My family and I were staying at a Hilton hotel for almost five months due to our home having an unfortunate infestation of black mold, a few years back. Our insurance company had to tear down some of our walls and floors to combat the menacing spores. While that was happening we stayed at the local Hilton and they treated us with incredible kindness patience and humor; I loved and adored the staff very much as they went above and beyond to assist us every day. I’d share more about the stay but I’m at work, might take a bit to write it all. 😜 Watch this space!
Looks lovely and all but I would rather have a bigger screen and larger control/button interface. (I have rather large hands; they often eclipsed my GBA micro and SP considerably even at a young age)
This tiny thing would just give me eye strain and a headache.
2020 definitely seems a bit dull but there have been several great games and promises for the near future.
There have been hiccups and speed bumps here and there but to call 2020 Nintendo’s worst? Nah.
Every year when I’ve been invested in a Nintendo title or console/handheld, it had kept me busy and happy with a title or two, I then completed them and moved onto the next title on my queue/backlog/shelf. Not much has really changed save for the latest system or controller provided to play said games I had purchased.
I can’t really think of a time when I was completely disappointed with what I had played or what was offered by the company. (Well- maybe Virtual Boy but I was a bit too young to purchase one and the retrospective reviews had me avoiding it completely...)
2020 was an unpleasant year for everyone I think but not in terms of gaming preferences or announcements but Covid-19 and social/economical and government instability...
I haven’t played the latest Paper Mario or any other title other than 1000 year door and a couple of the earlier titles, sadly.
This new one, while looking shiny and new didn’t look that impressive on its latest gameplay mechanics in the trailers provided and I miss the clever writing and innovations of old.
I’m curious to play Ghost as it seems like an open sandbox done properly and the references, art direction and executions (double puns, yay) look amazing and I’m eager to give them a go.
I’ll surely explore Origami King in the future but it seems the latter game mentioned seems a lot more fun and polished.
@AxeltheBuizel not worth it on any platform, knowing how Blizzard seeks profits over the lives of innocent human beings subjected to totalitarian regimes....
I wonder if they’ll ever add the Professor Layton, Killer 7 or Viewtiful Joe games to Switch... those are some games I would love to visit again in HD.
@Tempestryke It’s from a Tales From The Darkside episode- “Inside The Closet”.
Highly recommend you watch it; it may be a trifle cheesy nowadays but it’s still fun to watch.
I’ve got several shelves as well as several terabytes full of creepy films, soundtracks, gifs, stills and television shows from that incredible decade. 💀

Re: Three More Games Join Nintendo's 'Double Gold Points' Promotion (Europe)
These so called discounts are laughable at best.
Re: Review: Crysis Remastered - A Technical Miracle And One Of The Best Shooters On Switch
I’ll wait for a sale on this one, current price is too much for this 13 year old game.
Re: Talking Point: Have You Missed E3 This Year?
I haven’t been excited for E3 since I was twelve years old; twenty years onward and I still couldn’t give a damn about it in the slightest.
2020 has been a rubbish year anyway and the current state of things as of late hasn’t been helping either.
Re: The FunKey S Is A Handheld Console That Fits On Your Keyring
@JayJ when I was in high school; a classmate had a tiny flip phone that was slightly smaller than a box of Tic-Tacs.
It was bizarre as it was amusing.
Still don’t understand how or why they would justify purchasing such a device at such a high price, though.
People are an odd lot, I tell you h’what.

This is fascinating stuff! Really gets your imagination going thinking what might have been...
Re: Mega Man's Live-Action Movie Still Happening, Expect Big News Soon
Who has two thumbs and still doesn’t give a toss about this dreck? This guy. This movie project reeks of desperation.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Latest Update Has Given Visitors A New Way To Ruin Your Island
@mesome713 good to see you were finally banned from the site.

Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@Alpha-2002 again, you have been forgiven. May the Dark Side embrace you, may it strengthen you and empower you, may it enlighten and be part of you.
Re: Spike Chunsoft's Summer Sale Offers Up To 80% Off Selected Switch Titles
Out of all the games, which are the best?
Never heard of these games...

“lEt’S-a gO!”
Mario’s been juicing’ too many mushrooms...
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@NintendoPete oh god no, just no. 😂
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@Alpha-2002 no harm, no foul my brother. All is forgiven. Now apologize to Admiral Thrawn, the Sith Lord Revan and Darth Nihilus right now.
Re: Fight Crab Scuttles To Switch This September
CRAB BATTLE!
CRAB BATTLE!
CRAB BATTLE!
LEOIOIOIOIOOOO!
"Crab people, Crab people. Taste like crab, talk like people."
Two obscure references for you lot to ponder and giggle at.
You’re welcome.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Crysis Remastered On Switch
@WhiteTrashGuy turn off aim assist and it’ll flow better.
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@NintendoPete Jim Carrey was the only saving grace of the first flick. The rest was rubbish.
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@Alpha-2002 erm- Samurai and Nazis, not cowboys. Maybe pirates as well? Cowboys seem a stretch.
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
This movie and its sequels never needed to exist.
Covid-19, Trump as a president, looming world socio/economical collapse, anti vaxxers, police brutality, fascism on the rise and now this!
We really are living in the worst timeline.
Re: Nintendo Provides Another Update About Its Development Schedule
“I’m shocked, absolutely shocked! Well- not that shocked...”
Re: New Story DLC For The Outer Worlds Is Coming To Nintendo Switch In The Future
Could they fix the visuals, lag and other basic functions of the core game first? The Switch port as it stands now is an embarrassment.

