For those worried about the touch controls while docked...I wouldn't be. Play World of Goo on Switch. The joycons can work fine for things like this as pointer devices. Just pop a small cursor on the screen to show what you are pointing at, and should be good to go.
Although, unless its greatly improved since then, I wouldn't recommend these types of controls for anything that you have to move quickly with, as it seems to de-sync and needs to have the cursor reset quite often with fast movements. But for something that's just simple point and click? Should work fine.
I used to love these "choose your own adventure" kind of books when I was a kid. Some that I "played" were really in depth, with actual character sheets you'd write up for your character, spots to list equipment, etc. I don't know if I read through these exact books or not, as that was years ago, but I've always loved this kind of stuff. I'll be getting this for sure!
@FragRed This is what I was wondering as well. There would be nothing stopping Nintendo from going: "Well...this is the newest rumor about our upcoming game...we've got plenty of cash on hand...so why not stoke the fires and lay a smoke screen?" I think it would be rather hilarious if that's what this was, actually. Nintendo hears the rumors...reads about what everyone is saying about them...and decides to pump up the rumors in the totally wrong direction by doing something like this.
I think that's the biggest question Nintendo needs to clarify is about the "family accounts". So does it mean you can just add anyone to your account to add up to 8 different users/switch units to share the online service? And then all 8 can be online at the same time? Or is there a limitation on the people that can be added...like same location or something? The price is great as it is, especially the family plan price...but the setup of the family plan, I think, needs more clarity from big N. I'm ready to set up my family account right now, since I have 3 Switches in the house (mine and my 2 daughters all have Switches now) so we can all play Minecraft together whether together or apart (my phone local hotspot wifi works great with my Switch if I'm not at home).
The bit is already up on YouTube...just looked it up. Its actually pretty incredible, and shows the genius of Labo and the ToyCon garage. They literally formed a whole band of instruments...without a single instrument...and it sounded pretty great. Nintendo really do have some just purely cool ideas.
That was quite an in-depth survey. Made me realize just how much my daughters have got me into gaming vids on YouTube going through the list to answer that question. lol
If anyone is putting down Paladins without having TRIED it first, then you really don't know what you are talking about. It is a game that is just as fun as Overwatch. Its not a clone, as it was in development before Overwatch was. It just happens to be another game in the same style as Overwatch. Its like saying "Fortnite is just a clone of PUBG, so I won't play it because its just a clone." If a game is good, I'll play it...and Paladins is a good game. Also, it will fill a nitch on Switch that no one else has bothered to want to do. I'm up for it!
@Ooyah The games are set up to play single or multiplayer. They usually make the game ramp up the difficulty automatically if you go to the multiplayer port, but all of the MH games are fully playable all the way through in single player, too. They can be a huge time sink...but that's part of the glorious monster hunting joy!!
Holy crap... FINALLY!!! I have MHW on my PS4...but what I have REALLY wanted since the Switch released was a MH on the go...to carry and hunt anywhere and everywhere! SWEET SWEET SWEET news to me!!!
Hmm...Generations Ultimate...so is this actually the XX coming over with a slight name change...or is it Generations with added content? I'm a little confused on that point...but...who cares? Its MH on the go on the Switch! HUZZAH!
Oh, it was fun. Although in the end one of my daughters took the win in the household...she whooped my high score by several more million. lol... But...it was a great time all around for us.
This tournament was great fun. Me and both my daughters (got them both Switches for tax time) played in it, and we all had a great time not only trying to jump onto the tournament list, but trying to outdo each other on the table as well. Since they tried it, they both want more tables (they only downloaded the game for the tournament, so only have the 1 free table available right now). One of them especially wants the Skyrim table; she made a new user on my Switch to try it out since I have it...and she got hooked). Looking forward to more of these being done!
Back when I had/used my 3DS, and when I'd check out RPG's on the eShop, I would always look at these...but I never quite pulled the trigger, and I've regretted it. Now...I won't need to regret any longer! Four games for that price...even if they are short...is sounding pretty great to me. Going to get these asap, I think!
I would DEFINITELY say go for the Bethesda tables. There are no other pinball games like them anywhere else, as far as I know. Simply great tables with fascinating mechanics (especially in the Skyrim table, my personal favorite).
