I’m glad this is performing well on Switch 2. Maybe I’ll pick it up eventually.

@TerribleTerabytes it’s easier to get into than Dark Souls or the other FS games. It’s still a little obtuse with how things work but it’s the best entry point if you’re in this style of games.

I’ve already picked up a Switch 2 at launch but I might get the Pro controller, it’s tempting!

I’m happy these games are finally getting their Switch 2 versions. I remember playing this on the OG Switch and the resolution really dropped substantially in certain areas. Sounds like S2 will be the definitive way to play this trilogy now.

Very happy this one got a good port. It’s really an excellent souls game, on par with FromSoft imo. I’ll hold out for the physical later in the year.

I picked up my copy but haven’t played it yet. It looks like a good game though so I’m happy about that!

I’ve been rotating between the latest Lego Batman and Battlefield 6. About halfway through Lego, it’s been okay so day!

This is such a great game. I think I did at least four NG cycles when I played it a year or so ago. I’ve never picked up the DLC though, so maybe I’ll pick this up eventually!

I still shop at GameStop, mainly when I get good deals on trades that I can convert into the games I actually want. I’m sure the company inevitably will pivot away from games, which will be a bummer. Whenever I go in, I’m usually the only one even looking at games, it’s nearly all people buying TCG or plush.

I’m near the end of my first playthrough of Star Fox! It’s a great looking remake, I’m liking it more than I expected. I’ve also gotten the itch to play a little Elden Ring, so I’m making a little progress on an old save of mine, hopefully one day getting leveled enough for the DLC. Cheers all!

I’ve been gaming a lot this weekend! Dropping a degenerate amount of time into a wipe on Rust. Also started Adventures of Elliott which is cool so far. Lastly, I’m also playing through Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight. Basically just drowning in games right now, but can’t complain! Happy. Gaming all.

I wish we would get some DLC for this game! I held off selling my copy because I thought maybe they would release some more content.

I’ll be picking up my pre order today! It looks like my type of game, especially since I’ve always liked the hd-2d style.

I’m very excited for this one. It’s odd we haven’t seen more gameplay. But I still trust that FromSoft will cook, they’ve been working on this for quite awhile given their typical release cadence.

These joy cons look pretty good! I do wish they were a little more distinctive though. The accents don’t distinguish things too much compared to the launch controller colors.

This is one of the best souls games out there. If it runs well on Switch 2, I’ll be very tempted to double dip.

Mostly Pragmata for me! Snagged a pre owned copy in the B2G1 sale last week, liking it so far. Also doing the post game of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which is pretty lengthy surprisingly. Lastly I might dabble in Marathon a bit more while it’s still on the free trial. As always, too many games and not enough time lol happy gaming all!

I’m very happy with Switch 2 so far. It’s exactly what I wanted; higher frames and higher resolution on a bigger screen. Game wise, I think the quality has maybe been slightly lower, more mid-range games than true system sellers. Alas, I like the platform quite a lot, definitely a worthy upgrade.

My screen has more scratches than I expected. I should have put a screen protector on from day one. I finally did apply one that covered up most of the scratches from being visible but I should have just been careful when I first bought it. My joy cons also look a little grimy but I could probably clean them up.

Good to see this one finally coming out! Awesome it will include the full DLC too. $80 at launch is a bit steep since I’ve already double dipped on this game across PC and PS5, but once it hits a decent sale, I might be tempted to pick it up a third time.

30 hours is a pretty solid adventure! Hope this game turns out to be as great as it looks. I’m just about to get Octopath Traveler 0 in the mail this week, so this one will have to wait a bit, but I’m sure I’ll pick up a copy eventually.

It’s been a good week for gaming so far! I finally finished my playthrough of Ghost of Yotei after nearly three months. And I also rolled credits on Saros, which I’ve worked on all of May. Still might try for the secret ending before trading it in. Lastly, I have been dabbling slowly in Yoshi and still occasionally checking in on Tomodachi Life. Once I’m done for good with Saros, I will focus more on Yoshi since it’s a fairly short game. Happy gaming all!

Rebirth is an incredible game. Just finished my 100+ hour playthrough last December. Jealous of everyone getting their first experience with this one!

I picked up Yoshi this week, so I’ve been dabbling in that, cleared the first world! It’s very charming and relaxed. Seems like probably a short game but that’s cool with me. I also bought Hitman World of Assassination because it was on a good sale at GS, and it’s been a surprisingly fun game, never played this franchise before so it’s been fun trying something new. Lastly, I am still trying to finish Ghost of Yotei. It’s taken me nearly three months, which is way longer than usual for me. I’m looking forward to finishing it soon.

Seems pretty fun! I loved the Dark Knight trilogy years ago so I’m sure I’d enjoy this too. It’s a Lego game so you know this will be $20 or so if you’re patient enough. I’ve got an endless backlog so I’ll do just that, I’m glad this is good though!

