In portable mode, the Switch is already like a giant GBA.

I got a cheesewedge 2DS, so I might go for this.

I wish Nintendo would finally make platinum coins usable for this. I have almost no gold coins, but I've got almost a 1000 platinum ones, and there isn't a single decent thing you can get for them, only trash and stupid wallpapers.

This service has deteriorated SO much, ever since it changed from the Star Catalog to what it is now, it's pretty damn sad.

There's still absolutely no damn reason anywhere near good enough for us not to be able to access our Virtual Console libraries on our Switches.

I’m playing through the switch remake atm and it would be hard to downgrade to these visuals after that!

@ThanosReXXX I still have some gorgeous stuff from the star catalog, like the coins you could get for registering Xenoblade, Last Story, and Pandora's Tower. And a yellow Pikmin doll, a Luigi's Mansion diorama, a soft silly Kirby flying disk,... And some physical games, also some Japan exclusive ones. Now it's all digital stuff, discounts and wallpapers :/ And the discounts on Nintendo software are rarely very interesting, or I already have the games physically.

@DockEllisD Indeed. Not even the collector's edition had this as an extra, while it seems a no-brainer that is basically free for them and would add quite some value.

Had it on GBC and 3DS when I had them, so, no. Still haven't nabbed the remake, yet, though...

@ThanosReXXX completely agree. I have 400 gold coins which half of it expire end of the month and I have nothing to spend it on. I’ll probably get a smash dlc character before it expires.

@1UP_MARIO Yeah, and that's the worst of it, isn't it? Spending coins out of fear they'll expire, so better spend them on something that you actually didn't even want, but which is kind of the least worst thing to get, or else your points are gone anyway...

Bring it all to the Switch finally.

@Shambo That's not entirely true. There was an event end of last year were you could get some really high quality posters for free by just paying the sending fee. I got both, the Splatoon ones and SNES posters.

Such an awesome game, played this last spring and completed the story, did the same later in the year with the brilliant remake!
