HandheldGuru97

Lets see...I'll be getting:

Smash 3D (and U for Christmas)
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire
Fantasy Life
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call
Story of Seasons

I'll be keeping an eye on:
Harvest Moon the Lost Valley

Not as bad as it looked earlier this year no 2013, but hey this isn't to bad especially considering Fantasy Life is coming out here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Soapbox: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Tomodachi Life

HandheldGuru97

While many of you may still be on the fence let me just say that this a fantastic game! Game of the Year???? Nope, but a fun simple zany Nintendo game. It is not at all like New Leaf, rather more so like the Sims. You don't control your Mii's they just do what they want, you're there to push 'em along. Feed them every now and then, create friendships, bud romantic relationships. It may not sound like much but it is brilliant. It is fun and sooooooooooo quirky. I wholeheartedly recommend it to you all. Give it a try is all I'm saying...you'll be surprised.

Re: Review: Shovel Knight (3DS eShop)

HandheldGuru97

Oh....................I wasn't planning on getting this, but now??????? $15 is a little high for me, but in July maybe I'll pick up another $20 eShop card now that I have a stable job and pretty decent paycheck...On the game itself it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use my 3DS more so I'll be getting this version, Streetpass seems to be used in a superb way and I like the sound of the 3D! Will be getting.

Re: Review: Pac-Man Collection (Wii U eShop / Game Boy Advance)

HandheldGuru97

I still have this cart on my GBA, and I play it pretty frequently despite it being one of the first Gameboy games I got 10 years ago!!!!! A great Pac collection over all, hate that it doesn't save high scores, but now that it is a VC game it probably works a bit better. If anyone is on the fence, my advice is give it a try if you are looking for some Pac-man on the U!!!!!!!!!!

Re: E3 2014: Fantasy Life for 3DS Gets a North American Release Date

HandheldGuru97

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahem, well thats now out of the way, finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this game for years, this E3 was disappointing on the 3DS side of things, but with this???? I think I'm in good shape! Well goodbye life all over again.....

Re: XSeed Games Localizing Newest Harvest Moon for North American Release

HandheldGuru97

Huh. Strange to see them giving Natsume the cold shoulder like that, but financially this makes sense for Marvelous (for Natsume this could cripple them...) I was on Xseed's Facebook page and fans already seem to be spreading the word that it is a Harvest Moon game which is huge. Who knows maybe a new name will breathe life into this series and get more people playing it! At any rate I loved A New Beginning and Xseed's work on Rune Factory 4 so I shall be getting this (but it'll still be Harvest Moon to me )

Re: Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Confirmed For Worldwide 3DS Launch in November

HandheldGuru97

Is this the real life!??!?!?!??!?!???!??!? Is this just fantasy??!?!?!?!??!?!?!? YUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise be the lord!!!!!!!!!!! I have waited so many many moons for this day to come...many. Sapphire holds a near and dear place in my heart as my 2nd Pokemon game (Christmas 2007, 1st was Diamond a month earlier). Still have the game to this day, sadly the time mechanics no longer work due to the death of the battery, just happy to have the save data still. I am beyond happy, thank you Nintendo, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Talking Point: What We Want To See From Nintendo's Next Handheld

HandheldGuru97

Hrmmmmmmmmm....I agree with you guys on some of these parts, but not all of them. My two cents is physical media shouldn't be left out of the Next Nintendo Handheld. I own 30+ carts for my 3DS spread over two Club Nintendo cases and yes its a pain in the ass to swap games, I still prefer it to digital. It is still too soon for physical media to die, we saw what happened when early rumours swirled about the PS4 and XBone ditching disc drives, if we make to more handheld cycles after the 3DS then we'll talk (that would be about the middle of 2020's!!!!!) Also I'm not to worried about the graphics arms race. Never has matter to me, don't know why gamers are always like "OMGZ Graphicz are da bomba!!!!!!!" All I care about is Gameplay, Music, Story, Controls (not exactly in that order mind you). Hell I still think the 3DS graphics looks pretty damn good (showing its age a little but but not much). Lastly gimmicks, and I hate to say this but in the post App Store explosion in popularity world we live in, Nintendo may have to get gimmicky to survive. There needs to be something, "unique and fresh" about the Next Nintendo Handheld and including something new that may or may not be a gimmick may just give them the upper hand on Apple, Google, Amazon and Samsung. Anyway thats just my two cents
