@TestudoVilis The article says it judges the games based on if the games have "enjoyed popularity over a sustained period”. New Horizons has only been out for a year, so it doesn’t meet the criteria to be nominated. The original was probably nominated because of it’s impact on the future AC games, as well as many other games.

@theabstractart So just because I don’t want to pay for a GameCube I can’t be an AC fan? That doesn’t make any sense.

I don’t think most of these would be good.... Animal Crossing is the only one I think they could make amazing since the original game is already a game about walking

I play the game when there’s new events and updates, but not nearly as much as I used to.

Honestly, I’m happy this is happening. I didn’t know that cartoon was there anyway and so it’s just funny.

@veesonic Come on, no company would be able to put all of those things into one direct. You can’t complain about a Direct because it announced a very highly-requested game.

Fall Guys, Project Triangle, Mario Golf, Splatoon 3. I would say Miitopia but it’s incredibly overpriced.

@Ludovsky Exactly. People keep saying Splatoon 3 makes no sense since there’s already splatoon 2 on Switch, and I agree with that. So there’s only one other logical explanation... it won’t be on Switch, it will be Switch Pro.

I misunderstood this title. I’m both happy and disappointed it wasn’t about a study claiming that people who game are secretly pigs.

I’m too far into my Wii U save file to start a new one and I’m not paying $80 for Bowser’s Fury so i’ll Probably borrow it at some point.

I don’t specifically mind this but... that CGI is a little bit... awkward....

Maybe they will FINALLY, ACTUALLY, release Pokémon Sleep for Pokémon Day.

I played this game on Wii U a few weeks ago so I won’t get this. I wish they released just Bowser’s Firy as like a $30 game or something.

@tatchy I would play it if you can play with one person. Not sure if you can, so far it seems like you can’t. But if you can, I’ll give it a try. I’m not mad that the game exists. I’m mad it’s a ‘big game’ bigger than New Pokémon Snap

@Scraggly1 They said 2020 when they announced it, so whether they delay it or not, I think this is referencing that since it’s still scheduled for this year.
