It’s simple, they want email addresses to send all their marketing crap to and with a login requirement they have the ability to also prevent access to the game in the future. The idea this was all a terrible mistake is complete rubbish and they should have been honest from the beginning. At least it’s rectified now.

Has a console ever supported so many great shmups before? I really think Switch will go down in history as a shmup powerhouse especially with its Tate mode.

please make it so, I absolutely loved this on N64, completely re-drawn sprites and fantastic lighting effects, it is lacking any music sadly but I thought it made it much scarier and tense 😬

How on Earth are performance issues like input lag and poor FPS not a priority? I get the feeling this project came extremely close to disaster and they released what they did because they were on their arse. Just one bad decision after another and it’s a miracle it actually “completed”

Do you remember when people used to test games before releasing them?
