@Dragonite89 PS5 version isn’t even remastered or even upscaled. It is literally the PS3 version. The switch version is not cloud so shouldn’t be bottlenecked and will have full HD so it is much better graphics wise and it includes the dlc which the Ps5 and Xbox versions do not.
Overall considering the price for the outdated one on PS and Xbox $50 is not a bad price for all the extras that will be there. It will also be mobile as well.
Me though, I will wait for a physical version of it and for it to go to $20 bucks or the digital when it hits maybe $15. It is not worth it to me for any of the versions to pay anymore. If I will get it it will be on the switch though, I already own the 360 version that is backwards compatible so I am good on waiting.

I’ll just play the game as intended. Glitches are just another way to cheat.

Diablo will have this week maybe next but it’ll drop off after that.

@Gamergirl94 @BabyYoda71 it is a universal film which is owned by NBC so it will release on Peacock first and then the other services maybe a month later if not longer. NBC will not at all release it anywhere else and will use it as a pull to get people make accounts on their service.

@RetroGames the movie is breaking records because of the name sake not because it is a fabulous movie. In the end most the spin offs will not do anywhere as good and like most movie themes the video game one will be over in a few years.
The movie itself is meh and isn’t even as good as the minions movie and I am an extremely huge Mario fan.
As for coming to streaming it is coming to streaming because almost every movie comes to streaming services 90 days after release at the theaters. Then the physical will be a month or a couple months after that.

@Not_Soos @Tober @BaldBelper78 FROM WHAT o got that is correct that the FTC is not a judge so Nintendo can ignore them. For them to send the information they did is good.
What I see though is the FTC is trying to stop this merger and just like congress is trying to get as much little bits of information they can to help them do so. Nintendo has a right to appeal and they did and any information they don’t want subpoenaed if it does go in front of a judge most likely won’t be subpoenaed because it is irrelevant to the case. All the FTC needs to see is that the contract is legit and binding so that Microsoft is forced to go through with it and yesI agree also that Nintendo should not have to release any information until all the other companies have to show their disclosures as well.
To me this looks like we have a bunch of Sony fan boys on the FTC board. Almost every other region is looking at approving this deal as it is now. the FTC is just being babies about it or are being paid off.

For anyone out there Azure Strikers Gunvolt is an excellent Megaman type of game series. All of them are excellent games to have.

@Cashews It looks like a very Tetris type of game persay. If you like shovel knight I’d recommend shovel knight dig over this one. This may be a good game but idk if I’d want to spend even 10 bucks on it.

@Pillowpants all three good titles. I actually just got around to finishing the Messenger ( make sure you get that free dlc they have also). Hollow Knight is definitely one worth playing through, challenging but an excellent game. Darkest Dungeon is a completely different type of game but that is what makes it an excellent choice as well and the art style of course.
If you like games like Hollow Knight I highly recommend The Mummy Demastered. It is an excellent game as well. Not extremely long maybe about 10hrs but well worth it. Ohh and cannot leave out both Axiom Verge games as well.

@HammerGalladeBro all three of those go on sale all the time now and I would recommend hollow knight to be the first on you buy. So I agree, definitely get that physical of Metroid Prime first, they did an excellent job with it. Also if you’re interested NYXI makes a GameCube controller, it’s 80 usd but it was well worth it I think. I have always loved the GameCubes button setup and with games like smash and primes remake it gives that complete nostalgia feeling too.

@msvt I actually use a site called Gameflip to buy my gift cards. Sometimes you can find eshop cards on sale there from 5%-22% off. I check it here and there because they go fast of course. This works for actual game codes as well as you cannot find console codes rarely on these kind of sites.

@Lylat it’s an ok game, it definitely isn’t something great but for those that like 2d games I’d recommend watching a little gameplay videos and seeing if it would be for them first.

This is all crap really. The movie has no real story and is literally all over the place like a freaking 2 hr long ad. The only reason it is selling so good is because of the names. I’ll guarantee a sequel will flop by expectation standards.

