I love a bit of a grind heavy game. Might pick it up after I'm tired of pokemon!

Should I really play the games in order to enjoy them? I have all of them but never got around to playing them. Due to that the first game feels a bit though to get into. Any recommendations guys?

I see most discounts, but not Sword Art online? Will this discount come later?

Definetely going to pick up The Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate, and
Planescape. But surely The Witcher 3 as physical, and Baldurs gate and planescape on discount. Price point is simply way to high for such old games.

Absolutely amazing, I hope they release the rest of the series too! Never got to finish the second game on pc. One of my favourite game series ever. Will be a lot of fun with the gyro controls!

Lots on the wishlist this month, but no purchases. Great games though! Once I've cleared my backlog a bit, it will be another great purchase streak coming up!

@gcunit couldnt agree more. But this does seem very cool. I'd love a steeringwheel when playing Grid on switch.

Just finished the game and it's an absolute gem! I'm not even a fan of tactical games, but I'm a big fan of westerns. Had so much fun with this game! Only con is that by binging this game at some point I started to forget who was which character because of the varying story scenarios, but besides that 9/10 near flawless. I can recommend to anyone that likes westerns half as much as I do

Na, this style is not for me. Even though I love nightmare-ish hack and slash games this is a hard pass for me.

Kamiko is 100% worth the purchase. Can recommend it to anyone! Had a lot of fun playing and mastering that game.

@Bunkerneath well you have limited dots that you all have to cover and a bunch of lines to connect. At later levels they will be able to make this tricky as lines can't overlap.

Cadence, Collection of Mana, and Last Remnant really interest me. I'll pick them up eventually, but not yet. My backlog is too big and some expensive instant buys are coming up..

@Bunkerneath with regards to Crypt, you can't go wrong for this price. Personally I really enjoyed the game and can recommend it to you, but indeed it is not for everyone. Still, for 4 euro's giving it a shot will not hurt your wallet that much.

@Finlderp I really hope having Pokémon follow you around outside of their Pokéballs will still be a thing though.. That feature was so unique and well implemented with the mount system etc. It'd be a shame if they don't.. Though I guess it would be way to much work to implement this for all the pokémons that ever existed.

The screenshots look lovely. If it's not too expensive and if the reviews are positive I'll surely pick it up!

In the days that I wasn't so busy I would've picked it up. Now I'd rather sink my time in different games. Good for the people that are interested that it's available now!

@jcvandan Nice yeah Diablo isn't for everyone. The game turns different at max level though, but it's mostly just a gear grind at that point haha. I do enjoy it as I can do it solo and get my competetiveness from the leaderboards. The beam will not feel that overpowered anymore then haha. Still good that you tried and build your own opinion Civ 5 is a great game too!

Interesting list, I own quite some of them. Think Diablo III (campaign) fullfills my RPG wants the most though. I love the levelling and gearing, and the seasons keep it replayable.

I'm with friends this weekend, so it's going to be smash and mario kart. Possibly tetris for the unlock if I have some extra time

It just seems like a dirty trick to get extra money by making the game incomplete and force people to pre-order. I'm so sick of this DLC and pre-order period.

@Tandy255 That's a nice collection And yes, that's absolutely true. I do believe there is a market for these games, I just believe that with a different revenue model the market could be so much bigger haha

@sandman89 hahaha, fair enough. Pre-ordering Nintendo games is usually quite a safe bet indeed AC3 too as you know what the game offers, all that rests is how it runs on the switch but that looks fine based on the footage I've seen so far.

@Rhaoulos Nowadays I don't feel like buying any game without a review t.b.h. It's not a safe gamble anymore to pre-order a game or blindly jump in.

@Moroboshi876 Yep that's indeed odd. As I just stated to GameOtaku, I would only pay for a VC if it came with all the games and a subscription/purchase fee to get access to the whole collection.
Still good effort from these guys that they put in the effort to recreate the nostalgia for some people I can only admire that as I'm a big nostalgia fan myself.

@GameOtaku I know, and I realise the tone is condescending. You raise a valid point about the internet connection, but for me they simply don't offer enough. I don't say that they should stop producing these, all I'm saying is that you can count me out. You can purchase so many games for 7 euro's on Switch, and an arcade game like this simply doesn't offer enough.
I know releasing things for free isn't an option, but a bundle like the Nintendo Online Service works much better. You pay for access to the collection, and you get access to a ton of oldschool games. Here I actually would be enticed to try it out.
I would personally buy a collection pack for 25 euro's~, play the games I bought it for (e.g. mario and donkey kong), and try out the others available in the pack (e.g. this game).
This sounds like a healthier business model for these games in comparison with their current approach.

@Rhaoulos Couldn't agree more. If it's not free, I don't feel enticed to try it out. Then I'd rather spend that money on a new release.

I just wonder how well these sell at a price point of $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.. Honestly I can only imagine people paying that price for the biggest/most nostalgic old school titles like Donkey Kong or Mario. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

Na, the one great wallpaper for Detective Pikachu is already freely available. I'll stick with that one for my 3 screen set-up. (the neon street one, you can find it by googling 'detective pikachu neon wallpaper'). It's available in some nice resolutions.
Edit: If they would've allowed me to purchase the moving one they had at the cinema I would've spend my not so valuable silver coins.

It's a great movie. Made my childhood dream of living with Pokémon seem real for a moment. Can recommend anyone that likes Pokémon even the slightest to watch it!

Picked it up for the 50%, quite sure I'll enjoy this title anyway. The early discount convinced me to go for it.

Definite discount buy for me. Picked it up for PC at a price near to nothing, so can't get myself to pay this price for it. Still really want it as this is as close to a new GTA experience as it's gonna get for now.

They'll have to improve the loading times above all. Not just the in-race performance..
