I need to pick this game back up. I started playing the Rayman DLC and then just fell off for some reason. The base game was great, although I think I still prefer the first game.

@ZebZed Waluigi Pinball is absolutely coming. Because all of the MK Tour tracks are coming. That's all this DLC is.

Well that’s probably because you can actually find Switches. I would love to buy a PS5, but it’s impossible to get right now unless you want to pay a scalper $1000 or more.

I just don't understand why they didn't call this Final Fantasy Tactics: (something)....It's literally just like those games, which come from the same studio. I don't get it.

I’m really surprised the show lasted as long as it did. The 2 hosts never really seemed to have great chemistry and they kind of seemed annoyed with each other a lot 🤷‍♂️ Still sad to see something that kind of gave us a glimpse behind the curtain come to an end. Hopefully Nintendo will find a better way to show some slight transparency.

I don’t mind it going free to play. I do mind that they took away split screen multiplayer on the Switch. That really sucks.... I originally bought it because I could play split screen with my kids. And now I cant

2016 was so bad that it made me buy a PS4. That was the Star Fox Zero year. Truly, truly awful.

Animal Crossing, Super Mario Maker 2, and trying to finish up Jedi Fallen Order.

@Woomy_NNYes It's also not a great port. I was going to pick it up, but I looked at some videos online and it just looks and runs very poorly. Especially when compared to Super Lucky's Tale.

@Kalmaro I was on the fence about it anyway, and there’s so many other great games right now. I just wanted to play other stuff more, and I figured if I traded it now I would get more for it. The connection issues were just the nail in the coffin.

I bought the game at launch and was never able to connect, I had constant server issues. I played a little of the story mode but ended up trading it in because of it. They need to fix the Switch version. Especially because it seems to be selling well.

Sorry no Hawlucha, then no ticket buy from me...

Here's 2 that make total sense that are not on this list. Ni No Kuni 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Ni No Kuni 2 didn't sell nearly what it deserved on PlayStation, and could use the switch bump in sales, and PvZ: GW2 is a totally fun and colorful hero shooter with great slipscreen and online co-op and pvp. These are no-brainers.

Even though Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is definitely my Switch game of the year, Hollow Knight and Celeste were so close behind that. Amazing year for indies. Not so much for 1st party stuff. Hopefully there's more quality 1st party stuff from Nintendo next year.

Are we seriously not past this Switch stretch goal phase? Time and time again indie studios say that Switch versions outsell about every other platform. Switch should be right up there with Steam on the priority list. If you're an indie and your not putting your game on the Switch, you're missing out. Period.

I don't want the slow trickle of games anymore. They should all be available right from the beginning.

Well, you gotta spend money to make money. The fact of the matter is, this game will sell better on Switch. Period. Especially with it being a side scrolling, colorful game, it just screams Nintendo. There have been countless reports from indie devs saying that the vast amount of their sales are on Switch. It just seems financially foolish on their part if they don't.

So I was lucky enough to get a Shellder with withdraw and iron defense, and 4 sturdy stone slots. Then I got a sharing stone so that the defense buff from withdraw works for your whole team. And I think I broke the game. Shellder literally can't die, and he just keeps taking hits until the other 2 members of the team come back and I've already beaten several way high level quests with a pretty low level team.

This is really cool, and I'm probably going to pick it up, but man it's going to be hard going back to old systems after playing MHW so much. There is so much they changed for the better.

I'm still not convinced that Retro is working on a game at all. I think all they do is just eat barbecue and smoke cigars. There's no way a major studio can stay this silent on what they've been working on for SO LONG. It's been 4 years since Tropical Freeze came out.

The BAFTA game awards are the biggest joke.

I felt like the direct was unnecessary. They could've managed people's hype by just shadow dropping trailers and tweeting about it. And then they announced the games that should've been in the direct (Hyper Light Drifter, Nidhogg 2) after the direct via Twitter anyway. Very weird decisions all around....

I'm glad they are just now deciding to focus on development. You would think that would be 1st priority all the time....

I bought this on PS4, but couldn't finish it. It's painfully obtuse. If that's your thing that's cool. But the game tells you literally nothing. I don't see how it's possible to finish unless you do it all in one sitting.

So happy to hear about Mario+Rabbids. Probably my 2nd favorite Switch game. SO GOOD.

Can we stop referencing this man? His statement about Iwata after his passing is unforgivable and just vile. There's no reason why he should ever be brought up again. I don't care how good or not good of an analyst he is.

This game is the reason I bought a PS4 and I'm very happy the decision. I've been playing the beta and it's everything I've ever wanted a home console Monster Hunter to be.

I really wish EA would put Garden Warfare 2 on there. I think that game would be perfect for the Switch and it's audience.

He is probably referring to Fe, the game made by Zoink and published by EA. And there's probably a new Skylanders game coming from Activision. Do not trust to hope. It has forsaken these lands.

I play split-screen with my kids all the time. Such a great game. I have it on PS4 and Switch.

@Zach777 I'm in the same boat. As fun as these games look, they can't be as fun as shooting fire at dragons and shouting goats off of cliffs...

I remember playing the demo on Wii U with the Nindies @home thing, and I loved it. I will definitely be picking this one up.

I think they just aren't that great at optimization. I played the PS4 version and there was still slowdown in areas. And this isn't that graphical impressive. I'm sorry, but if you can load the entirety of the map in Breath of the Wild, then there's no reason for SUCH poor performance here.

This is really sad. I played this earlier this year on PS4, it really is a special game. Too bad they couldn't get it running well.

Um of course it is, the Switch is smaller than an iPad and is a portable console. Why does this even need to be said?

Capcom is really betting on the 15 Xbox One owners in Japan to buy more copies than they would sell on the Switch.

What about a Donkey Kong Country collection for the Switch? I would love to play returns and tropical freeze in HD on the go. PLEASE REGGIE!

Awesome. Definitely will be picking this up. I was so close to buying on PS4, but I just knew it was coming to Switch, and frankly, I want to play everything on Switch now.

I love this game, but it's so unlike anything else out there that I think it definitely needs a demo. You have to be willing to put time in to master the controls, but once you do, it's a very satisfying game.

Hopefully this means shorter load times. The load times on the PS4 version were LONG.

I'm sure this game is going to be really good, but from every screenshot I've seen it just looks like it needs more time in the oven. Some of the texture work just looks really bland. I have a feeling they were in a hurry to rush this out in the first year, and I think we have enough this holiday to justify them pushing this back to make it look a little better.