Re: Review: Dex - A Compelling Cyberpunk Mash-Up
Well- this is a no brainer, definitely grabbing this one.
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Team Opens 'Current Status' Page To Address Top Priority Issues
Spectacular game... when played on the PS4.
If they ever finish polishing and fixing the myriad of bugs and issues on the Switch version, I’ll happily purchase it...

I’m calling it now- this game is just vaporware at this point.
Re: Talking Point: Are You Prepared To Spend $70 On The Latest Games?
@Randy_RedGuard not even $1
Re: Talking Point: Are You Prepared To Spend $70 On The Latest Games?
@Nico07 You? Me? Same.
Re: Capcom Discounts Resident Evil, Mega Man And More In Summer Switch Sale (North America)
I wonder if they’ll ever add the Professor Layton, Killer 7 or Viewtiful Joe games to Switch... those are some games I would love to visit again in HD.
Re: Talking Point: Are You Prepared To Spend $70 On The Latest Games?
No, absolutely not. I may sit out this next generation of gaming because of that. I never really buy games at full price anyway.
Re: Contra-Inspired RPG Shooter Bite The Bullet Fires Onto Switch Next Month
Bizarre concept but holy hell does this game look gorgeous! Vibrant color palette, old school pixel art designs and a rockin’ soundtrack.
I’ll be keeping my eyes on this one, looks and sounds a treat!
Re: Adult Swim Brings Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time To Switch Next Month
I’m not too certain of this one- the animation in the trailer looks stiff and robotic but the colors and designs look lovely.
I adore the animated series but this game looks a bit off to me.
I hope I’m wrong though.

Re: Crytek Reveals Docked And Handheld Resolutions For Crysis Remastered On Switch
@Tonyo Aye- I’m gravely disappointed with this, not gonna lie.
Re: Crytek Reveals Docked And Handheld Resolutions For Crysis Remastered On Switch
I’ll stick with the PS4 version; the Switch version seems underpowered and less than stellar visually. No thanks...
Re: Phil Spencer Shuts Down Idea Of Xbox Game Pass Coming To Other Platforms
@Razer Microsoft as a whole sucks and the Xbox alone is proof of that.
Keep your negativity to yourself.
Re: Team17 Announces Free DLC For Blasphemous - Adds New Game Plus, New Story Content And Much More
@DevlinMandrake fascinating stuff, innit?
Re: Team17 Announces Free DLC For Blasphemous - Adds New Game Plus, New Story Content And Much More
@Zuljaras Oh no doubt about that either; the sadomasochist themes are prevalent in both works methinks.
Re: Video: Every Switch Trailer From Japan's Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase
I was gravely disappointed with this Mini Direct and I still had zero expectations!
Re: Phil Spencer Shuts Down Idea Of Xbox Game Pass Coming To Other Platforms
Jog off, Spencer.
We don’t want an Xbox experience on our Nintendo platforms- we want a Rareware experience on our Nintendo platforms.
Eesh- the sheer arrogance that man exhibits is just disgusting.
Re: Team17 Announces Free DLC For Blasphemous - Adds New Game Plus, New Story Content And Much More
Such a lovely announcement for such a depressing game. (I love it to death, FYI) can’t wait to explore these new features.
Can’t help but feel this game was inspired in part by Clive Barker and his novella The Hellbound Heart (the basis for the Hellraiser films...)
Re: It Looks Like That F-Zero Twitter Account Is Fake
Of course it was fake and seeing sites like yours trying to hype it up as it were genuine is really bad form on your part.
Re: Horror Adventure Mundaun Announced For Switch, Here's A First-Look Trailer
Keeping my eyes on this one. Getting a bit of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of The Earth combined with Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem vibe.
Hope it’s a success; I’m deeply enamored with the horror genre and its limitless influences and applications.
Re: Watch: Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase July 2020
I had zero expectations and I was still disappointed.
Re: Mario Kart Tour Is Getting A Landscape Mode And A New Control Layout
@Grot I’ll stick with the DS/3DS sets, thanks.
Re: Mario Kart Tour Is Getting A Landscape Mode And A New Control Layout

Re: Nintendo Registers New 'Mario Sports' Trademark
I honestly detest sports based video games; I mean why make/play those when you can just play said sports in real life? (They’re more fun that way!)
I know, I know- I’m in the minority with this observation but I’m serious- just... why?
Re: Metacritic Implements 36-Hour Delay On User Reviews, To Ensure "Gamers Have Time To Play"
That’s a pretty neat idea; review bombing trolls are heckin’ worst. Hope this new idea sticks.