On another note...I never had a problem with how the game played before the update...but after it...oh my...the tables all flow SO well and smooth and fast now. It all looks better too, from what I can tell. As someone else said earlier, it DOES feel like a whole new game in some ways. A better game, too. Going to have to pick up some other tables now, I think, beyond what I already have!
After hearing that Nintendo is going to give more info on the online service sometime in early May...I think that yeah...maybe it does have something to do with until we learn more about the service. So maybe that means that Bamco learned something new about the online service as well...something Nintendo told them recently that is going to be released to the public info scene...so they had to hold off/change things to compensate for this new info?
Actually, after watching and listening to this earlier, I am definitely interested. The music for me was great...I love a good RPG soundtrack. I also didn't mind the moving around and combat aspects, either. I would certainly be interested in checking this out if it came over here to the US!
I got these tables as soon as they are released. Pinball FX3 is one of my favorite things on my Switch...period. I have the freebie tables, bought the classics pack 1...the Jurassic Park pack (one of my favorite movie series of all time)...and these Bethesda tables. They are all amazing. The detail in them is simply incredible. I just wish they had carried over the character save feature from the Skyrim table to the Fallout table, rather than make you start with a new character every time you play it. And that Skyrim table...oh man do I love it so much! Being able to create a Skyrim pinball character...and carry it over game after game...trying to work missions and find armor and such (and having your 3D modeled character actually standing on the left side of the table with whatever armor/weapon you currently have equipped) is such fun! Not that I'm really any good at it...but its still amazing fun just the same. Same goes for the other two tables, although I prefer the Doom table over Fallout. All of the sound effects...musics...voice overs...combat...action...etc...in all of these games are soundly replicated in Pinball form. I can't wait to see what they are able to come up with tables next!
(Give me my Plants vs Zombies table from Pinball FX2 from Wii U already!!! I played that table to death on the Wii U and would love to have it back with me and everywhere I want to take it with me on my Switch!)
What I got out of this was this: Do they know Billy Mitchell used MAME for his scores as has been reported? No. Do they know that Billy used something/anything OTHER than an actual arcade cabinet to get his scores? Yes. Does this violate the rules for Twin Galaxies score submissions/records? Again...YES.
So therefore...whether it was MAME games or doodling on his grandmother's table top...Billy Mitchell did NOT follow the rules for gaining his high scores in Donkey Kong...which therefore revokes his record holder status. As Twin Galaxies says above...its not that they know HOW he was doing it...but just that they DO know for a fact that he wasn't doing it the way he was SUPPOSED to do so. So therefore I'd have to stand being Twin Galaxies in removing Mitchell from record sheets.
I'm trying to remember the name of an FMV game I played back in the day and loved it. "The 11th Hour" maybe? It was a kind of horror based FMV...but I thought it was great. These games CAN be fun, if done right. Sure...they are usually rather cheesy...but to me that's also a big part of their charm. Might give this one a try!
Have this on Wii U. Its actually a really good Minecraft-clone style game. Biggest difference between this and Minecraft? This one is actually a HARD game...it was initially way TOO hard if you asked me. You survive during day...building...gathering food/water (which constantly ticks down)...and bury yourself digging and mining at night. Because when the sun goes down...the island native inhabitants come out to kill you. BIG difference from Minecraft. But a very enjoyable survival game if you like...me, I'll get it!
As someone else said, there IS a single player game. Its pretty much you against the world, but everything from the multiplayer is available in single player mode. No real story to it...just build and survive...but its still fun. I'm not sure if a single player character can be ported into a multiplayer game though...but if it can, it would have to be with just whats on the character and nothing in your base or anything...because there would be no real way to port a whole base over...unless maybe personal online worlds? I don't know. The big problem for the online with me, was if you go away from the game for a while...don't expect any of your base to be left when you come back. Buildings become destructible by other online players after a time...so...you go offline for a week or so...and come back to find your base dismantled and someone else living in your place. It could get frustrating. I am however looking forward to having this on Switch (I have it on PS4) and having the single player mode portable. That should be a lot of fun.
