Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th March)

I’ll try to spend some time in my three main games right now. I’m near the end of Legends ZA, and I’m also playing Pokopia too, currently in the second area of the game. Lastly, I’ve beat a run with all five characters in Slay the Spire 2, but still more cards and artifacts to unlock, even after 25 hours in just one week. Happy gaming!

It’s a big gaming weekend for me! I ended up caving and buying Pokopia. It has been very charming so far. I also bought Slay the Spire 2, which is an absolute blast and such a great follow up to the original. Lastly, I ended up playing some Arc Raiders, which I haven’t played in a few months but is as fun as ever. I also still have my Legends ZA playthrough to continue, so I will try to get back to that at least a little for the sake of keeping up momentum. Happy gaming all!

I’ll be very curious how they are going to make the PC experience user friendly for a mass audience. The FSE on handheld has been a good step forward but it’s still very clunky compared to a proper OS or even Steam BPM. I don’t wish bad toward Xbox but I can’t see them making a successful recovery on the hardware front.

Another weekend, another visit to Lumoise City! Still working through the main story, probably about halfway through while doing lots of side quests and wild zones along the way. That will probably be my main focus, but if I need some variety, I might do some of the skill challenges in Mario Tennis Fever. Lastly, getting excited for Slay the Spire 2 coming out next week! Hope everyone has a happy gaming weekend, especially everyone playing the new RE!

This is a pretty fun game! I’m absolutely terrible at the ranked solo play but it’s still an enjoyable way to mix things up. I don’t have friends to play this with but if you did there would be a ton of options for local multiplayer. Wish it had even more single player content but it’s still a good time!

It will be a mix of adventure mode in Mario Tennis Fever and the early game of Pokemon Legends ZA for me. Also have a new pro controller coming in the mail today so I’m excited to finally try out and compare it to my OG pro controller. Lastly, will probably play some Little Nightmares 3 in co op (mainly so we can hurry through to play Reanimal, which looks better, lol). Happy gaming!

I downloaded Mario Fever this morning! Bought a digital copy since it’s the type of multiplayer game I think I’d like to come back to off and on rather than finish and trade. Just played five matches or so, but I’m liking it! I tried a demo at my local Target that convinced me to pick it up

Another weekend of Age of Imprisonment for me! Just hit the start of Chapter 5, about 20 hours of playtime so far doing all the side missions as I go. It’s definitely my favorite of the series, the performance is excellent. Also doing my daily ACNH sessions too as I build up my new island after starting over with the last update. If AoI gets repetitive, I might play some Arc Raiders, which I haven’t touched for a few weeks while focusing on Metroid 4 and then AoI. Happy gaming all!

I played MHS2 late last year, so I was curious how 3 would look by comparison. I thought the gameplay from the trailer looked much better, but I’m also quite curious if they’ve evolved the world design at all too. The last game had very flat textures (even on PC) and the dungeons were all procedurally generated hallways for the most part. It was still an okay game but I’m excited that 3 is maybe a progression of the series just like 2 improved over the OG.

Re: Talking Point: Where's Your Nintendo Labo Now?

One of the few Nintendo products I haven’t bought over the years. I remember feeling very tempted on release day but it just didn’t seem for me. Only ever seen one out in the wild once since then, and it was mostly just the sheets where cardboard had already been popped out.
