Re: Poll: The Wii U is Four Years Old, But What Is Its Legacy?

Big_Ounce

Some amazing games, some extreme disappointments. I definetly don't hate the Wii U, but I was bummed by the game droughts, lack of GameCube virtual console games, and the overall low power of the console. That being said, I don't regret gettting it. Hopefully the Switch will fix these problems and becomes Nintendo's most successful console!

Re: NVIDIA CEO Talks Up 'Incredible' Nintendo Switch

Big_Ounce

@Anti-Matter I didn't mean it like that. I said I just don't want people not to buy the Switch because it's Nintendo and lot of people look at Nintendo as just a kiddie company. I for one couldn't care what it is or what it looks like. If it's Nintendo, then I'm most likely buying it no matter what. Hopefully Nintendo will bring in new fans and change their minds about the company and console.

Re: Short Hyrule Warriors Video Signals the End of a DLC Era

@KelvinJohn What does fried chicken have to do with Hyrule Warriors?
Edit: For some reason your comment shows a link (no pun intended) to some article about fried chicken. What's weird is that I see the article on my computer but not on mobile.

In all serious, it's sad to see the end of DLC for HW. Who knows, maybe a sequel on the Switch?

Re: Capcom "Researching" Viability Of PS4 And Xbox One Ports On Nintendo Switch

Big_Ounce

@The-Chosen-one As if Nintendo would actually do that. While I do hope the Switch will bring in those classic games and make new DLC for Smash, I doubt Nintendo will do just that. They have a history of making "new games" that turn out to be atrocities like "AC: Amiibo Festival" and having a "game is popular but 5 DLC packs is plenty" mentality. That being said, I hope I'm wrong and that they'll make masterpieces (and new DLC) for the Switch.

Re: Talking Point: The Nintendo Switch May Divide Opinion, But It's Made a Splash

Big_Ounce

@AlexSora89 That was probably the most biased and opinionated article I have ever read. It's okay to write an article that is based on your opinion on a particular subject, but the author had no real opinions. It was mostly "Nintendo is backwards", "Nintendo lost its touch with the gamers", and "Nintendo is doomed" comments. And besides, you can't critique something that hasn't been fully revealed yet!

Re: Analysts Weigh In On The Nintendo Switch Debate

Big_Ounce

"It lacks a killer feature"
Cause the Xbox One and PS4 totally have a feature where you can play Skyrim on the go. Seriously, do analysts just want a Nintendo Mobile device?! And it's not "innovated"? When was the last time you played a game on a home console and took it out of a dock to play it while you're at a friend's house or just plain playing it on the go?

Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 2016 Summary

@Kirk GOOD. Some people just listen to her rumors and treat it like gospel. I was just telling you that because one the things she said was that Mother 3 would be announced.I couldn't tell if you knew that or not.

Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 2016 Summary

Big_Ounce

Definitely not the BEST E3 Nintendo has had, but a spectacular one for sure! Even if it was a few games, it was worth watching all those streams. Next year's E3 will probably be amazing considering the NX is coming out. BTW I'm sensing a Nintendo Direct or something of the sort in the near future that will talk about the NX.

Re: E3 2016: Nintendo E3 Zelda Badge Appears to Suggest Male and Female Link

Big_Ounce

Listen, if they make two Links, with one being male and the other female, I think that kinda ruins the character. When it's for someone you can customize that's fine because they are supposed to represent the player. Link is basically his own character with the idea that you can give him a personality. A new female character would be better IMO. It would be like giving the option of a female Mario or male Samus. BTW I'm not against the idea of a female character, but I would want it to be a new character and not just a girl Link.