The Switch is getting some pretty good JRPG goodness this year! XC2...Octopath...Ys...plus the smaller ones found on the eShop (as simple as they are...they are also rather fun and satisfying if you are looking for something to play for a few minutes at a time). Just one reason the Switch is rapidly becoming my primary gaming console over my PS4...having these great games on the go...with the ability to pop my Switch into sleep mode anytime...and pick up again later anywhere and everywhere whenever I have a spare minute or two...this is a console just MADE for me.
To me, this info just continues my belief that Nintendo's PR department has had a MAJOR shakeup and turn around since the WiiU days. From commercials to tournaments to Directs...everything seems to be placed much better and with WAY more thought than was put into the WiiU era advertising. Nintendo is REALLY swinging for the fences with the Switch... This year's E3 is something I am VERY much looking forward to (and continuing last years trend taking vacation time for to plop down in front of my laptop/TV for 3 or 4 days to take it all in).
This was my absolute favorite reveal in the Nindies info from earlier today. Watched Markiplier play through the whole game...and can't wait to play it for myself now on Switch. The game is absolutely hilarious. And to those complaining about the "graphics"...its a part of the games charm and humor. You either get it or you don't. I...for one...get it. Love the graphics in WoL...and cannot wait to get it day one for myself!
I downloaded the game...played the initial tables...and bought a few more (including the Jurasic Park tables...love those). I never really noticed any kind of off putting resolution or frame rate issues. I enjoy playing the game immensely, although it has some rather slow loading times in handheld mode...its still a ton of fun. I DO want to have my Plants vs Zombies table back from Wii U on my Switch version...one of my favorite tables! Although it is nice that they are going to put out a performance enhancing patch, I guess.
@Ziggy93 I was going to say the same thing. I think anyone asking "But can the system handle it???" forget that this is on PS3 and runs just fine. Also...I have to disagree with anyone that thinks this is a "must be online" game. I have it on my PS3...along with the Reaper of Souls update...and play the game 90% of the time or more solo.
I would get it again for Switch though as I love these hack and slash time sinks...gimmee that loot! lol
@PhilKenSebben Subnautica on Switch would be a GREAT thing. I haven't heard of it coming to any consoles though? Its one of the games I'd buy on my PS4 if it was coming there and NOT to Switch. After watching Jack and Mark play through the game...it looks like it would just be a ton of fun to take a slower approach and explore the world more. Unfortunately, I'm not a PC gamer kind of person...consoles only for me (for the most part).
I will be grabbing this up day 1! On Wii U I have Cube Survival...on 3DS I got both the early Minecraft clones...on PS4 I have Minecraft and DQ Builders and Trove (and ARK)...on Switch I have Minecraft and Portal Knights. I absolutly love these voxel building games, I have to admit. (I was never into them until my daughters got me into watching YouTubers do Minecraft videos...now we play them together.) And this one looks like a more forgiving ARK. At least...I hope so... My main problem with ARK is that I play a lot of different games at different times. I don't stay with one game (usually...unless its a big RPG that really pulls me in like XC2) until the end and swap games in and out. ARK really doesn't allow you to do this...as if you are away from it for any time you might as well kiss any progress you made on your base or whatever goodbye. As when you come back after a break you'll find it gone...and your unconscious body tossed in the ocean and drowned. I uninstalled it a while ago and haven't gotten back into it again yet...maybe I will to get ready for this. So if this game is more forgiving than that one...due to being targeted at a younger (+ older) audience...I will be VERY happy to jump back into the base building/dino hunting/survival extreme of ARK.
I picked it up right away. I've been meaning to get it on the PS4, but when I heard it was coming to Switch I held off. Sure...the phrasing can be a bit clunky...but let me tell you...this is a GREAT couch multiplayer game. The insults back and forth can be pretty hilarious, and trying to target your opponents weakness while streaming together an insult that makes sense (the game even tells you that the LESS sense an insult actually makes the LOWER your score will be) is just fun. Even the nonsense insults are funny. This is one review score I disagree with. It is a ton of fun locally, in the kind of way that Jackbox games are. Sure, its not something you are going to sit down and play for hours on end...but for the asking price ($2.00)...its a great way to just pop into and play a round or two of every now and again...or pull up at parties and have people go at each other. I still need to get Hollywood edition...but that one is supposed to be even better. Looking forward to it!
@LowKeyLoki Man oh man...I would LOVE to see a Shinig Force collection on Switch. That is one series I have adored for years, and I can even still go back and play and enjoy even SF1 to this very day!
