Aren't ubisoft making a pirate game? I think it was pushed until this year, although I assume not on the switch. Did they bin it, or is that not classed as major release for them?

It's brilliant. Really enjoying this one.

A lot of demand for the analogue pocket. Can understand why, it looks brilliant.

Simply games have the Isabelle key ring. The game collection offer no key rings but it's under £40.

Would like this digital but I've pretty much gone physical only for the switch where possible.

I still look every now and again for a Gameboy player for the cube but the disc prices seem very high. Very interested in the analogue pocket.

Exactly right. I bought Fifa 18 and it was ok (much better than 13 on the WiiU when that launched). Skipped 19 cos I don't need to buy every year, and was planning on buying 20 to get two years worth of improvements. When they said it was legacy I skipped it, so now just play 18 every now and then. If they make a proper version again I'll maybe upgrade but until then stick with what I have.

Did the first level of Ring Fit and I was impressed. Looking forward to more of the adventure. This and labo really show great variety that the console can bring. Never tried arms but might pick it up at some point.

Preordered the new smash ones last night. Got to keep on the train!!

This would be amazing. Anything as good as brutal deluxe would be instant purchase. Have bought that game multiple times on various platforms, would love to have it on the switch.

The gaming bit seems to be getting the headlines, but I think this service is actually for gaming and gambling. There is an inference that some kids start on gaming - loot boxes to online fruit machines and that leads on to serious gambling problems. I suspect if they can pick up traits and behaviours at an early age it can prevent problems down the line. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the idea here is to tell people to play less zelda. Gaming is a broad spectrum and no doubt can lead to gambling in some instances. If you can prevent that path at a young age then the individual and those around them will have a better life (in theory, I'm not judging) and the bill to the tax payer is lower down the road.

I'm sure there are some cases where someone is addicted to more traditional video games (I used to work with a guy who fell asleep every day as he played online games every night) but I think this is looking for young people who are vulnerable to a debilitating gambling problem and gaming is a potential gateway.

@pblive does it hold up ok? I put a fair amount of time in to this back on the cube and enjoyed it. Wasn't sure if it would be a case of best left there.

1&2 on the cube were amazing.

I wasn't going to pay eBay prices, but happy to fill in the blanks. Still going with the complete smash set, but I'm really hoping they redo the Boo amiibo when Luigi's mansion 3 comes out.

The delay makes sense for their sales figures. Pokemon will shift a lot of holiday units making the market size for animal crossing much better in March. If the delay (which is small by their standards) means a bit of a higher quality game as well then great. This delay plays out better for them in the long run.

I bought 18 and it was OK. Better than 13 on the Wii U in terms of far fewer bugs. I skipped 19 (don't need to buy it every year) but I'd intended to buy 20. Guess I'll skip.

I thought I read somewhere a long time ago that there was an obligation to put FIFA on all major current platforms. I suppose if that is true they have to do the absolute minimum to retain the contract. And this is the absolute minimum!

NFS on the Wii U was great. That would be a great Switch game. I consider that more supporting Criterion than EA.

Definitely going to pick this up, as an owner of the Master System 2 with this built in, it is great nostalgia and not a bad game.

I had the master system 2 with Alex kidd built in, so that one is a definite buy. Nice bit of nostalgia there.

Oddly I trust Microsoft to commit to backwards compatibility so if I buy digital now I think they will support that in future consoles. Nintendo, not so much any more, and if they did I'd be charged extra for each game at a rate of one per quarter. Also you can get some great deals on Xbox digital, eshop not so much.

Outrun, the 3ds version was great but can't wait to see it on the big screen. I thought Sega were doing Alex kidd in miracle world but haven't heard anything more.

Not sure I really need another set but if atomic purple comes up them it's instant purchase.

I still love my 3DS and love that it has virtual console on there. Never tire of seeing the little mini consoles spinning round in 3D. However I haven't been able to justify £35 on some of the new games though. It's perfect for commuting and has such a great library. I also don't like that the 3DS was dropped a while back in favour of the 2DS line with most games leaving out the 3D all together. If they'd make some of the titles more budget I'd happily pick more up. If Luigi's Mansion had released at £25 not £35 I'd have been in. Same with yoshis wooly world. Captain toad on switch only cost me £26 on launch day.

@Anti-Matter Yea I must admit the PAL blue version looks nicer to me. I missed this on Wii U so looking forward to it on the Switch. If I ever get round to replacing my 3ds I could see myself double dipping for the 3d effect.

@Lroy I think the US box art says playable in 3D and 2D so should be.

I never got this on the Wii U so looking forward to the switch. I might even be go for the 3ds version as well, it would look great on the 3d display.

@jswhitfield8 Yea I was hoping they might bring back a couple of nice 3d's XL models. I know the focus is on the cheaper 2d's models but even so.
That black and green with the 3D model would be awesome.

How about some 3DS bundles rather than just 2DS. Still need to replace mine but going to see if anything comes out of E3. I still like the 3D effect when it's done right.

This was my first console, many hours were lost on this. Master system 2, with Alex kid on little world built in. This book has already got me looking on eBay for an old unit.

Loved the previous two books and while I'd like the Nintendo theme to keep running I'm pretty happy with this.

I don't recall Fifa 13 on the Wii U getting any patches so this is good. Might still pick it up at some point.

@Shiryu yea I saw the HD PC version, didn't quite recapture the magic. It's too good not to re-emerge at some point.

Maybe when he's done with sociable soccer we can get brutal deluxe going!

If they get the stock up and a good marketing campaign, it could be a good Christmas campaign. Those getting a Christmas Switch, will get Mario or Zelda, but if people see the FIFA brand on the shelf next to it, then it could do well.

For me it's got to come under £40. I was going to stick to last years which came packed in with the XBONE, and I got burned by FIFA 13 on the Wii U, but if the Switch offers solid campaigns, and drops to a lower price then I'd go for it.
Otherwise I know I can wait a few months and get it for half the price on another system.

I think it was a mistake all among. The original is the loading screen on the Xbox version. The icon on Xbox is the same as the one the switch will now get. I'd suspect a placeholder got left in by mistake.

@RainbowGazelle The kingdoms are written in gold lettering on the boxes. Hard to make some of them out, but if you look at Mario's right elbow you can see it says "Lake Kingdom".

@samuelvictor I just got home and saw you'd posted preorders for the Snes 3ds. Unfortunately I was too late. Saved me a few quid I suppose.

Still a few short of my smash collection. I wouldn't mind a restock of a the rare ones first!

£69.99 - hopefully Amazon will match. Also that price makes it about £12.50 more than the NES when you factor in 2 controllers.
