I bought it, not true on the gyro controls being sluggish at all. Now to not just sound biased like I think it’s a perfect port, it is not, but almost none of them are as expected. I’m just happy the solid port list continues to grow.

In my 3-4hrs in, every once in a while the frame rate gets choppy for 1-2sec then is stable again. It’s a perfectly fine port with not a single patch yet...@Burning_Spear

I don’t understand the hate the Switch port gets. Yes....yes...yes...I know it’s a little choppy during some in-game moments but to call it straight up broken is ridiculous. In my 4-5hrs in so far I have never had a game-breaking issue. I just haven’t gone back yet cause of jumping to some other games.

Not every Switch port is going to be flawless like Alien Isolation, Wolfenstein New Colossus, Witcher, and on and on. Don’t you people (the port rippers only) understand it’s amazing these ports are on Switch, period? What do you expect? All of them to be smooth just cause some are? It’s not that easy, technically for all games just cause some were. I digress, my venting is done. 🤦‍♂️

I’ve skimmed through this comment chain. Some people are just hilarious... Some ripping others because they think it’s a terrible port. Some getting excited like this a major 2020 type of Switch release, when it’s ancient.

To each their own, I’m not going to rip either side of how people feel, but it is amusing since this is an ancient old game. I can admit, even I have gotten “hype-burned” from some old ports JUST because I could add another game to my big Switch library. Sometimes I feel like almost any game at all that was popular whether it was 13-15yrs ago that is ported to Switch tons of people go nuts like it’s a modern AAA release of excitement, while others rip people to bits for getting excited over it having (most people) already played whatever game years ago on 360 or PS3.

They said already announced. I don’t understand the hype, especially for just 10min.

Will I watch, yes, but this is kind of a bummer....unless they bust out a new announcement at 9min 30sec in. (Super Mario 64 Remastered) 🙏

To this day the sequel on GameCube is still in my opinion the best jet ski game ever made. The ones that came out on PS2/Xbox were never as good.

You prefer Metro over Bioshock? Craziness. Metro visually is garbage compared to Bioshock, and the gameplay is choppy. Metro is also a creepier setting and has so many more “dark” levels. Just find it odd you think Bioshock is too creepy for you but also want Metro.

Also, if you didn’t know Bioshock Infinite’s setting is literally in the clouds in the bright blue sky for the majority of the game when you’re not in the inside levels. @spirit_flame

Absolutely no worries since it’s a free-to-play, it’s a win-win whether I liked it or not.

I may go back to it for a third attempt to get hooked on it, if that one still doesn’t do it I’ll be deleting it.

It’s cool, I went back and played a few more matches last night but I don’t think I’m gonna stick with it. Right now I’m almost just button mashing cause it’s so chaotic in matches. Not a bad thing, to be chaotic but this gives me vibes of Dauntless when I binged on that for a week and then never touched it again. Haha @ACNHislit

I just downloaded and tried this. I dunno... I just can’t help saying while I played that it’ll never be original and always in a dark shadow of Splatoon, even with the different gameplay.

Will probably get deleted with the other dozens of games I tried but wasn’t my cup of tea. Just me.

Funny you mention. I literally started Skyrim last night and noticed the multiple auto-saves. I’m just overwriting the “main” save and deleting the rest so I don’t rack up saves for no reason. @status-204

I’m a physical only buyer so I went that route, but if you’re a digital guy. Yes, the collection is available digital as well. The collection includes the full package for each game (all DLC).

Last night I finished Bioshock 1. So all I have left is Infinite and all have beaten them all on PS3,PS4, and Switch. Then I’ll do it all again at some point in between other games. Yeah, I know. I’m a psycho Bioshock fan. My jaw is going to drop once Bioshock 4 gets a release date. It’s officially in development if you didn’t know. @VegasToad

True. Haha, but Bioshock is that epic. The fun for me never ends. I’ve never to this day seen another FPS like it. Yes, the ones that failed trying to imitate it, but also how no other FPS has had rock solid gameplay with layers of player options to play how they wish and an amazing storyline. @VegasToad

I already beat Bioshock 2, and 75% thru Bioshock 1, then off to Infinite in between some other games.

I’ve beat all the Bioshock’s 50+ times on PS3/PS4 some how some way I continue to get reeled back in. I guess that’s why this is my favorite franchise all time. 😀

It’s the only franchise I would ever double dip in.

I’ll be sure to be cordial here, please speak for yourself. I couldn’t disagree more. I’m a physical collector to the core and want a physical case and cartridge at all times and also understand some games can only be squeezed in so much on a Switch cartridge for technical reasons and totally understand if we’re talking a Bioshock/Borderlands 3-Game Collection on top of that.

Now I’ll disregard the cordial, some of you guys/gals amaze me on these forums always not understanding it’s not possible to put 3 games AND their DLC all on a little cartridge. Sighs. @Zuljaras

It far surpassed my expectations. It’s basically my 2D exploration with some combat BioShock’s little brother. I can’t help but look at myself as a miniature Big Daddy while playing.

Yeah, I hear ya. I lost count how many times I’ve beat it. You ever see the gameplay video of the guy who remastered it for modern era? Forgot if it was PC or what, but I almost got mad watching it because I was like OMG if only they would do it. Google it if you haven’t seen it. @Dragonslacker1

I think this is definitely real. We’re in 2020 now. These games mentioned are truly retro in every sense of the word. This was bound to happen. Just my opinion. @Dragonslacker1

I’ve been dying for Super Mario 64 Remaster.

I’m 35, without question, Mario 64 (and Wave Race 64 + Goldeneye) will forever be the most nostalgic games ever to me because of my age at that time.

You guys surprised? Come on. If you haven’t played their games I get it. I had Aqua Utopia and Snow Freedom. I wanted to get into them but they were extremely choppy and controls were atrocious. I just turned my head thinking it could be a new Wave Race. The games are terrible. Unfortunately.

The cover art clearly or coincidentally I suppose steals from Uncharted 3’s cover art for sure. So, what is this? From skimming the article it sounds like a Indie Uncharted with zero 3PS shooting at all. Is that accurate?

While I think this is super cool and will be getting the game, let’s be honest, it’s an FPS. We’re only going to see our forearms and hands. (Not counting cutscenes)

Unless they implement a melee finishing move like in Destiny where you do it in 3rd person view none of us are going to see our customized suit the entire time.

Same here. After my first 2-3 missions, I was like wow. This is actually good. Then I did some PVE COOP mission, it was going fine until the end when we had to blow up a helicopter..... the rocket launchers didn’t have tracking so everyone was shooting them all over. Never took it down and one by one each person quit the mission until it was just me. So it took 60sec after that for me to delete it from my Switch to.

Warframe crushes this to pieces for me personally. If we’re talking free. @Rodan2000

Question for anyone.

I have Alien Isolation. When playing last night, for about 30-45sec the game stuttered as I was walking and turning directions but then it went away. I’ve played 3-4hrs so far and this only happened once so I don’t care. Things happen.

Is this what they’re talking about or something else?

Sometimes when I play I take a casual approach play session and sail or fast travel to locations to 100% islands (collectibles). @dewokkel

Back when I beat it on PS4, I never went back to it, but this time around my goal (and it’s a long one) is to 100% the game. There’s so many shipwrecks and mini islands out at sea on top of the main locations to collect stuff that 100%’ing this game is quite an accomplishment.

I binged on the story on PS4 where I was only 60 something percent completed for everything. Yeah, it’s a big game.
