So if i buy the switch 1 version.if i want later to play it on switch 2 should i have to rebuy it?

From what I saw in trailers, its horrible. The animation, the physics of the bike, the design of it, the empty areas, how it slides etc. Hope it was from an early build.

TBH 3rd party support if you already have a PC or Xbox or PS5 is somewhat mediocre. Except for very specific games, all the others are republished software that everyone with another system already played. So, I expect more.

99.9999% of players first pressed B. So... NO. Changing ideas just because you feel like it... is not a nice idea. OK we got used to it but its wrong to the core. Imaging if we played footbal and when we need to score to the left, shoot to be Y and if we need to score to the right to be A... JUST because someone things it feels more natural.

I had the original Switch so... I didn't get on the "hype OLED train". So, I really don't mind. But I can understand OLED people...

If a game is big and dont fit in the card, I just get it digital. Having a card just to download a game and then be forced to have the card to play also, is a no go for me.

@Spider-Kev I am talking as an AAA title budget with online multiplayer support of 12-24 players. Not a N64 remake.

A StarFox Shooting game. I cannot explain HOW GOOD it would be a mode with air battles as we had on N64, but now online.

I would never buy from a store like that. I red flag them and let all my friends know about theses practices.

@WhiteUmbrella the check is with the game card its self so as long as you have this gamecard you have lience to play

@X68000 Code in the box is way better than this. Code in the box is a digital purchase and once you install it you play it whenever you want. This monstrosity takes up space AND requires from you to have a cartridge with you. I' m definitely not in the hype train. Ill probably buy digital those.

If we had 1TB SSD I would be ok. Now with 2-3 game key cards the space will be near to zero. So I am definitely not ok with this.

@Hero-of-WiiU I tried... 😂 But couldn't stand it. There where moments of just a calm scenery on a place of the map and the music was like if Blade entered the Club ending vampires 😄

If its for a second screen. My bet is that it will be to a mobile device, and that is the main purpose of this new iOS and Android App.

The game and the story are wonderful. But the music is out of place with the whole theme and seems like it was made for some other title. I finished it on Wii U with the music off. It was a horrible theme for this specific title.

@johnvboy totally agree with you. I am feeling sad about the metroid franchise that we waited so many years to see 10year aged graphics....

A new 3D Donkey kong Country

My experience playing OKAMI on Wii when it first came out was great.
Wii Motion controls gave the game what it needed and the whole experience was fantastic.

I played it at its time. Wont rebuy it, but if anyone havent played it, its a good catch. Really fun game, though I would prefer other artistic design, look-n-feel.

We/They are waiting for the blow of Switch 2.
All Nintendo developer teams stopped making Switch games years back. All the games that are published over the last 15-24 months are games that they were already made and waited the right time to have a nice flow in the schedule.

I am 120% that we will see a New Switch in a January Direct with a publish date of March 25. Also I am 200% sure that we will witness a new badass 3D Donkey Kong Country.

make the interface and her 1st party games available in more languages. One of the reasons that Sony has the most sales in my country is because her games offered in my native language

TBH the only thing that we care about is to have a console that strong enough to play the latest multiplatform games. If the new Switch 2 is not on par with Series S at least then... I'm not in for it.

Nevertheless that we are talking about a game that I am sure its worth the money, I can say that I feel bittersweet about it.

My issue is that such a major cult franchise should be given a budget that subpasses Legend of Zelda Series by far.

I know that Metroid Prime 4 would be this case but i feel that in 2021 a 2D Metroid cant touch me / scare me / make feel that I am playing a hostile environment. At 90's, yes a 2D perspective was all that we had and it was doing its job fine. But now... meh. It would be a fine game to play but IT WILL NOT FEEL like a Metroid. The game that makes you feel scared what the next door will show, it will miss the atmosphere that a 3D environment can offer.

Its not the gimmick problems only. Its the overall graphics.

Despite the gameplay factor. We had nintendo making a full effort to develop starfox zero with years of development. And ubisoft with just a few months , designed a better arwing!

I think nintendo should try more seriously...

Whatever you write or say, the images speak for themselves. And If you're in a position to write an article to convince us, then that shows there's a problem after all. Metroid franchise is a dark Scify solitude game that needs to transfer you the feeling that you are alone in a hostal place. THAT was the atmosphere of Metroid, Super metroid, Prime. On 2021 that is not a feeling i get from Metroid Dread. Maybe its the trailer i dont know. But its not my problem if they didnt communicate this to the public correctly.

Now that is what i call slow develompent. either there are problems or they need to find a way for their own to s7peed up the develompent proccess. Its been 4 years for a game like bayonetta... Come on! other studios could do WONDERDS in that time.

Not bad but ivwant something fresh something new. Metroid was good becase we havend seen for years but all the others except zelda... Meh for my taste.

It was OLD already when it came out back day.

It had some mechanisms that were leftovers of a past era of games.
Even though it is a REALLY good game... Not giving it a second playthrough. I 'll pass. But if someone hadn't played it on its time. ITS TIME. <3

But....thats what Nintendo does all this time. It treats its device as a handheld.
Except bethesda and a game from Square( Dragon Quest) and a few games here and there from others, the arent any major releases from 3rd party devs. All we play is indie games, old releases and we wait for Zelda 2, Metroid and Bayoneta.

What are your thoughts? Are we going to see a handheld again or a home console with better power?

@Moistnado Nintendo could use this for a better quality result.
Lets think a scenario where the game plays as it plays, but connecting it to the cloud service, the game plays on Nintendo Cloud Machines with better graphics resolution and overall quality because it just can.

Also we could see a lot of AAA games that Switch could not handle.