The Mario Movie is really lame. Only hardcore fans and kids that cannot out sentences together enjoyed it. It is nothing but a big ad for Nintendo with no substance at all and very poor casting.
The only thing that was even remotely good was the animation.
Sega at least listened to their fans about Sonic and it was a hit all around. Mario, it’ll end up with a 65 rating tops.

Yea, Nintendo games don’t get to cheap usually. Keep an eye out and you’ll find a couple sales or a good second hand one on eBay even or sites like it. They are both great games so definitely give them a try. Like I said though you can give them a try with the NSO online also. They have the first one on the nes and 2nd on gameboy there. They also have the ones for the Super Nintendo and the ones on N64 as well. So basically get most of the series right there, of course gotta realize they are older games but still fun to play.

@Anti-Matter first experience? You should play forgotten lands and try out the other Kirby’s even if it is just the expansion pass ones. They are all really good games

@Horace All characters have their own personalities. The storylines are always different of course just like anything ever made period. The fact that this movie takes those personalities and makes them something different than who these characters are is what will kill the movie, that and Chris Pratt’s god awful Mario.

The Movie alone has me cringing and will not even bother with it as it does not represent Mario or the characters at all let alone Pratt alone ruins the whole thing.

I’ll wait for a sale of 20 bucks. I get remaking older games or remastered ( my preference ) but stop charging full price for something that you know isn’t worth it.

@Selim Zelda is more popular than Mario now and has been for quite some time now. Even Odyssey has sold almost half as many copies as BotW. This has been the trend since Link to the Past actually.

@Serpenterror if anyone will stream it it will be NBC since illumination is owned by Universal which is owned by NBC. So if it is streamed the knowing the Peacock app and how NBC manages it it will cost 20 at least to stream it if it is available while out in theaters.

@RupeeClock they’re announcing it now because they know there is not much excitement for the movie. Casting Pratt has ruined most of that. I for one will miss the direct and it will be the first one I have never seen. I’m just not interested in watching them ruin Mario.

@SportyMarioSonicMix it’s on YouTube man, look it up. Last Nintendo direct on 9/13/2022 got 5.1 million views. That’s just the views on YouTube. I am sure Nintendo fixed their viewership numbers on YouTube.
Let me be clear. E3 is not a bad thing at all but the big 3 do not at all need e3 to reach people. E3 is more for start ups and pc in todays world.

@CircuitWrangler3 @CircuitWrangler3 @CircuitWrangler3 first of all the switch is way more gimmicky than the WiiU. The WiiU sold horribly because of marketing reasons not because of gimmicks or competition.
As for competition none of them need E3 to compete at all in todays age which is why they are leaving it. They are seeing the same and even bigger numbers by holding their own showcases and they are able to have more of them as well. Nintendos directs alone gets almost 2x’s more views than they have gotten at e3. Competition is good but e3 doesn’t bring competition and the competition it does bring is startup companies which Nintendo even welcomes themselves but that’s a good thing. I never said e3 or competition was bad, I said the big three do not need e3

@SportyMarioSonicMix actually the last e3 with Nintendo Nintendo got only 3.1 million views. This last direct Nintendo had they got over 5.1 million views. If you take away Nintendo, don’t and Xbox viewship then e3 is nothing more than a pc showcase with about the same number of views as all the others.
Now there is nothing wrong with that at all but my point stands.

@CircuitWrangler3 these companies are not going to present at E3 because it costs money and they can get the spotlight if they hold their own events. It is that simple. Competition is out of the way so we can shine. With the internet everywhere now E3 may be relevant for pc but not for console.

@Bolt_Strike everyone is going their own way to have their products shine without any other competition around it that day. As for Nintendo their year starts in March so I would expect something later this month or early March.