As a parent and gamer I hope they DO open up a browser and other video aps like YouTube and Netflix. I and my daughters use all of te above on my PS4 AND WiiU at different times. It is VERY convienent features to have available. Especially with being able to jump on the browser without having to leave a game first to check email...FB...gaming sites...etc. Maybe some don't use it...but there are others that do.
@Captain_Gonru Unfortunately no. But luckily I have two sets of joycons for games like this (so four in single joycon games). I definitely suggest to anyone to buy a second set of joycons!
@Saemon Yes, it has online for up to four players. Two players local co-op split-screen. I have been wanting this, and been holding off on getting it until it came to Switch. One interesting thing I didn't see mentioned above, is you can use the same character across different game worlds (5 characters and 3 worlds per account). So you can start in single player, then jump into a friends game with the same character, which means your inventory travels with you. One of my daughters and I have characters that we have going in solo worlds, then we bring them together into a family world when we play together.
@Danrenfroe2016 I seriously thought that this generation...as with those in the past...I would be all about physical releases...having that sweet case...and the game whenever I wanted it. But now...with Switch...(although I must say it started with my 3DS XL before that got broken and ruined)...I've only got THREE physical games (Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Just Dance 2017 (which came with my Switch set)). EVERYTHING else I own...is digital. I pretty much keep Zelda in the cartridge slot...and having everything (mostly) that I own for Switch with me at all times right there on the embedded SD card (including Skyrim and Rocket League now)...its just too delicious to pass up. Have some friends come over? I pop the dock to the living room TV and boot up some Jackbox 3 or Rocket League.. Feel like lying back and relaxing? Pull it out of the dock and jump into Hyrule or Skyrim while lying back in bed...or switch between them! Have to make that last minute run to the bank or whatever...or have a lunch break at work? All my Switch games are right there whenever I want them for whatever time I do. I will be the first to admit it: digital has spoiled me now...and I'm pretty sure most of my game purchases are going to be digital from now on...with occasional purchases from Gamestop for buy 2 get 1 deals or things like that. I just enjoy having all my games right there in my hand whenever I want to explore any of them or waste some time at any time to pass that up. Well...except Xenoblade Chronicles 2...that bad boy is going to be hard copy and might just replace Zelda as my go to Switch hard copy game.
@Ikana64 Yes, you can. From my previous comment, after we got home...that same daughter and I popped the Switch back in the dock and went online together, played some splitscreen online multiplayer matches together. SO MUCH WIN for just $20 is pretty astounding.
@Oubie It DOES have split screen local for up to 4 players...and you can single joycon it. The only control loss in single joycon play is the camera controls, but just hit X to turn on ball camera, and it always keeps the camera looking towards the ball (I play in this camera mode mostly anyway now, either in single or dual joycons). And I can say for a fact that it plays just a great in single or dual joycon play. I took my Switch with me to pick up one of my daughters from an after school thing, and my other daughter and I played a few local matches in the car in the parking lot while waiting for my other daughter to come out. When people say this is truly an exceptional local multiplayer game...they are totally right. The local multiplayer is TONS of fun! And since you can set bots for the other members of your team, all game modes are available with anywhere from 1 to 4 local players. OR you can set up to 8 Switches locally and do full on 4v4 matches.
I pre-ordered and downloaded the game to my Switch already...now just have to wait for the unlock! ARGH! I've also been watching the eshop popular list since then, and noticed that Skyrim hasn't left the top list since then...and that's just based on pre-order sales. The game isn't even out yet! I would say this is going to sell just fine on Switch!
Waiting anther 15 hours for this to unlock is going to kill me...but I WILL play Skyrim at work during lunch tomorrow! WOOHOO!!!
