I like both but we're already getting a new 3D Zelda so I voted for 2D as I don't want them to disappear.

Can't stand the remastered Link's Awakening art syle. The world doesn't look terrible but Link's expression is so lifeless. Like those horrible Funko Pop toys. The old Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass style was way better.

I wonder who even has the rights to this game anymore.
I would certainly buy something like the Secret of Mana collection for this.

I guess this article isn't about DokeV because it's coming to PC and looks too visually taxing for the Switch? Because that's the Monster Collecting MMO I'm keeping an eye on.

The pokedex thing doesn't bother me too much though I understand why it does for others. What does bother me is how disappointing the game looks. Maybe we all just have too high expectations for a 2019 game from one of the most profitable and successful franchises ever.
It's not like they can't afford to delay the game.

Thank you. We really don't need Sony telling us what we're allowed. Games have an ages rating system for that.

Not concentrating on indies seems like the right move to me.
I wouldn't say Nintendo is for a younger demographic though, the main reason Nintendo can't compete on the same stage is the hardware can't run 3rd party games anywhere near as well if at all, even COD gave up.

It's more that they said they were reducing the number of Pokemon to concentrate on quality, except the quality doesn't seem to be there so what gives?
The other thing is most fans would be happy waiting for a better product, this franchise is so, so lucrative and yet they rush out their games.
We look at games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey and want a similar feeling for the new Pokemon, this is the first proper home console Pokemon adventure that we've always been waiting for.
Personally I can understand wanting to not include all the Pokemon in every game, the number will just keep on increasing after all, but the game's quality should look better than what it does. Considering it's a system-selling title from Nintendo, yet doesn't seem to be given the same care.

If only Nintendo was as quick to sell us their retro games on Switch...

Um, what. I'm struggling to see the point of this.
Looking at data from people using the hashtag BringBackNationalDex. So basically all these people disagree with GameFreak and want all Pokemon to be in Sword and Shield.
This person just looked into how nicely worded the tweets etc were. Okay. Half the people are angry and the other half are more composed?

Wow, people can take away whatever they want from this somehow. They proved that every Pokemon (or it's evolved form) is someone's favourite. So removing Pokemon from the new games will suck for someone no matter which Pokes are removed.

I don't personally mind the restriction but can understand other's dismay. More concerning to me is how disappointing the visuals and animations seem to be, especially since they basically said the reduction in Pokemon was a reason for them to up the quality

Exactly how I felt watching the conferences. Crystal Dynamic's Avengers just looks wrong. It's also not as good looking as Spiderman.
Then the Nintendo one came on and I was like ... This looks so much better xD

As people have said above, I wouldn't expect this to take 'several years', from what we saw I think it'll be using the same engine and many assets as BotW just telling a new story like Majora's Mask.

Normally I like Japanese covers more but I dunno, that doesn't really fit the game that well : / Does that even really look like Joanna on the front?
The model used for the EU release obviously look better but the cover itself looks so messy with the logo covering her mouth and all that information everywhere, I actually prefer the US one I think.

@YozenFroghurt Yes and it sucked when Nintendo were censoring things, now it sucks that Sony is. Especially since currently Nintendo are fine with content that Sony is censoring.
Just because it's happened in the past doesn't make the practice any less worth complaining about.

As I was watching the trailer I was thinking, well this is another game Sony will censor, assuming it's even going to be allowed to release on their console.
I don't need Sony dictating what's okay for me to play. Stick an age rating on it and be done with it like everyone else.
It's good for Nintendo though.

I would like a breakdown of why it costs so much to play online on PS4 and XB1 when the majority of games seem to be peer to peer.

Oh cool, I missed this since I don't really want to play 3DS games anymore. I wasn't too fond of the Radiant Historia remaster changes having played the original and preferring the old art style however...

If there was a virtual console with snes games I'd have bought a bunch of games digitally. The Switch's storage isn't large enough to be buying new games digitally.

So how does this compare to Super Mario World, my favorite mario game?

I don't want a subscription service to be the only option for playing retro games on my switch.
And it should not be taking this long to put their back catalogue online...