@SpringDivorce @ParadoxFawkes @MarioBrickLayer I would just go ahead and pick it up like Paradox said but I would wait for a sale. It goes on sale all the time so you can get it for under 30 with all dlcs or even under 10 for the base game. I recommend getting it though.there is so much to do and you will be ready for the new dlc’s when they come.
I myself waited for a complete version and got the one for Switch physically and now there are like 3 other dlc’s zzz. I went ahead and bought the rest of them and am hoping they will come out with a complete version once they are done adding dlc’s
Ohh and if you have an Xbox it is on gamepass with all dlc’s as well. Game data does not transfer so just a warning there but if you have gamepass or have or get gamepass pc you can at least try the game and see if it would be something you would dive into. It is how I started playing that and deaths door.

@Wexter it wasn’t the strategy that crushed all of those systems actually. The N64 and Gamecude had issues with developers putting their games on the systems due to hardware (cartridges and mini disks). As for the Wii U it failed due to marketing. The Wii U GameCube and 64 all were better systems than the competition but yet failed only because of poor planning.

Considering the ps5 and Xone are not at all living up to their potential if a new switch comes out it will be on par or almost on par to them. If you think about it both the 5 and series X are both being held back by prior gen systems first of all and second most companies are not utilizing the full specs anyway. I see no problem with a new switch model keeping up.

@UltimateBreak82 I guess you misread my comment. The switch 2 will probably be 1440p or 2160p. Full 4K is probably mot going to happen on the handheld but maybe the dock.
Meaning through a tv and docked it will run 1440p or 2160p or 4K however you want to put it but 4K will not be happening on a handheld.
Handheld will at most probably be 1080p

Separately they do not have the DLC except for 2 and 3 that I know of.
Also when they go on sale I would expect the rest to go on sale as well.
Third I will just play them on my Xbox with my 360 games and get just as good of graphics.
Don’t get me wrong I love my switch and once this is cheap enough I may get it possibly but I am a physical game collector and there is no reason to spend 100 on this when I already own them physically.
Now if UBI releases a physical version I would definitely buy it even if it was 150. I am will to pay for a 5 game slotted case and 5 cartridges with everything on them.

First of all you are a contractor so Nintendo is not your employer, Nintendo is the employer of your employer. They literally have nothing to do with you.
Second I lost any and all consideration of any claim that was made when they stated they had suicidal thoughts after being denied to have their name put on the Smash credits. I mean Really? That is sorry to say it but if that’s the case you should have been seeing a therapist long before. So I’m reality you are lashing out because you didn’t get your way. You also tweeted about a project you were working on regardless of if any information detailing it was giving or not you still did it which is against any non disclosure form that you signed. In a ND you cannot talk about whatever it is at all and that includes even making the statement that you did. All you could have legally said was I am working on something for Nintendo. That is it literally.
This whole thing will go nowhere including all the other complaints as well because they are all contractors and do not actually work for Nintendo.

@NintendoKnight I k ow this is a couple days late but Nintendo still has 2 years left on the switch, that will make the 7 year window. As for a switch 2 it will probably be more like the DS series was and be upgraded but still play all the older games as well as the newer games and in better graphics and most likely be 1440p or 2160. Full 4K is probably not going to happen on the handheld but maybe through a new dock. One last thing they may do is upgrade the cloud based gaming. If anyone gets this down pat first it will be Nintendo or Microsoft. Right now cloud gaming is pretty unstable and unreliable as for lag and connecting.
This is all I am expecting with the cloud gaming being a huge plus if they can and do make it flawless and honestly I am perfectly fine with it as long as they keep up the pace to give other devs the ability to put their games on it easily like they are now.

@Cooe and the steam deck costs only 2-3 times as much as a switch.
Also if it is heavier it is not at all easier to hold.
The library of games is small for the steam deck just like the steam box was.
It will be obsolete in less than 5 years for newer games.
So you see there is a reason it is another flop by steam.

@Timptation They will be forced to use those cards even if it means charging an extra $10 for the game. Playstation and other companies are already doing that anyways.

@Nintendo_Thumb it is cheating. Regardless of a bug or not it is literally cheating because they are utilizing something in a way it was never meant or allowed to be used.