As I see it, the problem with the "you have to wait and see what we've got cooking" argument...is they haven't SAID anything about "something cooking". Capcom is rapidly falling (with Nintendo fans) into the same category as EA now: they have gone too long dismissing and putting down Nintendo hardware, while not giving the fans what they WANT over here. Is it nice to have RE1&2? Sure, I guess...but no one ASKED for those. Okami? Resi 7? Monster Hunter XX? THOSE are the games that people have been asking for on Switch. The longer Capcom goes with putting out statements like this...making it look like they kept their company afloat on the backs of Nintendo hardware (3DS) with MH games...put out Switch XX in Japan exclusively...and put out statements sounding like they are putting down the Switch hardware as inferior...ALL without even giving a HINT to their (possibly by now former) fans of the games they actually WANT on Switch...and all the company is doing is further and further alienating Switch fans....the same way EA has done to Nintendo fans over the last recent years. All Capcom would have to do is say "Yes...we are working on Okami/MH/whatever...it will just take time and won't be out till 2018 at the earliest" and fans would be HAPPY with that. They would be FINE with the company saying something like this, and Capcom would help to vastly improve the sour image Switch owners have of their company right now. But do they do something as simple and easy as that? NO. Hell, Switch fans would even be happy by now with a DEFINITIVE answer of "No, we are sorry, but we are not porting any of these games to the Switch no or later." At least then we would know SOMETHING for sure. These innocuous comments from Capcom, I feel, are to try and keep SOME folks hanging onto their hopes, while hoping these same gamers will buy whatever other games Capcom chooses to pop out in the meantime...while still not giving fans what they WANT from them.
Even with money being in short supply...I've gotten 19 games for my Switch (and that's not counting my PS4 and 3). Only 3 of those are physical. And there are so many more that I WANT to get (I will be downloading Skyrim on release...don't want that out of my system!) including tons of indies and physicals I just can't afford right now. I've said it before and will say it again: best system launch year for software I've ever seen. And its not even over till March!
@faint This is my problem now! Skyrim Switch is one of my personally most anticipated games coming out. But I did NOT expect DOOM this soon! Now I have the dilemma of which to buy now and which to get later. :'-( Its a great year to be a Switch owner. Best console launch year by far out of any system I can remember (and I've been playing since Atari)!
Finally got to download this and start playing tonight after work. I've been looking forward to this since I first heard about it from here during E3. I'm a sucker for match 3 games that have a twist and added things to them beyond just "move one to match the gems" (although its sometimes relaxing to pull up Bejeweled on my PS3 on infinite mode). After playing through the tutorial and first few missions, I can see this is a game I am going to enjoy immensely! The combat/upgrade system is DEEP. I can just imagine things getting really tough and difficult as the war goes on. There's a deep sense of strategy to the game, both in and out of combat. I found it a little startling at first that there were no "easy" difficulty missions to ease you into the game beyond the tutorial levels, but I'm fine with that. This one is going to be great fun for me getting in to.
Oh, and about the text as asked about above...sure, its small in handheld mode...but really quite readable even at that small size. I haven't tried it on the TV yet, but will probably tomorrow. It should look even better there, I'd imagine. Looking forward to carrying on this adventure!
@Ralizah i agree completely that match 3 games can be great fun. Puzzle Quest and Galactic Quest are both really good examples. My favorite so far, however, is Gems of War (either on PC/mobile or PS4). That game, to me, is just such great fun. And add in the "online multiplayer" (saying it like that because you don't actually battle against other...just their decks/armies controlled by an AI) and the online chat room that's built into the game...and to me its a hit. Very deep game design when it comes to finding what cards work well together to form your little armies. I really REALLY hope the developers expand it out to a Switch version (the game is f2p on all systems...but you can of course spend money on the game shop for extra cards, etc), which would then be the third time I'd probably spend enough money on the game to get to VIP rank 3. lol... I wouldn't even mind starting all over again.
@Hokanchu Minecraft is all about just letting your imagination go and run wild. In the base game, that is. With the Better Together update that is coming out...and they add in Realms and servers...then we console Minecraft players can join into the many online game versions of Minecraft (the different "war" variation games, the mini-game runs, etc). The idea behind Minecraft is that you can just build...explore...craft/create...just be free with your imagination. That's what has drawn so many into it...and why the most popular Minecraft YouTubers have such a strong and strongly loyal following. From watching them...you can tell they don't just play it for the "YouTube job"...they do it because they LOVE it.
@Freelance By "always be console" I meant that as my primary source of gaming. I'm just not much of a mouse/keyboard kind of gamer. For example, any kind of FPS game I've played...I've played on consoles. I'm just not really into mouse/keyboard. I prefer a solid controller, with maybe a keyboard hooked to the system for chatting, like for in MMO games. But...yes...my laptop that I have is...quite old. lol... It probably wouldn't run the majority of games I have on my PS4, and maybe not even the Switch games I have. I mostly keep it around for playing EQ and a few other older f2p MMO games on.
