I am loving what Nintendo has shown us thus far! As much as I love my little XL I'll probably being grabbing one of the New Standard 3DS, I have fallen in love with black one (the face buttons stand out yet still retain a classy Nintendo look). And the customizable faceplates...how is that only at 4%!??!??!!??!!?!??!??!?!?!??!?!??! Easily the one reason swaying me away from the XL. Either way I can't wait, 2015...is going to be good.

I'll repeating a lot from my other post, but man, I haven't been this hyped for a new handheld for years! The original was great and all and I wasn't too pleased when Nintendo dropped the price or announced the XL. As my picture shows I did end up getting an XL about 6 months post launch and fell in love with it. 2DS, eh didn't care, but I got one for $35 (with Pokemon Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) from my brother so huzzah. This though.... this handheld looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two models to choose from day 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Faceplates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gah! The hype is real! As I said before Nintendo and their stopgap handhelds (GBC and DSi) are some of my favorite handhelds OF ALL TIME! I think we should look at this revision more like the GBC then the DSi....however I doubt (we are still so early in this development) beyond Xenoblade that the New 3DS will get many, good big name exclusives. So everyone keep your pants on! I will be getting this (and trading in that 2DS) and Xenoblade, this will be a nice holdover till the 4DS-Boy

Planning on adding some money in and giving this game ago. I want to see small developers like this make their money back. So long as they have a good product I will buy it.

Well, well...I likely will never get or play the Wii version simply because I prefer handheld gaming, I can see the graphics have been scaled down, but I want to play Xenoblade so I will be getting this and one of the New 3DSes

My God its the Gameboy Micro 2.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my little GBM, but the faceplates are the hardest thing to find for it, if this wasn't a feature I'd go right to the New XL, but this changes...everything.

Ha! To think I thought old Ninty would get through the year without announcing a new 3DS boy oh boy I was wrong! Still...this (from what I know about the Gameboy and DS lifespans) is the first time Nintendo has released 4(!!!!!) (Really 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) handhelds in one handhelds lifespan very odd, but the times are a changin...Well I ain't gonna lie Nintendo and stopgap handhelds tend to be phenomenal (GBC and DSi come to mind) so I will be getting one. Especially considering that Xenoblade is only playable on that Now the real question is I went from launch day model to XL...but to go small again or stay big???? Eh I got a few months...but those faceplates though...

I've had my eye on this title since its release on PC last year, and I am very glad to see it is coming to the U. I for one will definitely get it.

Boulder Dash XL 3D for me today. Only have $2.90 in my account, and the value for a $1.70 sounds incredible!

Not bad at all! But, the real question is how will the legs on Hyrule Warriors play out??? Warriors is pretty popular in Japan so I'll keep an eye out over the next 2-3 weeks.

Didn't happen
(In all seriousness this isn't that big of a deal folks! Pokemon been on IOS before this isn't the end of Pokemon or Nintendo... so don't go OMG WORLDS ENDING!!!!!!!!)

Love this game on my GBC, hope more get to play it now that is on the 3DS. for $5 it is a complete and utter steal (BTW I also got it for $5) Give it a shot everybody!

Wow really people, really, really??? Is this really happening in 2014? A genderswapped Link would freshen up and add dare I say a new twist to the classic Zelda formula. Would playing as a female Link really change the core gameplay??? NO! And is what is most important not whether or not you're playing as a boy or a girl, good gameplay. A female or male or somewhere in between Link wouldn't and shouldn't kill The Legend of Zelda series.

Some many, many great games on the Game Boy. I went for Pokémon, but Tetris, Link's Awakening (DX), 6 Golden Coins and Donkey Kong are all right up there for me at least. Quite honestly its pretty hard to not find something you'll love on the Gray Brick (or the Pocket or even the Color!)

Awesome! I just picked this cart up a few days actually, but I might double dip just to have a manual So far from what I've played it is really, really fun. Control is a bit wonky and I keep forgetting how control the games....XD Love graphics, music is okay for what it is though it works. Definitely gives off a Xtreme late 90's early 00's vibe. I recommend it highly!

I for one came onto the Game Boy scene far, far later than most. I am only 16 so naturally I was born right around the end of the Original's lifespan and just before the Pokémon cult of the late 1990's began My first handheld seven years later in 2004 was the Gameboy Advance SP. I got into collecting handhelds little over four years ago with...the Gameboy Micro. I got the Color and Original within a month of each other in fall of 2011(october and November respectfully, yes the Color came first) and the rest they say is, well, history. Today I own north of 18+ handhelds and my Gameboy Original/Color game collection is by far the largest retro handheld game collection I have (in close-ish 2nd in the Advance and a distant 3rd is my Neo Geo Pocket Color or Atari Lynx...) So many brilliant and fun games, I will admit I seldom play on the Original, but since getting a Pocket...black and white has been in baby! The Color is still my favorite of all the 'Boys, but the Original definitely has its place Happy birthday Game Boy! Here is to another 25 years of pea green handheld gaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a strange little game, but fun and brilliant one at that. Definitely check it out this price if you're over in the UK...I think you might be surprised

I'll keep an eye on this, but I loved Axis back 2011 and still play it to this day so probably not. Sure it isn't Tetris DS, but it is a very solid Tetris game. This looks pretty good, disappointed there won't be a Wii U version...but once I get my NES fixed I'll have plenty of console Tetris fun to last a good while!

NES Remix, Doc Luigi, and of course Earthbound. I'll head over to my DDP page and see how many points I need to hit another $5 eShop card. Probably NES Remix, still glad we're getting something!

Glad, not surprised, that Lucina is in. I am surprised Robin is in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been thinking of replaying Awaking for some time, Permadeath stopped me long ago on Chapter 11 or 12 I think...hate to say it 2nd play through I am doing it on easy (save Permadeath for a 3rd playthrough)

You know I like it. Ubisoft has done good with the U, Splinter Cell, 2 Assassins Creed games, ZombiU, Child of Light, some Just Dance (whether you like it or not it is something...) and don't forget they could've canceled Watch Dogs, they know they'll lose money...but it is still coming out. Sure the whole Rayman thing was a debacle and I'm not happy by it either, it is still one of the best games on the U. So there is my 2 cents on this trophy.

I for one got this way back in 2011 around the original launch for $30!!!!!!!! Now it is the rarest game on the 3DS (released in North America at least). I for one loved it, but the graphics sure aren't for everyone. It is nice to play a different graphic style of the same old Cave Story. For those that have + already downloaded...don't go for this one from what I've heard that has more content.

Tricky, tricky. I've beaten Phantom Hourglass, a Link Between Worlds, Fourswords Anniversary and OoT 3D. I've played Skyward Sword, The Legend of Zelda, and just started Windwaker HD.....tough question! I'll think on it and vote on this later!
