Re: Video: MercurySteam, Metroid: Samus Returns and the Prototypes That Were Rejected

@iammikegaines
I love the pixel art style(from fusion, zero mission and am2r). And I have played the 2D Castlevania game (mirror of fate), nay, completed it.
It is a fun game but not a good one.
That shows me that MercurySteam wasn't up to snuff.
I hope Nintendo knows this and is wary in development.

When a franchise has been dormant for so long they should aim to revitalize the games by making most aspects better.

When games like Axiom verge and Am2r exist, can they really ask 30-45 bucks for, what is looking to be, a lesser game?

I've played every game in the metroid franchise.
For me this is looking to be worse than federation force.
But that's comparing apples and oranges.

I'm more excited for metroid prime 4.
The only reason, is that I have hope prime4's gameplay is better than 2 and 3.The original was awesome. 2 and 3 felt like megaman x 2 and 3. They're "better" but for some reason worse.

Re: Talking Point: How ARMS Can Punch Its Way Into Competitive Gaming

I find this article to be rather subjective, as the writer sounds like a "melee fanboy"

Though a lot of good comparisons were made, doesn't it all come down to the community? or can any game become competitive because the developer is supporting and marketing it as a competitive game?

The Arms E3 exhibition grand finals was amazing.
Yabuki's Twintelle is hype! (and something else 2 )

I don't think Nintendo doesn't want to support smash, I just think they readjusted their marketing as they switch should be a console for 20 to 40 year old people.(nintendoVS twitter) Why wouldn't they market the game's competitive side?!

Biggest question right now; would tournaments allow motion controls?
(I think mario kart has motion controls enabled for tourneys, right?)

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo at E3 2017?

Eddyson

yeah 2 metroids!!
But I'm still severely disappointed.

xbox had amazing, beautiful gameplay of dragonball fighterZ and Sony had a spiderman game I have been dreaming about for years now.

Nintendo should have made all their tree house announcements part of their E3 spotlight to give it much more "oomph"!!

@HSuzumiyaVI I'm just a bit cautious as the only crowdfunded game who delivers on their promises so far is yacht Club/Shovel knight.

Others have too, but pale (in my mind) in comparison.
The game play demo at conventions last year was a bit of a let down as the concept art looked great but the game didn't. Just like a certain mighty number.