@Freelance True...but I've always been and always will be console. lol... I just pick them up when they pop up on consoles...although its much less often these days. Sim City on SNES is STILL one of my favorite classics to this day. I wish they'd bring it to a VC service somewhere! lol
I do do some gaming on PC, but its mostly just for f2p mmo's...although I have several of those I play off and on on my PS4 now, so...
@Freelance Oh man...just as I'm a sucker for match 3 games...I'm also one for these kind of sim/building games. lol... One reason I got that Pioneers game on Switch (its fun...but MAN that main story mode is difficult!). So...yeah...I'll probably be getting this one this week too. Thanks for the info link!

Re: Event: The First Official Nintendo Life Pinball FX3 Tournament
@vicferd
Re: Dark Souls: Remastered Switch Network Test "Will Arrive Later" Than PS4 And Xbox One
@Kejomo
Re: JRPG Another Eden: The Cat That Travels Through Space And Time Is Coming To Switch
Actually, after watching and listening to this earlier, I am definitely interested. The music for me was great...I love a good RPG soundtrack. I also didn't mind the moving around and combat aspects, either. I would certainly be interested in checking this out if it came over here to the US!
Re: Hands-On: Checking Out Pinball FX3's Bethesda-Themed Tables
Re: Feature: The 26 Best Nintendo Game Boy Games Of All Time
Wait...no Final Fantasy Adventure??? You heathens!!!
Re: Steve Wiebe Recognised As First Million Point Donkey Kong Record Holder As Billy Mitchell's Scores Are Nuked
@ozyr
What I got out of this was this:
Do they know Billy Mitchell used MAME for his scores as has been reported?
Re: Review: The Bunker (Switch eShop)
I'm trying to remember the name of an FMV game I played back in the day and loved it. "The 11th Hour" maybe? It was a kind of horror based FMV...but I thought it was great. These games CAN be fun, if done right. Sure...they are usually rather cheesy...but to me that's also a big part of their charm. Might give this one a try!
Re: Cube Life: Island Survival 2018 Is Building Up To A Switch Release Later This Year
Have this on Wii U.
Re: Ark: Survival Evolved Dev Says The Difference Between PS4, Xbox One and Switch Isn't As Big As You Might Think
@Varkster
Re: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Secures Late June Release Date On Switch
The Switch is getting some pretty good JRPG goodness this year! XC2...Octopath...Ys...plus the smaller ones found on the eShop (as simple as they are...they are also rather fun and satisfying if you are looking for something to play for a few minutes at a time). Just one reason the Switch is rapidly becoming my primary gaming console over my PS4...having these great games on the go...with the ability to pop my Switch into sleep mode anytime...and pick up again later anywhere and everywhere whenever I have a spare minute or two...this is a console just MADE for me.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Switch And Splatoon 2 Tournaments Will Take Place At E3 This Summer
Re: West Of Loathing Is A Wild West-Themed RPG Full Of Stickman Cowboys
This was my absolute favorite reveal in the Nindies info from earlier today. Watched Markiplier play through the whole game...and can't wait to play it for myself now on Switch. The game is absolutely hilarious. And to those complaining about the "graphics"...its a part of the games charm and humor. You either get it or you don't. I...for one...get it. Love the graphics in WoL...and cannot wait to get it day one for myself!
Re: Flipping Heck, That Pinball FX3 Switch Patch Is Coming After All
I downloaded the game...played the initial tables...and bought a few more (including the Jurasic Park tables...love those).
Re: Sounds Like Blizzard Really Is Porting Diablo 3 To Switch (Even Though It Said It Wasn't)
@Ziggy93
I was going to say the same thing. I think anyone asking "But can the system handle it???" forget that this is on PS3 and runs just fine. Also...I have to disagree with anyone that thinks this is a "must be online" game. I have it on my PS3...along with the Reaper of Souls update...and play the game 90% of the time or more solo.
