I'm hyped beyond words. Four, count em', FOUR Fire Emblem games! Is this the year of Fire Emblem?

Of course Nintendo announces these games as I'm trying to go to bed. Also Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will include Inklings, a SPLATOON stage, and a RE-VAMPED battle mode!

People need to understand that there will be other launch titles too (maybe not BIG games, but still). Also E3 won't be too long after March 3rd so that will probably be the day they announce MORE games. Nintendo confirmed more than 80 games are in development. Needless to say, I'm so happy what they revealed. Maybe, just maybe, Nintendo might have saved themselves

Nooooo! My childhood! Literally, I loved the Mario cartoons as a kid (still don't know why I did) and Luigi was my favorite character. Mostly because of "That's Mama Luigi to you!".So sad of hear of this man's passing. May he be remembered for his incredible voice talent that gave us so many good memories (and memes).

The Nintendo Wii U: A system of great potential that was never fully understood even by Nintendo themselves. A system with great library, but ridiculous droughts. Still one of my favorite system of all time. Even if I recently got a PS4 and enjoy the games on it, it'll never top the Wii U in terms of endless entertainment. Way too much fun on that two-screened, not-an-upgrade-for-the-Wii game console.

@The8BitLego Well, now that I see your edit, wouldn't that include a Nintendo game as well? Thanks for explaining though. I'll just have to say "first-party" or just plain "Nintendo game" for now so not to confuse people. You wouldn't believe how many times people have called me a PS4 or Xbox One "fanboy" for saying "AAA" (referring to Nintendo games).

I have a question. Does "AAA" strictly mean third-party games? Because I've used the term for both third-party and Nintendo games. People have called me "PS4 fanboy" (Even though I have a PS4 that I quite enjoy, I like Nintendo better) for using that term. I'm just curious. Plus, I don't want to confuse people next time I talk about Nintendo games.

Good games. That's literally it. That's all I REALLY want. Of course if it was on par with the PS4 and Xbox One, that would be cool. However, at the end of the day, all that matters is the games.

In all seriousness, I saw somewhere in the comment section that says Niconico does timestamps every half-hour. Could this mean the event will be longer than an hour? I sure hope so. The event starts at 11pm where I live so I wouldn't mind staying up till 2am if I had to (that is if the event is longer than a hour).

@Billsama I meant "AAA games" as in great NINTENDO games. I use that term a lot for when I talk about Nintendo games. Sorry if that confused you into thinking I'm a "No COD, no buy" kind of person. Although I am a proud PS4 and Wii U owner, I'm buying a Switch day one no matter what. Also what's wrong with wanting a few third-party games? Isn't that what a lot of fans want on Nintendo systems anyway?

Hyped, but keeping my excitement at a calm. All I really want are smashing, AAA games and amazing third-party ports. A good VC wouldn't hurt either

Let's be glad that the Switch won't have as much shovelware......right? I'm serious. I honestly hope that there won't be as much. Don't want the Switch e-shop to be clutter with this....this...stuff.

As much as would like to see Mother 3 on the VC, I have doubts that it'll be coming to the US. But who knows? Nintendo is the company to expect or unexpect.

As long as the games are good, I'm excited! If all this turns out to be good (and not to mention all the movies, games, etc expected to come out) does.....does this mean....2017 will be the greatest year in this decade!?

Wow, 2015 felt like yesterday. I can't believe it's the last day of 2016. Hopefully this next year will make 2016 look like a joke. I can tell you one thing though, the Switch will make 2017 legendary for sure!

Why does Ubisoft all-of-a-sudden seem to live Nintendo so much? If this rumor is true, then that would have to mean other third-party developers are putting their games on the Switch, right? Let's hope.

Joking aside, I hope Nickelodeon doesn't screw this movie up. Maybe they won't do Mario; I can see them doing a WarioWare movie maybe because of its humor and cartoonish appeal.

I seriously can't believe people are mad at a $10 price tag. So it's completely understandable to spend $50 on micro transactions in Clash of Clans or Temple Run, but unlocking a FULL game for $10 is criminally insane!? Let me get this straight; investors want Nintendo to become Komani 2.0 and make you pay ridiculous prices for in-app purchases that you will most likely buy more of and to stop making consoles and put their games on PlayStation? That seems like a GREAT strategy (sarcasm if you couldn't tell).

I really regret downloading this game. I honestly thought it would've been fun, but it was just so pandering and repetitive for me. I cannot believe this is Nintendo's Mario app. I wonder if I should even have high hopes for the Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing apps.....

Oh boy. Weaker than the PS4?! I guess that means NO ONE will buy it then (sarcasm if you couldn't tell). Honestly, if it's at least 30-60 FPS, good enough HD, a good Virtual Console, good game lineup, and a good enough battery, that's all that really matters to me. I couldn't care less if the system is 50% weaker than a PS4.

How is posting the video online an "egotistical" thing to do? How do you know that it was all for publicity? Look, there aren't many people like this in the world so seeing this video really puts my faith back in humanity. Why can't people JUST be nice? Why does there have to be a "reason" or "motive" behind random acts of kindness?

Considering Fire Embelm: Path if Radiance is usually over $70 on eBay, it would be nice if there will be a GCN VC. Besides, who wouldn't want Melee on the go?!

Admittedly not a big fan of Fallon, but I can't deny the fact that I was just excited as he was. You could feel his enthusiasm! Great job Nintendo with your marketing! Yeah, yeah, I know, same thing also happened with the Wii U. However I feel like this was a great idea because
1. Jimmy Fallon's show is pretty popular so it makes sense to feature the Switch on his show.
2. The Switch has more people talking about Nintendo than the Wii U could ever imagine.
3. Nintendo has bit-by-bit shown teasers for BOTW making people more interested and hyped for the game and the Switch itself

I don't know guys, Nintendo might make the greatest comeback in video game history. Let's hear for Nintendo!

I, for one, am excited for the Switch line-up (except for the Mario/Rabbids game, though I'll keep an eye on it). Also this is a list of games that she KNOWS about. There's a sure chance that there will be more games for the Switch's launch.
