Lets hope first for a game machine graphically worthy of the Nintendo Switch hardware. Because all we have seen from Gamefreak is well polished 3DS games with the hardware of a switch. (better lightings, better textures etc).

I expect a Pokemon game worthy of its name. A name which is only compared with zelda, and mario sales (or even more).

Its too early, to realize what will become to Nintendo Switch. Next Christmas will be a landmark

I think that Nintendo should invest in this. They should have their own cloud service game list with a monthly fee.

Even though i am very eager to play it. I might wait to play it on Xbox Series X.

I 'm starting to get tired from all these bad ports.
I was really thinking that with all the good sales of Switch, 3rd party developers could give a try and deliver some good quality software...
But i was once again wrong. If even Switch could'n motivate them then, i think its a lost cause.

Hey Developers of this Transformer game? Get out of the office and check the newspapers! We are in 2020. Competing PS2 games is NOT AN OPTION.

@westman98 I dont think about making a console to play NEW games that older Switch models would not. I think about a desktop console which will have the power giving 4k gaming of the already switch game library. Removing the mobility factor (aka screen) could have a price factor that is near the same price the normal switch costs right now.
but anyway... thats my thoughts...

@westman98 except if it is not a handheld. We have a Switch, we have a portable only Switch, why not making a NOT portable Switch and join the family? (Food for thought).

If its on par with ps5 xbox series x. People will welcome it. If not, please Nintendo.. Just don't bother. There is no "real" market for that

It is an achievement to present a 2D game in 2020 in that state of buggines...

For me, until i see Metroid Prime 4, Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, or some new IP. In the shelve...

I have 2 of those only. Oddysey and Zelda. I find all the other stuff on the list irrelevant of my taste. Hope to see some new games from Nintendo soon.

One of the Biggest IP of the 90s was handled as a small game remake.

@diwdiws Sega, as with Nintendo have just publishing rights for the game they published. aka Sega = Bayonetta 1, Nintendo= Bayonetta 2 and 3.

Platinum decides if she wants to make a Bayonetta 4, to whom it may end up. Just that.

@AymanDev true. It has a lot of performance issues. It needs a patch.

Its a really funny deal. The game is very easy going and if you can play it with friends is a must have. Although it needs a patch for serious framerate problems.

I bought it because my son was in love with it. We play together and it is really a nice game. BUT it needs desperately a patch to fix some horrible frame drops in some instances. There are places that there is a frame drop at less than 10 fps

When i say AAA i mean in budget terms, not in fun terms.THAT IS THE TERM OF AN AAA game. Of course I have played games with 0.99 that had more fun than games of 20-25 euros and I accept and respect that. What I am saying is just that i would want more BIG BUDGET games. With all due respect. When a game is made with lets say Unreal Engine, has a group of professional Musicians orchestra, has a lot of graphic designers,3d animators, motion recording etc etc. IT is an AAA game. I have fun even with my Wii or Wii U. I bought a Switch for playing games that have a graphic Quality that is better than those.

@sanderev Exactly my thoughts. Nintendo could and should remain on handheld gaming but also making a step on a real powerhouse hardware (XBOX Series X) so we can have a taste of a state of the art Zelda, Metroid, Mario etc.

Before the Wii era, Nintendo was a pioneer in graphics design and quality. Every game on every console generation was a masterpiece and a standing point for everyone. Now ofcourse the games are equally good in gameplay mechanisms but lack the graphic spark that they had. Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64 where all games 2 steps forward versus their opponents.

Looks nice but I think we are full of indie games. Noone except Nintendo gives AAA titles anymore for the console. Except some multiplatform cutted versions and remakes.

@the_beaver if Microsoft , a company that had no experience about video games could manage it with Forza then believe me Nintendo can do better if she wants. The question really is “why she don't try?”

We have over 5 futuristic racing games in Switch Library, some of them TOP QUALITY.

Nintendo Library misses a good Racing Sim. V Rally, WRC etc are just games downgraded to Switch. I just started Gran Turismo 5 in my dusty PS3 and it was waaaaaay better in graphics. This is sad. Nintendo SHOULD invest to a First Party Racing Sim.

So... this is just a rerelease of the original or will it be a remake?

Except Zelda we havend had a BIG AAA Mature title on Switch from Nintendo.
At least not one that we havent seen on older systems...
Its kind of sad if you think about the success of the console...

well Nintendo need to try harder. a metroid for example with a more dark environment than the likes of prime trilogy would suit the game better.
because thats what metroid was from the beginning! Super metroid and the original metroid were games that brought a space fear and solitude in the player. IMHO Dead Space 1 and 2 where more close to the original metroid feeling than any metroid prime. even though primes where awesome.

Looks very Gimmick but if you can attach a mouse as well... games like Doom etc will never be the same <3

PS4 sales prove you wrong. majority of players love graphics. Nintendo should ilfitrate That market too. alongside with a switch lote type gaming console for the mobile gamers

@electrolite77 At MY Login Nintendo would have made a Zelda way better even from Breath of the Wild Just because a stronger graphic card a proccessor would do by itsself and we would have witness a game that even in 20 years would be still on top.

At MY logic Nintendo would have made EVEN MORE millions because having all the nintendo library PLUS all the 3rd party support would give NO reason for Microsoft or even Sony at some point to make sales.

Its like someone feels blessed because he just have a job and he can pay his rent, but with his power he could have his own company.

What i believe is that Nintendo should make hardware on par with its rivals or stop doing so.

@BlueOcean Its not only the raw power, its that it would have the assets to make it 10 steps better in all sections (graphics, quality, cinematics, size etc).

Nintendo needs to seriously see that power is an important part in a game. Not the only important thing but a much appreciated section.

I would Kill to have an XBOX like console with Nintendo games in it. The could both have mass profit and fame. And it would be a noticable rival in the upcoming video game generation where Google and Sony will give their best. My opinion.

what i would like to see is a future join partnership of Microsoft and Nintendo where Nintendo is free to decide the games she wants to make with infinite resources from Microsoft.
And Microsoft to make the hardware.

Nintendo 64 Analog stick had issues greater than any console to date but there was no internet to cry.

Wii had issues with the disc drive and Switch drift analog stick is a huge issue also because it starts to happen very early. If i haven'd bough a Pro Controller and i had only using the Joy Cons i would have experienced the issue in the first year which is unacceptable. Sadly because of my heavy use of pro controller the Joycons lasted more... and now is beyond warranty and i must pay to fix a hardware which is not my fault...

..Not only it fell behind...
It fell in the dark bottom of the infinite VOID.

I am 120% sure that even on the next nintendo console there will not be an experience as Oculus Rift or PS4 VR Headset.

If Nintendo dont play along on the same par of its rivals we want see anything good.

totally agree. I can't see how Nintendo could lure a Sony gamer to buy a switch for a main console.