I would get it again for Switch though as I love these hack and slash time sinks...gimmee that loot! lol
Re: Ark: Survival Evolved Spin-Off PixARK Will Roar Onto Switch This Year
@PhilKenSebben Subnautica on Switch would be a GREAT thing.
Re: Ark: Survival Evolved Spin-Off PixARK Will Roar Onto Switch This Year
I will be grabbing this up day 1!
Re: Review: Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator (Switch eShop)
Re: Mercenaries Saga Chronicles Brings A Trilogy Of Tactical RPGs To Your Switch In February
@LowKeyLoki
Man oh man...I would LOVE to see a Shinig Force collection on Switch. That is one series I have adored for years, and I can even still go back and play and enjoy even SF1 to this very day!
Re: Rumour Buster: That New Switch Firmware 5.0 Leak Is Amazing, But Fake
@fortygamer
Re: Review: Portal Knights (Switch eShop)
@Captain_Gonru
Unfortunately no. But luckily I have two sets of joycons for games like this (so four in single joycon games). I definitely suggest to anyone to buy a second set of joycons!
Re: Review: Portal Knights (Switch eShop)
@Saemon
Yes, it has online for up to four players.
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
@Ikana64 Yes, you can. From my previous comment, after we got home...that same daughter and I popped the Switch back in the dock and went online together, played some splitscreen online multiplayer matches together. SO MUCH WIN for just $20 is pretty astounding.
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Switch)
I pre-ordered and downloaded the game to my Switch already...now just have to wait for the unlock! ARGH! I've also been watching the eshop popular list since then, and noticed that Skyrim hasn't left the top list since then...and that's just based on pre-order sales. The game isn't even out yet! I would say this is going to sell just fine on Switch!
Waiting anther 15 hours for this to unlock is going to kill me...but I WILL play Skyrim at work during lunch tomorrow! WOOHOO!!!
Re: Monster Hunter XX On Switch Helps Capcom Post Impressive Growth
@MegaTen
Re: Soapbox: The Switch Has a Big Problem, and It's Too Many Great Games
Even with money being in short supply...I've gotten 19 games for my Switch (and that's not counting my PS4 and 3). Only 3 of those are physical. And there are so many more that I WANT to get (I will be downloading Skyrim on release...don't want that out of my system!) including tons of indies and physicals I just can't afford right now. I've said it before and will say it again: best system launch year for software I've ever seen. And its not even over till March!
Re: The Latest Zelda: Breath of the Wild 'Tip' is All About Selfies
@Nincompoop I've thought about a Zelda MMO on more than one occassion. There is plenty lore and a big enough world for it.
Re: DOOM Confirmed for Nintendo Switch Launch on 10th November
@faint This is my problem now! Skyrim Switch is one of my personally most anticipated games coming out. But I did NOT expect DOOM this soon! Now I have the dilemma of which to buy now and which to get later. :'-( Its a great year to be a Switch owner. Best console launch year by far out of any system I can remember (and I've been playing since Atari)!
Re: Bethesda Says DOOM And Wolfenstein 2 Are "The Start" Of A Nintendo Relationship
@Giygas_95 Indeed. cough Bayonetta Peach cough I would say never say never!
Re: Review: Ironcast (Switch eShop)
Re: Steampunk Turn-Based Strategy Game Ironcast Lands On Switch On 10th August
Re: Ninterview: Joseph "Stampy Cat" Garrett On Minecraft's Future And Why Switch Is His Favourite Nintendo Console
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th July (North America)
Re: Rogue Trooper Redux Price and Release Window Revealed
I never played the original version, so I will most probably be getting this one, as it looks fun to me.
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th July (North America)
@Freelance True...but I've always been and always will be console. lol... I just pick them up when they pop up on consoles...although its much less often these days. Sim City on SNES is STILL one of my favorite classics to this day. I wish they'd bring it to a VC service somewhere! lol
I do do some gaming on PC, but its mostly just for f2p mmo's...although I have several of those I play off and on on my PS4 now, so...
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th July (North America)
@Freelance Oh man...just as I'm a sucker for match 3 games...I'm also one for these kind of sim/building games. lol... One reason I got that Pioneers game on Switch (its fun...but MAN that main story mode is difficult!). So...yeah...I'll probably be getting this one this week too. Thanks for the info link!
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th July (North America)
@Freelance Thanks! I'll give it a look now.