Yea I’m getting it on launch day this week. Have some trade credit to burn so I figured why not, it looks like a short but fun game. I will probably binge through it in as a nice break from some of the long open world games I’ve been playing.

There’s something that looks very off about the new designs. Almost a little uncanny. Peppy looks very shiny and smooth. Fox has a strangely shaped head. It’s just not landing well with me. I think they should have gone for a more stylized look rather than realism.

I definitely prefer the directs. The single announcements feel anticlimactic.

It’s a busy weekend for me, but I’m hoping to play a few games. My current main focus is Saros, which I’ve only played for a few hours but it’s been pretty fun so far. I’ve fallen off a bit on Tomodachi Life, but I’d like to at least check in for a few minutes at some point. And lastly I’d like to play at least an hour or so of Ghost of Yotei so I don’t totally lose where I’m at. Happy gaming all!

I’m still hoping they’ll do another release of Sunshine, ideally not just a ROM on the online service but something I can actually buy. I sold my copy of 3D All Stars but it’s be great to have a new way to get access. I’m sure they’ll do another compilation one day.

Tomodachi Life has surprisingly been keeping my attention a lot, so I will continue with a little daily dabbling in that, maybe make a few more Miis and keep everyone happy. I’ll probably also do the daily run in Slay the Spire 3, although after 50 hours it might be time for a break soon. Lastly I haven’t touched Ghost of Yotei in about a week. So, hopefully I can get back to that this weekend. If I don’t feel a greater urge to play it soon I will probably trade it when Saros comes out. Happy gaming!

I think it’s a very solid 8 for me so far. I’ve had a ton of fun with it. It’s a blast.

That’s sad for the studios and everyone who worked there. Very tough business, even for successful studios with a good resume like this one. I’m guessing Brawlhalla really hurt them. Hope everyone finds their next job quickly.

I had a very busy Saturday. There was a massive community sale near my house where I shopped for about three hours straight. Ended up scoring big on a huge lot of PS3 games and spare controllers. Very exciting, but spent most of my afternoon cleaning and cataloging everything so ironically I only gamed for about an hour on Saturday.

Friday and today however will be all about Tomodachi Life, which is surprisingly just pure fun and goofiness so far. Not much makes me laugh or smile as a jaded gamer these days but I had a blast with what I’ve played so far. I might also get back to Ghost of Yotei as well if time allows. And most likely the daily run of Slay the Spire 2, which I’m nearly at 50 hours played since launch. Happy gaming!

I did not like the first game very much. I’m surprised they are making a sequel. Hopefully they learned a lot from the first game and can really build a better sequel this time around. The art is charming!

Wow those Xbox sales are even worse! I knew it wasn’t popular outside the US but that’s still shocking to see.

I have this pre ordered for a physical copy. I’ve never played the 3DS game but it seems to have a big cult following. The only thing holding me back is I wish the ability to import user created Miis was a thing. I’m not the most creative person, so having to make everything myself may not match my usual play style. I’ll still probably pick it up since I’m done with Pokopia, but at least it will be physical in case it’s not my type of game after all

It looks really good! I think people will really enjoy it. I’m intrigued but I’ll be busy with Tomodachi Life this week along with my other in progress games. Maybe I’ll pick it up in the future though, seems like a good game for a B2G1 sale.

It was an unusually busy weekend for me, so I didn’t get much gaming in. I played a tiny bit of Pokopia, a couple runs of slay the spire 2, and one or two side missions in Ghost of Yotei. I did find three PS4s at the yard sales on Saturday morning though, so that was exciting! Cheers all, happy gaming.

That’s a hefty price tag. Even more than Cyberpunk, which also came with DLC bundled. I already own this on two platforms, so I’ll skip at this price and maybe reconsider at a deep sale

(1) My main single player game continues to be Ghost of Yotei. It has taken awhile to grow on me, but I’m finally getting into the game more after ten hours or so. Hoping to beat this by the end of the month.

(2) I’ll also probably play the daily run for Slay the Spire 2. Played about 40 hours since release last month, been really enjoying this sequel to one of my all time favorites.

(3) Lastly, I’ll likely continue the post game of Pokopia, such as finding more Pokemon, building new habitats, finding artifacts, and working towards environment level 10. I’ve also got lots to do in Pallete town still. A surprisingly deep post game! Glad I didn’t skip it once the credits rolled.

I’ve used this one time early on when I first got my Switch 2. Then all my friends just went right back to using Discord. I’m probably not the target demographic for this but it also feels like Nintendo was a little late to the party with this feature.

Impressive! I wasn’t sure this would do big sales since it was already a popular Switch 1 game but happy to see it!
