@progx If you’re emulating a game to Switch you would (although there’s probably still emulators that could get you the game for free), but this PC emulation of a Switch game, so having a Switch wouldn’t really matter (I don’t think). I don’t know a lot about emulation either, but this is my understanding of it.
@progx No you don’t? There’s lots of emulation sites that give you the game for free, and even if you pay the emulation site for the game, why would that benefit Nintendo? If you’re saying you need to buy the game on Switch to emulate it… I think you’re the one who needs to research emulation.
@Grawbad @abbyhitter @Jey887 @SteamEngenius It’s probably $65 Canadian, because games are more expensive here (Kate lives in Canada). @KateGray You might want to specify/fix that.
@Rykdrew Generally I agree with the first paragraph of your comment (except for the less content part, Nintendo has the amount of content other companies have, and even when they don’t, it’s usually higher quality, which is why). I didn’t mean to compare the people of NL to the rest of the Nintendo community, but what I meant was, in my personal experience, Nintendo Life has been one of the more positive gaming websites, and it’s still very negative at times (usually surrounding Directs and/or leaks).
@k8sMum In terms of money (which I suppose is what Nintendo cares about most) but the Nintendo community is so horrible, especially about Directs, I wonder how motivated they are to put money into them.
@FawfulDX If you read the first paragraph of the article, you’d know it’s because they released a Bayonetta trailer and a Partner Showcase separately, instead of together.
@Samuel-Flutter What makes you say that? In my experience, the people on this site are always displeased with the Directs content even if there’s been 4 or 5 MASSIVE announcements (most of which is probably because it had been leaked ahead of time), so it seems like these people don’t like Directs as much as they pretend they do. There are people who would say Directs are leasable is a joy, but those people are horrible people, so
I love the fact that Wordle is considered a game. Considering how many people tweet their grids,, it’s ASTONISHING Genshin beat it, because it doesn’t have much to do with social media… what do people even tweet about it?
@Markiemania95 It seems like they only said it was an eShop exclusive in one place, but says it’s in retail in multiple places, so if it’s a mistake, it’s probably in retail.
@Markiemania95 @ReaperMelia I just checked, and the Nintendo America is the only one that says that. On Nintendo UK it just says “coming to Nintendo Switch”, so maybe it’s possible it’s only in retail in some places? More likely it’s just a mistake on Nintendo America YouTube channel.
@JeanPaul I’d say there’s a 99.9% chance their just going to turn him American. I’d be genuinely shocked if they try to make him Italian, and even more shocked if it sounds remotely realistic.
@Pk-glitch Eh, sometimes the instructions are a bit hard to understand for beginners. I think that has more to do with your LEGO experience than your age.
Ok, why would those two things have anything to do with each other? Nintendo takes music videos down, and it means nothing, why would this be any different?
That is the most horribly edited thing I’ve ever seen, I can’t stop laughing at how this actually professionally exists… the reason for posting this post about one game is to just get mad at someone for a separate game? This is so stupid, it’s hilarious!
I don’t really… disagree with them? I don’t think there’s any games where multiplayer makes it worse, unless it’s mandatory or the main focus of the game. Usually, multiplayer is just a fun thing that’s added to make it a bit more fun. But if a game is fun, I don’t think you shouldn’t buy it just because it’s single player. So I understand both sides I guess.
I would go with Triangle Strategy. It’s technically the only one on this list I’ve played, but it’s still wonderful, and I don’t really thing anything’s gonna surpass it… Second place would be Fall Guys, because it’s really fun and is priced perfectly (;
I’m also planning on getting Portal sometime soon (I was going to get it today, but then noticed Subnautica was on sale) so that might be on my list.
Also, you should probably put Nintendo Switch Sports on that poll, because it’s at least a Nintendo game…
@UltimateOtaku91 Mario + Rabbids is (I believe) second-party, which the other person included in their message. Sonic Frontiers I for some reason thought was a Switch exclusive, oops. Also, Bayonetta 3 is confirmed for 2022, so… even other than those last 2, it’s still a lot of games for just 6 months.
@pnott Right because if a game has a release date as vague as ‘2022’, that automatically means it’s not coming in 2022… Who cares if a game is coming in Summer instead of Fall? They’re both games you can play many hours from, you can still play it in Fall. You’re part of the video game community that needs a new AAA first-party game every week, and it’s really sad that you expect it to happen.
@pnott @UltimateOtaku91 Live A Live, Mario + Rabbids 2, Splatoon 3, Sonic Frontiers, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Advance Wars, and Bayonetta 3. Very little indeed.
I haven’t had any problems yet… the frame rate is a bit annoying at times, but I suppose that’s more of a problem with Switch, not the game. Other than that, I’ve gotten in a lobby every time I’ve tried.
I’m still confused about why anyone was surprise, not about choosing Pratt, but that they might have casted Charles Martinet was even considered… Illumination foesn’t want this movie to appeal only to hardcore gamers, so why would they pay someone nobody else has ever heard of? It baffles me that people are surprised by this

@chardir Have you ever played Mario Galaxy? Because those screenshots look incredibly similar…
Re: Feature: What Is Live A Live? Everything You Need To Know (And Maybe More)
@ZZalapski Yeah so it is the Canadian price. I thought so, because $80 is the equivalent of $60US, so 65 seems about right.

@Rykdrew Yes because gaming fans ALWAYS give back to developers…

Huh I only just realized since this is a British website, they spell colour with a u, not the American spelling.

Re: LEGO Confirms Rumours With New 18+ Bowser Set, Which You Can Actually Fight
LEGO’s age ratings are based on the difficulty of the build, not the themes of it… it’s still a stupid system, but that’s why this is 18+.

@Yosher Good point, 13 is an unlucky number.
I still haven’t beaten Celeste’s 9th chapter, it’s very difficult….
Re: Feature: 13 Best Seniors In Games
@Yosher She should replace Dracula on this list, he isn’t old and Granny is amazing
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 2nd)
Would be Portal, but I instinctively bought Subnautica instead at 50% off, so mostly that. Probably a bit of Fall Guys as well!

@Knightrider1 If it were to come to Switch, it would probably be on Nintendo Switch Online, so it probably wouldn’t be in a Partner Showcase.

@chapu2006 @Andy77mk This is Nintendo, it’s not that surprising, sadly.

You guys expect way too much.

No lie, I was thinking about this “game” yesterday.
