I can imagine brutal hard optional bosses giving you optional abilities that you can use to gain certain optional reward which cannot be taken without the optional abilities ...that is why I do not understand why this game got a 10/10 when it does not add anything new to the genre/series.

I would like to know if there are optional bosses or abilities in the game which are not required to beat/gain in order to beat the game

I am mostly a PC gamer but I actually hate the PC community itself ...so much hypocrisy and piracy

playing just-released games via emulator is a huge crime ...I play ancient games via emulators that cannot be bought or were never released in EU on PS1 (Final Fantasy Tactics, Chrono Cross, etc), but this what is happening to Metroid Dread is something completely different

I am 2 hours in and I am shocked how many cutscenes the game has. They are useless and they interrupt the gameplay flow.

the game´s gameplay might be good, but cmon Square, the graphics is bland, uninspiring, boring ...even indie titles do not go for such minimalism

i think this is the next level in political corretness propaganda

the animations, the physics are just dreadful ...it has no dynamics, no weight ...i am amazed...

@Anti-Matter CTR had much better story mode, much more gameplay modes, more races and characters and much better graphics. Chocobo Racing was nice, but it pales compared to CTR or Speed Freaks or Toy Story Racer.

Bravely Default 3 needs a better story (not so well known generic crystal stuff again) and much more memorable characters (like in FF7-F10), lesser focus on grinding and some tweaks to the job and battle system (only to keep the things fresh and not the same again for the 4th time) and much better written sidequests.....yeah and bring us some minigames, but make it more interesting, as BnD was not fun at all....

@Sirloto Not at all! The Pixel Remaster versions aer so bad that I just cannot even play them anymore. Square Enix has degraded the original difficulty to easy mode, made various controversial "improvements" making those games much easier than the originals ....garbage
