@Stocksy I had the same issue with Xbox. My bank couldn't even stop it as they said it was an agreement I had with Microsoft. Took me about a year to cancel. It was partly my fault as I had changed accounts and couldn't remember my log in email but still. I lost a fair bit of money as it just kept rolling over every month.
Red Lantern stood out for me. The Zelda Necrodancer was a nice surprise. Neo Cab looked interesting. The cup game at the beginning looked highly polished and good fun.
I've been getting this on both joycons. I can get it to go away (it lasted a few days) but it's came back. Interestingly they have both just run out of charge for the first time in 16 months. I'm thinking perhaps it's charge related.
I would like to add I must have had over 1000 hours use with these joycons and only just had the problem. If I had to replace them I think I've had my moneys worth. Nothing lasts forever.
I know it's not the same but I love the NESflix set up on the Nintendo online service and think it would be great to see all games available in a similar fashion. As long as the connection speed is improved across the country I'm all for it. I'd pay a monthly fee to access any game from any system with no download.
I'll be playing monster hunter generations ultimate. I've also recently got Octopath traveler but in two weeks I'm off work for eleven days holiday so I'm going to save it. I'll also probably play a bit of super Mario 1 and metal slug 1. I love high score/caravan modes
It needs some kind of stats system. Playtime for all your games with pie charts etc. They should implement a badge system as well like Kongregate showing certain things that have been achieved with percentages of people who have earned them. It would be worth booting up for that.
That's a brilliant idea. I've always thought the speakers in handheld/desktop mode are a little too quiet. Even headphones (the cheap ones I own) don't help. I am a little deaf though so others may not have the same problems.
The text isn't as bad as it looks in the pictures. It is easily readable for my fairly old eyes (few years off 40) I think it's got more attention because in the menu it describes the size as very large which is optimistic at best. It's about the same as text on a phone.
@Axlroselm I agree with your point about not having to play everything on the Switch but I'm sure most people don't play games on Nintendo for the graphics. Like you say if you want hyper realism there are options around for that. Myself I just need good gameplay and amusement. In my opinion this game can give me both on my treasured handheld.
@Mordridakon I'd also give it about 8/10. It seems to have a lot of depth and replay value. It sounds like most the issues plague every version on consoles so really it should get the same score.
I bought it and read about the issues while it was downloading. I was a bit anxious on whether I'd just wasted my money but after playing for a couple of hours I think it's a great game. The issues are there but the enjoyment I get out of it negates them. I would say it's like a Bethesda game when they first come out before being patched. Fallout used to crash on me all the time but the game wouldn't let me give up on it. If your interested in playing it I wouldn't let it put you off.
That seems fair. If you could access them anytime without a subscription then unless you wanted the other features you wouldn't have to pay. Also as soon as the online is renewed the saves upload again. The only time I can see anyone would have a problem is if there was an accident with the switch while the membership has ceased.
I completed FFXV on the PS4 and thought it was a great game but I did miss the old school final fantasy graphics. Realism is impressive but there's something more magical about the way they used to look. I'm happy to play through it again with this art style.
Good lord I forgot about Valkyrie 4. I've got over twenty games, completed three of them and have at least another twenty on my wish list for the Switch. That's without Diablo, Dark souls, Wasteland 2, Octopath traveler and Valkyrie 4. I still haven't got Mario or Skyrim either.
@booker_steve That would be a nice suprise and typical of Nintendo. I can't remember the last console I owned where every week checking the store was exciting. You never know what gems are going to show up on the Switch.

Re: PlayStation-Inspired Survival Horror Back In 1995 Spooks Nintendo Switch This Week
I do love a fixed CCTV style camera in my horror games. All the old 80s horror movies used it as well.

Re: Random: The Switch Won't Let You Download More Than 64 Games In One Go, Apparently
This needs to be sorted out. The times I've wanted to download 65 games and couldn't is a real downer.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 6th)
I can't stop playing Gems of war. I'm hopelessly addicted to it.

Re: Guide: How To Sign Up For Nintendo Switch Online
@Cartune yes I figured random matchmaking too. Also I had hoped for leaderboards on the nes games like the developers of the neo Geo range supply.

Re: Switch eShop Maintenance Scheduled For This Evening, Nintendo Online Service Ready To Go
Wouldn't it be nice if as a suprise there was some sort of achievement/trophy system but instead of points or a trophy you gain a gold coin.
Re: Think Of The Children Is A Chaotic Co-Op ‘Parenting Simulator’ Hitting Switch Next Week
