The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news just keeps on coming! On top of all of today's Terry-based excitement (including the now-live Version 6.0 update), we also have more news concerning upcoming amiibo.
That's right, both Dark Samus and Richter have been officially unveiled. The amiibo will be hitting store shelves early next year on 17th January, following on from this month's release of Simon, Chrom and Incineroar.
Pre-orders are already live at GAME in the UK (Dark Samus / Richter), although other stores such as the Official Nintendo Store are yet to follow suit. Here are the boxes:

They had Simon Belmont and Inciniroar available for pre-order some time ago, but nice to get a shipping date for them announced.
Uhhh, I have had Chrom for about a week now, I didn't realise he hadn't been released yet. Mind you, I also got alot of restocked Zelda amiibos which were scheduled for release November 27th delivered a couple of days ago... Maybe Nintendo UK store are sending things out early?
Either way, give me that Dark Samus amiibo... and the Joker amiibo please.

I do not play Smash but I will hunt down thay Richter amiibo! This will be my first amiibo ever!!! And Simon Belmont as well!!! I forgot about him!
@Audiobrainiac Check Best Buy. Although, I don't think it's as big of an issue as before based on what I'm seeing in stores. Might still be a problem for large cities, I suppose.

Are you thinking of the Fire Emblem series Chrom amiibo?
This is the Super Smash Bros series Chrom amiibo. Unless you somehow obtained it earlier some elsewhere, or it had a different release date in other territories.
@RupeeClock No, it was the Smash Bros Chrom, I have it next to my other Chrom at the moment and the stances are different (Fire Emblem one is based off Awakening artwork), not to mention the bases. It appears a few other people have had theirs early as well based on the replies to Nintendo's tweet.

Pre-ordered Simon now waiting for Richter. The best thing in my country is that not many people care about Nintendo stuff so there is plenty of merch around and there is always stock

Like others I've had Smash Chrom for a while now as the UK Nintendo store sent me it early. I posted this in the Amiibo forum. Was hoping other 2 would follow suit but guess they will arrive on release day.
Will be happy once I get the final 2 normal fighters in January. Then will just be the dlc ones to go.

I was a massive collector at the start of the amiibo hype but now I just get what I like. Going to be dark Samus for me. I have only picked up 2 new amiibos since ultimate's release. Ridley and Snake.
