Their worst Mario choices are interesting because those two games are practically polar opposites. Mario Sunshine is very weird and experimental and almost nothing like the rest of the series, whereas NSMB2 is very traditional and lacking in innovation. Personally I'd take the latter over Sunshine any day - I admire Sunshine's ambition and creativity but it hasn't aged well at all.
Twilight Princess is one of my favourite Zelda games but I haven't played Majora's Mask yet. I'm not sure what my least favourite Zelda would be, maybe one of the NES ones but that's a little unfair as I've never made much progress in either of them. Restricting it to games I've actually finished I'd probably have to say Spirit Tracks, but it's still a very good game.
@garfreek @Anti-Matter Funnily enough I'm playing Sushi Striker on 3DS at the moment too. It's a fun little game considering the bargain price I paid for it.
Nano Assault EX on 3DS was good, I'll make sure to buy its Wii U sequel in this sale. I'm interested in Fast Racing and Art of Balance too but they're on Switch so I'll get them on there another time.
Good to see Shin'en is doing this, I hope more publishers follow suit. They don't necessarily need to, as the impending shutdown means people are more likely to buy eShop games soon anyway (which I'm sure Nintendo is fully aware of and will keep all their games at full price, annoyingly) but it's a nice gesture and sales make it easier for people to afford everything they want.
Both my original Joy-Con have been for repair for drift or a button failing, but they're fine now and the console itself is still in great condition after nearly five years.
It makes sense for this game to be free as it already uses the f2p 'seasons' model. I played the free trial and it was fun so I'll probably download it again now.
@nukatha Ah ok, that makes sense (well, kind of - I don't know why it's not more consistent). As @1UP_MARIO pointed out, it's definitely possible that the updates will still be available on the eShop like with Skyward Sword on Wii, but we don't know that for sure.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo said software updates will still be available after the eShop shutdown. That may not be true forever though, and I don't know if it applies to patches that you have to download directly from the eShop, like the Pokemon X/Y one.
@Wexter It's annoying, I'd rather leave my consoles the way they are, but modding them might be necessary, even if only to make sure I don't lose access to my purchases if they ever disable the ability to redownload games.
They've confirmed that Pokemon Bank will become free to use, in case you missed that, so that's some good news at least.
Really disappointing news, I still use both consoles and there are a lot of games I've yet to buy on the eShop. So many games will be completely inaccessible after this shutdown, especially ones that make a lot of use of the Wii U and 3DS's unique features and control schemes, which will make them nearly impossible to port to Switch or anything else.
I don't like horror but I'd be tempted to get this just out of respect for the developers having the audacity to include a Wii Balance Board control scheme.
@Scapetti I could understand having that view about some articles but this is actual news about a big game that's coming to the Switch, of course it should be reported on.
I've never watched this show but I hope this release comes to the UK as we often miss out on DVD releases of US cartoons. I don't think season 2 is even out on DVD here at all.
I might give this a go actually. I do think cartoons that run for decades should allow the characters to age and then pass the lead role onto new generations of characters, but it's good to hear Pokemon is still staying relatively fresh despite that. I suppose the fact that Ash's companions (human and Pokemon) change every few years probably helps, it's only really Ash and Pikachu themselves that stay the same. Very sad to hear Snom isn't more prominent (Snominent?) though.
Since 1.18 came out I actually played this game for the first time in a while and found some diamonds, so looks like I picked the right time to play it
@Tisteg80 I think they're still allowed but don't count toward the eShop charts. So I'm not quite sure what this company has to gain from this, I suppose maybe the publicity will get them a few extra sales.
I don't have the DLC so I didn't know you could add custom effects to the polishing, at first I just thought all the effects in these screenshots were the defaults in the game. Needless to say I thought the developers had gone a bit mental making this expansion over lockdown.
The character looks kind of annoying and I have no interest in League of Legends... but I do love rhythm platformers, so I might give this a go anyway.
I'd like it to be essentially a more powerful Switch but with some additional gimmick that adds new ways to play games. So basically a Switch U. What could go wrong?
Nice that they're actually bothering to put it back once they've renewed the licence instead of just taking it down permanently like some publishers might do for 3DS games in 2021.
Agreed, it's one of my favourites and I didn't realise it wasn't universally beloved. But then I also don't understand why people hate the circus bit from the second game so I guess I'm just easily pleased.
@E_Gadds_Garage I'm hoping for that as well but it seems fairly unlikely because the original KOTOR is nearly 16GB on Switch, so they'd need to use a 32GB cartridge to get both games on, which almost never happens (The Witcher 3 is the only Switch game released on a 32GB cartridge outside of Japan that I know of).
Looks interesting. I'm fully in favour of all these experimental games Square Enix has announced recently, especially because they're more likely to come to Switch than the typical epic RPG fare.
This sounds good! I haven't bought The Lonely Assassins yet so it would be nice to have a physical release of both games together.
@nessisonett I wonder if she'll be back for the 60th. Although that will probably be literally the episode after she leaves so that would be a bit weird.
I don't remember even seeing a percentage on the map, but I'm only on about 80 out of 120 shrines so it wouldn't be very high anyway. I do intend to go back to it and finish all of those plus the side quests before the sequel comes out. Probably won't bother with the Korok seeds though, I'm not that crazy.
@Highlar It's a good game. The performance could have been better but it's perfectly playable, and in fact they released a patch just after I finished the game which might have improved it, I don't know how much though. But yeah I'd recommend it.
I've never heard of it so I'd be surprised if that number was accurate. I guess making up sales figures would get people talking about the game at least.
I think any song would drive me insane if I listened to it for more than half an hour, let alone ten. If I had to choose I'd say something from Xenoblade, maybe the title theme or Colony 9 theme.
I'm going with Rowlet, it's the only one of these I've never used before and he's lovely (no idea why I didn't pick him in either of the Alola games I played).
I haven't actually read the article because of the spoiler warning and I might play these games one day, but I'm just here to throw some positivity into the void 👩❤️💋👩
Very interested in this but it's currently 25% off on Switch and yet it's still more expensive than on Steam and mobile. Presumably it's a short game so I might wait for a deeper discount.
Nice, I haven't played this series but I wondered if this would ever happen. THQ Nordic continues to be one of the best third-party publishers on the Switch.
I'm not that big on Sims but this sounds way better than the main games. I want to start buying more GBA games at some point so I might have to get this one.

I played a bit of this as a kid on my brother's N64 so it will be great to have a chance to play it again. Switch would be better though!

Re: 'Capcom Fighting Collection' Brings An Arcade Exclusive Home After 26 Years
Oh thank God, I was worried there weren't enough ways to play Street Fighter II on the Switch.
Seriously though, I'm not a big fan of fighting games but it's great to see publishers putting so much effort into retro compilations like this.
