My stupid idiot elementary school self gave Pokemon Crystal to a friend (that I don't even talk to anymore). Other than that I lost my copy of Pokemon TCG for GBC somewhere along the way.
YES! I didn't think we would actually get one for BD! I would assume this means the last mystery one will be FF16? Although I'm with you @BenAV I would LOVE an Octopath 2 pack
I got my brother Octopath Traveler for his birthday back in 2018, and what an absolute gut-punch for him to open his gift and NO CART being in it. Of course the store wouldn't let us return it since how could we possibly have proved it wasn't in there.
My brother now films himself opening every game he gets lol
My first was XIII for the 360 and I really liked it. I realize now that that can be considered blasphemy Since then I've been able to get around to VII, IX, X/X-2, XII, XIII-2, Lightning Returns, XV, VII Remake, and Crisis Core Reunion. Hoping to eventually get the pixel remasters to experience the first 6 for the first time.
My parents got me both Nier: Automata and Dragon Quest XI for my birthday! I also used a gift card I got to grab Bayo 3. Still continuing through Monster Hunter Stories 2 and started Nier. What a weird/interesting game.
Continuing through Monster Hunter Stories 2. My parents are in town for family birthdays (there are 4 in October alone!) so I’m sure I’ll get a new game or two
Continuing on with Monster Hunter Stories 2. I'm enjoying it so far! Also looking to start Ori and the Will of the Wisps since I snagged it on sale the other week.
My wife got me Monster Hunter Stories 2 for my birthday! This will be my first game in the MH franchise, and I’ve heard good things about this game. Otherwise I’ll be checking out the Xenoblade DLC
Hoping to finish both Live A Live and Picross S Genesis. After that I may revisit Octopath to finally do the “true ending” in preparation for the new one. Also, my birthday is Thursday so I’m guaranteed to at least get some Xenoblade DLC!
Planning on finishing Live A Live. Also been doing lots of work on Pokémon Sword finally. After that I have a laundry list of games to work on so just trying to whittle it down
As a trombone player, I’m bracing for the inevitable onslaught of people asking me if I’ve heard of this game. But I also really hope this comes to Switch cause I’ll probably have wayyyyy too much fun
Planning on trying out the Harvestella demo, as well as working through FF7 and Live a Live. May also sprinkle in some Mario Kart and Xenoblade 3 unique monsters
Continuing through Pokemon Sword and starting 13 Sentinels (really looking forward to this one). I’ll also keep collecting stuff in LEGO Skywalker Saga
More Triangle Strategy and collecting in LEGO Skywalker Saga. I’m also planning on finally starting Pokémon Sword. Skipped it when it released originally
More LEGO Skywalker Saga, Picross S5, NSO Paper Mario, and Triangle Strategy. Some of these decisions in Triangle Strategy are starting to get serious man
After beating the superboss of SMTV this week I’m looking at getting the secret ending this weekend. I’ll definitely go back and see the other endings as well at some point. Otherwise I’ve started Aria of Sorrow in the Castlevania Advance Collection
Planning on spending this last week before SMTV trying to 100% the Age of Calamity DLC, revamping my AC island with all this new content, and I've also started Atelier Totori DX.
Plan to finish both Metroid: Dread and Atelier Rorona DX this weekend. After that I’ll probably continue working on No More Heroes and Cuphead (I’m so close to the end)
Been waiting for the trilogies to go on sale! The first Ryza was a blind purchase and I was hooked. Since playing it and it’s sequel I’ve been waiting for a sale to pick up one of the older trilogies. May go with Arland since it’s the oldest. I want to see how the series has evolved
Had a productive week. Managed to finish the first game of Great Ace Attorney, NEO: TWEWY, Picross S3, and Get It Together’s story mode. So naturally I’ll be starting the second game, working on NEO’s post game, and just having an all-around blast with WarioWare!
This was a blind purchase I made around the beginning of 2020 and I couldn't have been more pleased. The end of game had me like, "Well I have to see what happens now!"
Not gonna lie, that release date hurt. Was really expecting a surprise holiday release. BUT, if it means more time in the oven then hopefully it'll be worth it. This also means I won't be overwhelmed with games this fall/winter.
Having a blast with NEO: TWEWY (currently on the second week). This past week I finally finished Octopath after having it since August 2018. It sadly was kept in and out of my backlog this whole time, but I really enjoyed it. This weekend I'll probably start Great Ace Attorney and start chipping away at my backlog until WarioWare releases.
Continuing work through Octopath and NEO: TWEWY. Finally finished Ace Attorney Trilogy this past week, but I’m taking a break before I start the Great Chronicles.
My earliest memories are from being at a friends house who had a SNES, and playing Mario World and DKC. The first games I ever personally owned were Pokémon Blue and Yellow. My parents got this bundle that included the console, both games, and the strategy guide for Christmas. I still have that guide, and let’s just say you can tell it was heavily used
