Re: Talking Point: Would You Mind If Nintendo Retired The 'Big' Nintendo Direct Format?

@Rykdrew Generally I agree with the first paragraph of your comment (except for the less content part, Nintendo has the amount of content other companies have, and even when they don’t, it’s usually higher quality, which is why). I didn’t mean to compare the people of NL to the rest of the Nintendo community, but what I meant was, in my personal experience, Nintendo Life has been one of the more positive gaming websites, and it’s still very negative at times (usually surrounding Directs and/or leaks).

@Samuel-Flutter What makes you say that? In my experience, the people on this site are always displeased with the Directs content even if there’s been 4 or 5 MASSIVE announcements (most of which is probably because it had been leaked ahead of time), so it seems like these people don’t like Directs as much as they pretend they do. There are people who would say Directs are leasable is a joy, but those people are horrible people, so

Re: Developers Don't Take Kindly To EA's Single-Player Gag On Twitter

I don’t really… disagree with them? I don’t think there’s any games where multiplayer makes it worse, unless it’s mandatory or the main focus of the game. Usually, multiplayer is just a fun thing that’s added to make it a bit more fun. But if a game is fun, I don’t think you shouldn’t buy it just because it’s single player. So I understand both sides I guess.

Re: Poll: What's Your Game Of The Year 2022 So Far?

BabyYoda71

I would go with Triangle Strategy. It’s technically the only one on this list I’ve played, but it’s still wonderful, and I don’t really thing anything’s gonna surpass it… Second place would be Fall Guys, because it’s really fun and is priced perfectly (;

I’m also planning on getting Portal sometime soon (I was going to get it today, but then noticed Subnautica was on sale) so that might be on my list.

Also, you should probably put Nintendo Switch Sports on that poll, because it’s at least a Nintendo game…

@UltimateOtaku91 Mario + Rabbids is (I believe) second-party, which the other person included in their message. Sonic Frontiers I for some reason thought was a Switch exclusive, oops. Also, Bayonetta 3 is confirmed for 2022, so… even other than those last 2, it’s still a lot of games for just 6 months.

@pnott Right because if a game has a release date as vague as ‘2022’, that automatically means it’s not coming in 2022… Who cares if a game is coming in Summer instead of Fall? They’re both games you can play many hours from, you can still play it in Fall. You’re part of the video game community that needs a new AAA first-party game every week, and it’s really sad that you expect it to happen.

Eh, it’s better than what I was expecting.

@pnott @UltimateOtaku91 Live A Live, Mario + Rabbids 2, Splatoon 3, Sonic Frontiers, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Advance Wars, and Bayonetta 3. Very little indeed.

You guys expect way too much.
