago, and never put any on the 256GB card. I also have Bloodstained: Ritual of the Knight coming in the mail, as it's the ONLY game I've ever backed on Kickstarter. So that should be arriving in a few days. So, another Physical game when that arrives. Picking up Super Mario Maker 2 next week when that releases too. Yet another Physical game to add to the list. Plus, again, many more games I have already Pre-Ordered and have on my Wish List, and, there are still games that have already been released that I still haven't picked up yet. But, soon enough. Definitely going to need a bigger card.

Re: Deals: This 256GB Micro SD Card Is Dirt Cheap And Perfect For Your Switch

Lawnachaun

I bought a SanDisk brand 256GB on sale for $29.99 a short while back. Still not enough space. I had a 128GB card previously, but it was constantly full, and I had to constantly remove games that I had beaten and didn't plan on playing anytime soon. So I upgraded to the 256GB card, thinking I'd be able to put everything back on my card, and have room left over. Nope. I re-downloaded everything, and found that I filled up the 256GB card immediately, and still didn't get everything on the card. So, now I'm looking for deals on 400+GB cards (as 1TB cards seems too expensive still).

Currently, I have over 50 physical retail games, and over 30 digital eShop games. With more physical games Pre-Ordered, and more digital games on my Wish List. I love my Switch. I've beaten most of the games that I bought for it. Still working on trying to beat the other games before the new games come out. But yeah, I'm already going to need a bigger SD Card. 400GB and higher are what I'm looking for now. My 256GB card isn't enough space for everything I currently own, and I have lots of games that I currently plan on getting, that are already announced, and I'm sure there are games that haven't been announced, or that I'm currently unaware of, that I'd want too. So, the more space the merrier.
